Still Can't Wear Underwear

It’s been a year and half since I stopped fin and I still can’t wear boxers because the elastic puts too much pressure on my waist and it hurts. I still have frequent urination and wake up several times a night to use the bathroom, but during the day it’s manageable.

I have no problem wearing pants with buttons so I’ve just been going commando, but it’s annoying that I have to wash a pair of jeans from wearing them only once. Maybe I need to buy boxers with buttons but I haven’t seen any of those around, only ones with buttons around the fly area. Someone should start making them cause it looks like I have to get them custom made. Edit - I found some https://www.mackweldon.com/products/woven-boxers but idk if they’ll still be too tight.

Anyway, it’s just so damn ridiculous, just wanted to complain.

Can’t you just cut the waistband to make them looser or buy a size up?

I’ve tried cutting it before but it makes it uncomfortable and it doesn’t fit right. And I don’t think a bigger size is gonna make the elastic weak enough. Hopefully in another year it’ll pass though.

But I want a redo at life lol

I feel you buddy, I’d change so much too, but maybe we will get the redo we all deserve eventually. Everything happens for a reason i guess, for bad or for good, we are down this road now, but we very well can also be the one’s to fix it

can you explain more the undewear situation on why you can’t wear it? it’s too much pressure when you wear it or what happen?

It just puts too much pressure around the prostate/lower stomach area. One of my symptoms is frequent urination so everything is more sensitive.

why does frequent urination make it more sensitive do you think?

things are just messed up around the area idk

Some of your symptoms overlap here.

You might like to try some stretches and exercises to relax your pelvic floor. I am currently experimenting with those.

A book is recommended here (mine has not arrived so I can’t comment):

And I posted some stretches here:

Those things may or may not be helpful but the stretches won’t cost you anything but time - they’re quite easy and you don’t need to be very flexible to go through the motions.

I’ve read those pelvic topics before but I’ve been too lazy to try them cause I didn’t think they’d make that much of a difference and I’ve been exhausted from insomnia, I think I’m going to start exercising again like jogging and stuff so I’ll see about doing some stretches. I don’t like static stretches though cause they can cause injury, might do some dynamic stretches instead.
