What I’m doing takes time. I’m showing that it’s an up curve so it’s just a matter of time before it gets better and yeah, 100%, why not ? I’d sure be happy !
If there’s a fast recipe, I didn’t find it or know about it.
But I think if there’s a path that can help many of us get better with time; it’s worth investigating.
Sure it is. I am still convinced about this path. My comment wasn’t a critique about you or the way you are going. It was just an expression of my regular frustration and hate towards pfs, what it has done to us and our lives and merck.
Does anyone recall from a few months back (I think) a story of a guy who recovered after a course of anabolic steroids? I think the upshot was he had PFS, mooched along for a while, then a bodybuilder friend of his talked him into doing a cycle, then he did PCT, then randomly after a bit recovered.
I’ve searched for it but I’m buggered if I can find it. Be very interested in reading it again.
I’m not sure what the format of this thread is supposed to be but I’ve been doing quite well as of late for anyone interested.
After some hormone testing I found that I had very very high SHBG which caused very low free testosterone and very low estradiol. I’ve seen quite a few finasteride guys with similar blood results and several are doing better after supplementing.
My thread is here:
I found that 150mg/week of testosterone fixed most of my issues, but keep in mind it took 8 weeks of doing this regularly before I got any positive results. I’ve since switched to a testosterone cream that is much easier to apply. I’ve recently started having a lot of hair shedding (lots of DHT I would imagine) and my libido is back to where it was before all of this started. Sex 2x a day is no problem. Sex every day is no problem. My appetite is back and I’ve gained back a little weight.
Anyways. I’m not going to put the whole story here since that’s why I made the diary thread, but yeah, T worked for me. It took a while, and it took a higher dose than most TRT people start with, but it did eventually work. I’m not saying it will work for everyone. For those with true androgen receptor issue, I don’t think it will. But for some people with just super high SHBG from fin/dut it might be an option to consider.
Is that without considering total testosterone, free testosterone, and bio available testosterone ? My blood test 1 month after crashing showed all those 3 to be in the upper range. My SHBG was exactly in the middle of the range for an 18-49 yo, and middle low for a 50 yo+.
I was 50 at the time but everyone believe me to be 35-38 when thay look at me. No gray hair, no wringles.
Maybe biologically I fall in the 18-49 category ?
How did you do that? Also did you have any size or small bend on penis when erect? If so, did they resolved too? Pls man im so fucked up. I just need to hear that those bend and size loss is not permanent and it can be cured 100% to its old form. Thanks Moonchild.
Generally, i think everyone has erect shrinkage in a some degree. I think shrinkage happens slowly and in long periods to some people (milder ones) and we really forget our penises real size… im not sure if i did experience real shrinkage, but my erections are somewhat thinner and softer now. Idk. I hope that these things are false and shrinkage only happens abruptly… i hope im wrong at this. Anyone experienced slowly appearing shrinkage and didn’t notice it?
Would you be so kind and share your recovery process in details ? Because that short message and wishing all good luck is not very informative. Thanks.
I agree. That’s what I’m doing and pfs is not a major annoyance in my life.
Water fasting for 24-36 hours once a week or every 10 days is the best compromise for me.
I also found that taking inulin as a supplement (or to sweeten something, although it’s not very sweet) increases Butyrate production by guts bacteria. In fact, we can’t digest inulin and it only feed our guts bacteria, much of which goes into producing Butyrate.
It’s worth mentioning that we can take up to 10-15 gr a day of inulin, which produces lots of butyrate.
I’m going to play it all together. Eat ghee (best source of Butyrate), take sodium Butyrate and inulin, take BHB salts and be ketogenic which produces BHB.
4-It is also do anaerobic exercise ( Running ) 2 or 3 times a week for 10-20 minutes, it help increase BDNF really good for the brain.
Note: Butyrare also increase BDNF.
5-Be patient.
6-Spend time focusing on recovery and stop being a seating duck waiting for a research that will not solve your problem.
7- Stop taking several kind of supplements specialty with a very complicated protocol, It will not help at all, it only are going to put stress in your mind and hole in your pocket.
8- If stressed take L-THEANINE and GABA, it help with the sleep also, avoid to take sleeping pills or melatonin.
I am going to to live my life without thinking about this nightmare that I been through, so I will not be constantly visiting the forum.
So can you sum up what have you been taking and what you think helped you ? Suddenly you got cured and you basically ignore requests to write about you recovery? And again you written a post with generalised recommendations which mean nothing. We want your constructive post about recovery. Or I am afraid you will be another member who mysteriously recovered and disappeared forever. Sorry if a bit agressive tone.
