Who is actually doing the 200mg/day proviron cycle?

That’s my plan, gonna try low dose HCG like Joe cool. I did have some improvements after Proviron but feel like it shut me down a bit. The theory going round on the other forum is that after high dose proviron we’re in normal post steroid cycle shut down and that we need a PCT. I’ll post an update just gotta source HCG.

Yeah, that looks promising, as it explains 3 recoveries. I wonder if we have to wait 2 months to start the low dose HCG, though? Seems like forever, the medication leaves our body within a week. Is it people waiting for the PAL effect?

Yeah the pal effect, hoping hpta comes back online after a couple of months.

Good luck, man! Looking promising! Please update us!

I don’t know if the rules would allow me to say, even though I am certain and have zero doubts about it.

At the same time as my clomid PCT from the steroids cycle this improved greatly and seemed to “stick” with I reckon some ups and downs, during and following (and now after) my proviron run sleep is and was pre-fin.

Or as close as I can remember, it’s been 2 years of PFS now.

I do occasionally get the falling asleep REALLY fast into really really vivid dreams thing. At the start of improvements I recall this a lot. In a general sense this seems to be going back to more normal. The more tired I am too the more “normal” sleep gets.

Also in short I am still seeing improvements in this post-proviron phase (5 weeks after finishing) though mostly mental and cognitive. Nothing much to write home about sexually or in terms of going to the gym, but oh boy am I better mentally these days.

I hope you’re all keeping well.

Yeah, run proviron high dose again for maybe 1-2 weeks, then go HCG.

Are you low DHT and High SHGB / E2 profile?

Sorry, you’re saying this improvement happened during and after your proviron run as you’re now taking clomid as the PCT for your proviron run?

I am very glad to hear that your improvements are sticking. My sleep also improved to pre-fin a year after my cacao incident then I inhaled too much of a household cleaner and now I am doing worse than even year one of my PFS lol.

Hello - sorry probably wasn’t too clear on the timeline.

Took clomid as part of PCT following steroids cycle early 2020. Proviron cycle (exactly as Pal @ 7 weeks) ended just over 5 weeks ago.

Can you state your Clomid dosages and protocol? Because im going to do the same, also im going to quit this forum for a while. I will report back if anything happens. Thanks.

@jinstewart @Mercked

There’s absolutely nothing in the rules preventing members from sharing their subjective experience with treatments. It’s encouraged.

Do not make definitive claims such as “PFS is this” or “Do this and it will cure you”. Instead, consider using language such as “I believe…” or “This has worked for me”.

Ok good stuff - has to be said I’ve really really turned a corner in all departments bar sexual and “being muscly” again. THANK GOD the suicide ideation has gone.

Had dramatic improvements in ability to work, mood etc. Weird things to explain like “world immersion” (a term I’ve lifted from somebody here I think.)

Basically I’m sitting here at work typing this before I prioritise the jobs for the day, coordinate a few suppliers then get on with a productive day.

I feel rather odd though, and still feel sort of “in” PFS a bit - and completely appreciate reading this confused nonsense would be impossible for anyone without PFS out there. I can imagine you folks are grasping at what I mean anyway.

In short, huge huge improvements mentally. Sleep is great and restful. No blinding improvements sexually although I honestly don’t care a huge amount.

I’m as happy as a formerly muscular sexually active individual who is now a slightly fat asexual finasteride victim can be.

Looking like I’ll try HCG for a bit. Will have more bloods before I do so though.

And I know I keep on about this one, but I recall well how desperate PFS makes a person and reading a post like mine would probably have made ME jump on proviron instantly back in the day, so my warning is it’s early days with this one and that suicide compulsion… my good god that was hard going. Not to be taken lightly by anybody. It went away for me but a hugely trying time.

I know you’re all incredibly strong individuals coping with whatever this has landed on you, but I’d rather see this through myself, see what sticks after weeks and months and guinea-pig myself than tout this as a miracle in any direction just yet.

Plans now are wait a week or two for bloods then HCG as per JoeKool.

Hope you’re all well out there.

Man I hope you recover thanks for updating us. Who knows maybe you will respond well to hcg now hopefully that’s the last piece to the puzzle for you. Did you also experience genital shrinkage and numbness as well or just loss of libido and Ed?

Thanks buddy, yes I also hope so too! Early days yet but can’t deny I’ve improved massively. Life itself looks very different in fact.

I did experience a little shrinkage I think. Erections definitely thinner than they were. Smaller balls (though test levels seemed fine) and the hard flaccid and reduced ejaculate. Still got those, but I’d say improvement in anticipatory erections if I get porn up though not in a “libido” sense more a “physical response” sense. Hard to describe that one…

Yeah, I personally consider lack of suicidal ideation as “doing fine.” If you’re sleeping well again, that’s what matters most of all for everything else to follow. There was a study posted here that suggests insomnia is the number one risk factor for suicide among PFS victims. No surprise there. You’re also able to hold down a job. That’s pretty blessed.

I hope your improvements will stick and that you’ll continue to improve. I’m excited for you. Don’t think I’ll roll the dice on this or Ultra Hard yet. Thanks for taking one for the team though. o7

So, just to make sure I’m understanding this thread correctly, you took 200mg of proviron daily, for about seven weeks, and after a very very rough patch, you started seeing improvements in most areas but sexual? Would you recommend it to others?

I’m asking because I’m 2 months into a 6 month hCG course, and feel improvements in the same. I’m really looking for options if the hCG course doesn’t come to fruition.

It’s interesting that some of us here are considering using Proviron right before hCG. Since positive improvements with hCG started appearing within a a month, I wonder what the effect on others will be, and hope the Proviron addition doesn’t have any ill effects.

I second everything Jin said about the nature of my improvements, as well as my reluctance to recommend anyone jump on this bandwagon before exploring and giving other protocols their due effort and time to see improvements.

If your seeing improvements on HCG or whatever, I’d hold off on Proviron as long as that lasts because it will definitely set you back at least temporarily. And it’s definitely not going to feel good for anyone with low T/E to begin with.

That’s about right yes. In very brief overview the cycle was hard from a few days in (lethargy, misery, chocolate and caffeine cravings and the suicide business) but it got a little more bearable and the world that surrounds it looked a little brighter as it went on.

Stopping felt rather “deflated” but have been feeling slowly more and more “inflated” as I’ve gone on, for lack of better words.

I wonder if @Cooper also seconds Jin (even though he is not PFS?)? This improvement (which on its own is very promising) after the long heavy dosed proviron was also reported by PAL, besides rebel and Sanka from another forum, I hope we are discovering a pattern here… When are the others here who took proviron planning on starting HCG?

Maybe Joekool only got better with HCG because he did blast his ARs with proviron / androhard beforehand?

My understanding is JoeCool did take some Proviron, but many months before hCG. He seems content believing only hCG will work and no prerequisite is necessary. I’m 33% into the protocol now, and am committed to seeing it through. In that time, there have been no downsides I’ve experienced, so from that respect, it’s less painful than Proviron.

Hopefully one or both of these will bring us closer to long lasting relief from this hell.
