WHY THE HELL ANXIETY GOT WORSE?! I’m doing everything as usual: diet, excercise, lifestyle, EVERYTHING!!! Why do i have this crippling anxiety that doesn’t let me breathe?!!! It so high that i want to cry.

Hi Sonic. Are you still using your hair lotion? If its minoxidil, then a common side is dry and wrinkled skin but seem to get much better upon dropping it, possibly due to collagen is coming back then. Even stemoxydine seems to give the same sides so i believe every hair lotion is bad
Also minox can cause pfs so do your google research about that if you havent

My lotion contains progesterone 1%, estrone 0.02% and hydrocortisone 0.03%.
i assume that P should be harmless since is the precursor of allopregnanolone and doesn’t directly inhibits 5ar.
E1 (estrone) is not anti dht.
I’m worried about hydrocortisone, since may act on the adrenals… Maybe this one is harmful…

I’m gonna eliminate hb from my lotion.

and, btw, i’m planning to shut it down completely pretty soon.

i think i can say that my poop is fixed, i don’t want to talk about poop anymore. :avocado:
i’ve added a sexual side, now i really feel i’m a part of this lovely family (i love you guys).
i ate a half avocado, it was delicious and i also experienced an increase in anxiety. maybe is in my head, i’ll try again tomorrow. i’ve always loved dichotomies, as well as the word dichotomy, and now i’, in this new, exciting, dichotomous relationdhip with an avocado.

Regarding the lotion i dont know then. Minox is bad definately but your lotion may be another thing. Maybe you can drop it just a few days and see if the skin improves?

Avocado is what i know a dht blocker. Some get better on them and some worsen. I am very sensitive and need to stay away from all dht inhibiting foods completely.

You are sure you arent malnourished? 63 kg doesnt sound so. much. This can deplete hormones

Btw i got the advice from a physioterapist regarding my sleep issues to chew the food until its liquified. This activates enzymes in the saliva. The digestion begins in the mouth and by chewing it can help the gut to heal and improve the sleep. I dont think think it reverses pfs directly but it cant hurt to do this thing properly. I nearly swallowed my food before so its interesting to see if this makes sense.

Great youre beginning to chew the food.
Eating some crap food may help to gain weight. On the the other hand, you may not following your diet then.
I have actually worsened when i switched to clean eating. You can read everywhere gluten etc is bad but i became malnourished this way or that the gluten free diet itself triggered insomnia. Maybe i broke my enzymes which breaks down gluten this way and can activate them again by chewing. However i think ive got some result from chewing in two weeks so far.

Regarding the lotion. Are you sure progesterone isnt a dht blocker? I googled it and seems to inhibit dht. The scalp definately absorb these things. No doubt

to me, eating pasta and bread is dangerous, as you can read in this log. i feel very very bad.
about prog… yes and no. Prog requires 5ar to transform into dhp and then into allo, so it would not make any sense for Prog to inhibits it’s own trasnformation into allopregnanolone.
Basically, Prog is called a 5ar inhibitor because compete against T, which means that P keeps the 5ar more busy in transforming itself into Dhp.
And yet, P is a truly 5ar inhibitor at huge quantities.

Btw, as i said, since i found out what aga mostly and really is (inflammation) i’m planning to shut down my lotion as well (and do something even safer than this). hope it works.

in this sense, yes, P is an anti-dht.

This morning, after a week in which i was doing well, i have a terrible anxiety, again.
looking at what i’ve changed yesterday in my regimen, i did/did not this:

  • i masturbated (i promised to not do it)
  • i skipped the antidepressant (as i’m trying to eliminate it)
  • i usually stop all the devices within 22 pm but yesterday i stayed awake late, till 2 am
  • didn’t meditate
  • didn’t exercise
  • i had a night snack

i suppose that is it mostly due to the antidepressants.
or maybe masturbation?

update: this has been discussed before. yep, masturbation can worsen my condition.
now, how to resist?
