Got another recovery or improvement of symptoms at least. Its very weird, I think sometimes my muscles or my body in general feels very flat, and this condition can disappear over night. Really strange. At least the blue veins on my penis are less visible and touchable.

Furthermore my cognitive dysfunction got better, I didnt know I had one lol. Its not brainfog,
its just that my thought process is blocked, I try to make a point verbally and I cant speak fluently. Very odd. Its getting more noticeable when my sleep is bad.

Thirdly my motivation seem to get influenced by that too. So during the recovery I start to clean up my room on my own without thinking about it, which is a huge deal to me normally.

No idea what supplement or food is improving me or not. I dont give a shit about pfs at the moment, I dont let this thing drag me down, nearly every symptom is somewhat treatable and even if its just indirectly. The only thing that I never experienced since my crash is this visual arousal from looking at women. Besides that at least sometimes I had normal boners, high libido, good orgasms, good cognitive function, acceptable sleep. Its just comes and goes. But I know its treatable, maybe not the cause but at least the symptoms.

My current regime:

  • mucana pruriens
  • l tyrosine, l-phenylalanin
  • 5-htp
  • tribulus+maca+zinc
  • once week or two: choline+betaine+Vit-A
  • 1-2 per month: phenibut
    (dont ask me about specific brands, I dont think its makes sense apart from herbs)

Furthermore I do weightlifting, cardio and try to stay as keto as possible. I might start a food protocol since it makes obviously a difference, but it will be a pain the ass.

So you are taking the tribulus constantly and you don’t cycle it? If so, what dosage do you take?

What do you think, would 1-2 week cycle of tribulus alternately with taking choline, betaine and vitamin a in the off week be a good idea?

Btw: This thing with problems getting visually aroused does really concern me, because I read a few other “recovered” guys reporting the same. If anyone has a proper explanation for that, I would be very interested.

Yea I cycle tribulus, but I dont know if its doing so much. Often I get better after stopping tribulus. The choline+betaine combo does still work btw, its just that I cant rely on it. So I cant take it spontanously and my symptoms get better. Its usually works like this: I take it from time to time and every 2-3 weeks or whatever my symptoms get better for about 3 days or so and it takes usually 24h or more to kick in.

Iam not sure. There are probaly substances that are required for sexual stimuluation that arent synthesized anymore. Iam now 6 months in pfs. I had really many up and downs. Most symptoms can get better with supplements, and during my short recoveries I feel like that sensitiviy and erection quality is good. Libido is tougher but still managable, I would describe libido as the urge to get off.

Visual stimulation is the hardest to improve on. Often I feel absolutely nothing when I see a female body in public or something, but I do get a boner though if Iam about to interact with one or flirt etc. There were two times in which I was very close to the original thing. One time I was standing behind a woman in a line and I got aroused by looking at her and smelling her. Second time was when I was observing some women sitting near me, and I was paying attention to the small details that make them feminine and that kinda aroused me too. That was it.

Not sure about 5-htp and l-dopa supplementation anymore. I have reduced appetite and some eople got worse from 5htp.

L dopa gave me an initial boost in mood for a day or so and then declined. I don’t mess with 5htp anymore since I got really nauseous and felt like death after taking it before bed on a night where I had 2 beers

5-htp ruined my life. I’m one ofe the worse case and the trigger was 5htp.

5-htp cause eosinophilia myalgia… It’s very similar with PFS.

Low visual stimulation and low libido is the same shit, don’t over-complicate things.

I dumped my protocol and found a new one. Frequent alcohol comsumption is getting me better.

Alcohol metabolites, acetaldehyde can induce inhibition of DNMT

This is a bad way brother. Alcohol is not good for us. Only short term solutions.

Currently Iam not taking anything and still have improvements that arent fully stable.

So:

  • I get morning wood
  • I have normal penis size and god erection quality
  • almost normal penile sensitivity

Its strange though because I dont feel it in the brain. As if some part of my libido is missing.

Maybe one long water fast is the last finishing hit for recovery and you are all good brother. I would try that one especially in this period. Just saying, do your own research ofc. Btw, how about your orgasms and semen volume? Thanks.

orgasms are fine, semen is still watery though. I dropped minoxidil maybe that helped.

I’m really glad because I can perform really well sexually, sometimes I add cialis just to be sure but its overkill. Sometimes I have neurological problems like anxiety or problems concentrating. And I dont get as much aroused in the brain as before, hard to describe.

I still take tyrosine and phenylalanin from time to time but tbh I dont want to take any supplement because Iam fine the way Iam.
