Short-term Recovery with Choline, Inositol, Cod liver oil, Phenibut

I have lower sex drive since I started eating cocoa. I don’t mind it though. as long as it’s not so low that I lose my motivation for making more money than I need (as it’s a result of male sex drive)

I’ll say something, I hope it won’t offend anyone as it’s just my true feelings and has nothing to do with anyone else but me: For me, the pursuit of sex and relationship with women has been a big investment of time and money that has not yielded much happiness. Au contraire it made me miserable more often than not and I’m quite happy to have just enough sex drive to feel a little something when I see a good looking girl but not enough to bother do something about it. Plus I have sex once in a while when my wife can’t hold it anymore, but with or without, sex is not a component of my happiness.

My children and my work are a component of my happiness and for sure I needed a little sex drive along the way to have children and be motivated to work.

Sex is healthy, esp in a relationship and it raises your male hormones. Have more sex. I want to have sex. I mean, cocoa is quite healthy but if it leads to less sex, then I think it’s worse that you’re taking it. BTW, besides having my sleep drive demolished, my ejaculatory force is weaker since eating those cocoa beans.

I still have a few fat bombs mostly flavored with berries but with cocoa powder as well. I’ll finish them and be done with cocoa and chocolate. It’s not only the sex drive issue, it’s the whole system that has to be put back in balance. So you`re right, it makes it worst to eat chocolate in any form.

I’m very depressed atm. Can’t stand this shit any longer.

Im 51, at the top of my career and everything is falling apart because of this shit. 2 days ago, I was wondering if I would have any work to support my family and its all due to the loss of short term memory and being generally disorganized compared to how I was pre-pfs, when I built my businesses.

Theres no good time to get this disease. To me, it feel like a parasite attached to me and I cant get rid of it.

But there`s not much we can do and comparing ourselves to our former self is not helping. This is reality now.

Im trying to see the few good points in this: it builds compassion, it forces me to slow down, it makes me more humble, less cocky (still cocky, just less so !). I went on a ketogenic diet and at 51, I now have the same body I had at 28. I can climb up a rope with my legs wide open, using my only arms (but who cares when I can take the elevator). If I lose my business, Ill have lots of free time and can move to another country. If I lose my wife and children, I can find a new girlfriend or stay as a bachelor and enjoy my hobbies.

I don`t know your specific situation. But there are things you can do: diet, exercise, supplements, that can make it more bearable. L-Tryptophan 1000 mg in the morning and afternoon can reduce depression for example.

I know it sucks. Personally, it`s not even the worst thing I had in my life: at 27, I lost my wife, all my friends, got arrested by the police and almost tied a knot around my neck to finish it. , I stayed depressed for almost 10 years and out of it I forged my first business.

A friend once told me: Use it or lose it.

Thats what Im doing. I make the most of what I have and try not to think of what I don`t.

As time pass, things slowly get better.

Just hang on, time is on your side. And fight it, don`t let it get to you.

Had another betaine+choline recovery (without Vit-A) was also after taking phenibut+alcohol again, lasted maybe 3 days. Alcohol in general seems to be more harmful then good. Iam addicted to porn while having pfs which is pretty hilarious, because it isnt the libido itself, its the habit.

Tribulus ist also working but the improvement from tribulus is different and not as good. Betaine+choline recovery is really good because I have so much more sensation in my penis if this recivery were permanent I would be okay.

Any updates about girth and size on penis? What about erections, semen vol. and orgasm quality? You feel almost pre-pfs about them?

Is choline necessary? I ordered betaine but from doing some research on choline it seems it increases methylation which I thought is bad for us? But I guess betaine is just helpful for digestion so idk how it’s supposed to help
Penis sensitivity?

girth and size ist decent, but only when errect, when flaccid it looks weird. Semen is still watery, sensitivity and orgasm are good enough.

nothing if for sure, I will test betaine+choline now without phenibut to make it sure it has nothing to with it. Iam very skeptical concerining phenibut, I only took it once per week at max, but I got some rahter strange symptoms after usage, especially combined with alcohol.

Iam not even sure where Iam at. Do I have mental side effects or not? Because I cant tell really. Sometimes I had this odd feeling as I feel as a totally emotionless zombie, lacking this warm connection from mind to body. But this got better.

About sexual sides: Iam not sure either, I can masturbate several times per day, today I ejaculated maybe 5 times in total. Its just that everything sensitity, erection-quality and arousal isnt as strong as pre fin. Sometimes I got more softer spontanous erections when seeing a female ass but most of the time the visual arousal is completly gone. So I cant stop masturbating although my libido is down, which is strange because its so much of a habit.

Why don’t you try the Maca again? From what I’m able to gather it seems to be far and away the most research-supported pro-libido herb or supplement out there. I’ve always been surprised people here don’t talk about it more. I guess the reason might be that people want to fix things and are looking for hormonal changes (which it doesn’t provide in men). But perhaps what you are looking for is rather just simply libido changes, which the studies indicate it can be excellent for.

another full recovery at the moment without phenibut. Iam not sure what I did though. I took arginin, citrullinmallate + maca for a while right before sleep with the idea to get a morning wood as I read that increase bloodflow is probaly important. Than I stopped this and went for choline, betaine+Vit-A. I think this was on Mondaynight. Took about 32 hours to have an effect. Iam also taking 5htp+tyrosin+l-dopa but this shoulnt have any effect on sexual sides.

This improvement is as the first one. No problem to get an erection, full sensitivity, strong orgasms etc. But I dont know if its because I stopped the arginin+maca combo because sometimes I got better because I stopped a certain supplement. And the sad thing is that this improvement wont last and sex and maturbation is so much more enjoyable this way.

Mucuna pruriens is actually androgenic… and it affects libido and testosterone. But its hard to guess what exactly helped you.

Yeah so far I think of 3 possibilities:

  • intake of choline, betaine, Vit-A, this combo showed the exact same improvement before. It feels different compared to improvements via tribulus or amino acids. Interestingly it does take at least 1-2 days until the improvement is recognisable and it only takes one dose to get an effect which lasts several days.

  • maca pruriens, 5-HTP, tyrosine. 5-HTP and tyrosine are unlikely to help.

  • actually stoping maca+arginin. Somtimes stopping a herb like tribulus showed improvements aswell.

This improvement is very strong. Sensitivity is total different, I can edge and have this feeling of being alble to delay an orgasm. I could totally live with that.

Maybe there are some similarities with me. I have been recovered few times. First time I believe it was DHEA + Mucuna and I think tribulus. While I was taking it I have seen improvements already. And after I stopped them, everything got much better. It lasted 6 months with Ok libido and good erection without any herbs.But its hard to differentiate and track what helped exactly.

It sounds almost as though it’s a ‘tug of war’ whereby starting the supplement changes the homeostasis and then the body adjusts, and then stopping it causes another shift in the homeostasis. It seems to be those shifts which provide temporary recoveries. Possibly shifting AR densities? At certain times there are favourable ratios between AR density and androgens which then eventually shift to an unfavourable state?
