Not sure if you’ll know this but what’s the longest someone can stay safely on low dose HCG? Just had my 3rd injection today
Yeah. So… it’s been pretty long without tadafil now. Long story short - as I kind of longtime expected, cialis was basically propping me up to give the illusion of a semblance of a healthy body. Without it, I have every day this week, woke up with nearly non-existent morning wood, and have not had one spontaneous erection all week. Though I am able to get hard with manual stimulation which wasn’t even possible without Cialis, it is pretty weak.
Sticking with the protocol. Can’t stress enough that I don’t have anything to lose - very checked out at this point.
it could just be one of the typical “bad weeks” u get with pfs…you will probably know recovery is happening if these become less severe and less frequent
probably best to stay off cialis so you have a clear picture of what’s happening
@trav what week # is this? I do see many people experiencing similar waves of recovery so, yes, try to power through it. Everyone is starting from a different point but I’m confident in your progress
I agree on both points. It’s so difficult. I ended up taking Cialis not only for obvious reasons but also Peyronie’s due to fin(the gift that keeps on giving.) I think that months of lack of blood flow/activity caused Peyronie’s in the first place but that’s just a hunch. Regardless, it seems just from a visual standpoint that my dick looks unhealthy. But I agree, if I could get progress without Cialis it would be likely that the HCG was to attribute.
Let’s see. I started on 10/23/20 so I think that puts me around week 6?
Well we’re weird and gen pop rules may not apply, though I assume that’s what you’re asking for.
It might be indefinite/indeterminate. I’ve seen it on YouTube videos as being included in TRT, but they never actually state the dose used, just that it’s “low”.
If I end up going to the doctor I found in Austin who does low-dose hCG treatments, I’ll ask that and be sure to post.
Just wanted to post a brief update. Been pretty good since the last update. Not a whole lot to unpack. The biggest thing though is that after relying on cialis for at least 3 years I can say that I am no longer taking it and still able to handle business. This is pretty huge for me, considering the idea of using another pharmaceutical to cover up the propecia damage is unsettling to me at best.
The downside? I almost never get hard spontaneously anymore. Half the time I wake up with some sort of wood half the time it’s pretty weak. So in that regard things are 100% not like they were before fin. I doubt until there is a scientific breakthrough that there is nothing that will get me back to where I was before but I remain optimistic.
It’s kind of a difficult thing to put into words. HCG hasn’t been some profound change - but it does seem to be pushing things in the right direction. Ironically, It seemed like those first 1-2 weeks it seemed the most profound, but I was also on cialis + hcg. The fact that I am doing alright without Cialis is pretty miraculous to me - as things were REALLY bad without it. Though I am sure time helped as well.
The vial has lasted 45 days so I just got a new vial and once I reconstitute it I will have about 45-60 days of that one before onto the next one.
Thanks for the update. Have you noticed any changes to any other symptoms? Mental, libido, emotions, etc?
No problem.
Mental - Not really. Though I wrote this earlier as well but a lot of the mental symptoms that I had I think got better with time(prior to HCG.) In my first year I had awful brain fog, anxiety, inability to recalls words, absolutely awful fatigue constantly - it was a fucking nightmare. I would say I was about 70-80% recovered in this prior to HCG.
Libido - I actually think HCG boosted my libido. It comes and goes but all things equal, it seems to be more intense when it does happen. I find myself getting horny in the morning sometimes now, prior to HCG every morning was fucking awful and I felt like a corpse.
Emotions - kind of is tied to the prior two. Again I would say this is around 60-70% recovered prior to HCG. It’s always been difficult to gauge as you forget what life used to be like. It’s a really difficult thing to look down to see your shriveled, misshapen junk. Even if you were 100% healthy emotionally, to have to see it and experience it every day will and does take it’s toll on anyone unfortunate enough to experience it, if that makes sense?
Well, you’ve made it 45 days…10 weeks is 70 days and we have to assume some variation in response time, so I’d say we all need to be patient and at least wait to the end of that second vial before guessing that your benefits might be maxed out.
The Cialis is a major confounding factor. I would want to hear from you after six months of hCG and then a few days of Cialis (if you still want it) to get a better before and after comparison. Even then, remember that your levels may drop and then come back up again coming off hCG. This is a long-ass project when done right.
As someone who has gone through this for coming on six years without Cialis, I can relate to the emotional toll of the shrinkage thing. Hang in there.
Thanks for the update! Please keep us updated on intervals.
thank you, this has made my day
i think hugely positive as still early days for you. If I can get to a stage where I can perform regularly without cialis then id probably accept that as sufficient recovery
Any hairloss on it?
How about fat and muscles?
Doing alright. Nothing hugely profound as of yet. My thoughts are that while I was expecting something a bit more dramatic and quicker, it’s more like a slow drip.
Not sure if anyone else on HCG can comment but just a few weird possible sides I’ve noticed.
Coldness in extremities sometimes, light nausea, possible feet swelling
The other thing that is interesting that it almost seems like I feel better the longer I’m off it. For example, I do injections Friday, Sunday, Tuesday and then there is a gap from Tuesday to Friday. I feel like I tend to feel the best around Thursday evening/night. But that could just be a coincidence.
Also - and the most bizarre in my opinion; hair growth. I thought I was crazy when I looked in the mirror and thought my hair looked thicker. I don’t really give a shit about hair anymore but it was something I noticed. I was expecting hair loss, not hair gain. I would say it’s nothing but I had a few people comment saying the same thing. Also looks like some of the hair on my arms/legs is darker and possibly thicker.
Just updated. Fat and muscle about the same - maybe slight increase in muscle, but I have been hitting the gym pretty hard so a bit of a confounding variable there.
Oh well, at least it’s making a small difference over how you were beforehand.
There is no coincidence man. not about thursday night not about hair growth. please track every good/bad side effects it helps a lot.
Today i injected first 250iu.
Do you feel that this thing is the exact right thing for treatment?
Trav, I absolutely have the same with body and facial hair. Even my eyebrows are growing back, along with hair on my legs and hands (the hair on my hands had all disappeared before. When it first started growing, I took a photo, so I know it’s happening. My beard is not as thin anymore. As for hair on my head, it may be thicker, but like you, I don’t care about it any more,
First set from last week
Second set from Mid 2018
Got new bloods today. Really pretty confused. LH tanked since my last bloods which I expected. But test is still low? Anyone have any ideas here?
Not focusing too much on bloods. I think we all know that it’s not always the full story.
I’m feeling pretty good on HCG - but definitely not cured. I still have upswings and downswings like I’ve had for years. It’s really hard to explain - but I feel like HCG has helped in some ways and not so much in others. I’m nearly 3 months in at this point.
