Little update: Ive taken this combination every day now and the improvements are still there. Only problem is that the libido isnt as crazy as the first time, but erection quality and sensitivity are good. Overall it did improve my ability to perform sexually very well. I just want my libido and my ability to get aroused visually back and Iam totally happy. I believe with supplements this disease is bearable.

Going to start tyrosine+5htp next week, and going keto after week.

Stay away from 5-htp! That f**ked me up! Iā€™m serious.

Yes stay away from 5-HTP for now. It is risky, donā€™t put yourself in another risk while doing good. As for the mental libido thing, are you obsessing and testing yourself everytime when you look at a woman? After this condition, i look woman to test my libido many times, but this perspective and intention itself kills the natural process of visual arousal. If you do the same thing without realising it, maybe that creates a psychological negative addition to your symptoms. Just saying that ā€œtestingā€ the libido everytime creates a endless loop of negativity. We didnā€™t test ourselves when we were healthy, mind was clear when looking at woman. Just a negative ā€œadditionā€. Of course this is not the root cause of the problem!!
I wish you regain your libido and visual arousal back.

PS: When you say erection quality and sensivity is well, you mean is it 100% back to normal like pre-PFS? Or is it like %80 good?

back to 80% pre fin. So far erection quality and sensitivity isnt really a problem anymore.

There is definitely something wrong with me. My hairloss is stalling like Iam on finasteride, no itchy scalp nothing. And I dont get aroused by women visually anymore. The last time I did was at the beinning of this thread. I get improvements that last 3 days, from aminoc acids/ herbs.

My carnivore / ketogenic diet is letting me down. I mean, I have normal days and never slept better at night in years (and I crashed 10 months ago) but too much protein and not enough fiber got me constipated so much I literally busted my ass going to the bathroom. No kidding. Now I have blood in my stool and it hurts.

Looks like I will have to eat more fibers.

Any of you have any idea how I can have more fibers without eating too much carbs ?

Also, Iā€™m taking the same supplements everyday and Iā€™m cycling nothing (including 5-HTP and Iā€™m fine with it, I guess everyone different). Iā€™m wondering if I wonā€™t get stuck in the same imbalance, having to take the same supplements all my life.

Does any of you have experience with cycling supplements and how I should do it ?

Iā€™m taking like 25 supplements. I cannot stop them all at the same time, Iā€™ll just crash and maybe make myself worst than before.

Any idea ?

i only get constipated when i cheat and eat some carbs, on meat only its flawlessly

it seems adding fiber to it is worse too:

I was fine on meat only. But sleep was not as good. So I increased fat, reduced protein, still no carbs, added zero carbs veggies and I got constipated.

Go figure.

And 5ar inhibitors. Cool

I doubt they would hurt him but who knows, plenty of guys take zinc and various herbs (lionsmane etc) that are known to also inhibit 5ar without too many issues.

Update: I used choine+betaine+ vita-A (cod liver oil). Never had the amount of improvement that I had after the first time of usage. Currently I got the typical sexual symptoms and its been like that since months. I get a 3-day improvement, doesnt matter if its amino acids, herbs or some other stuff, everything kinda works for me, sometimes even so well Iam like 80% and I could live with that state. But then my improvements fade away and Iam at pfs baseline for about 2 weeks or longer.

I dont have much neurological problems beside absent of libido and sometimes feeling as an emotionsless psychopath.

two options:

  1. It has to be cycled.
  2. My phenibut intake 1-2 days prior to that made it possible.

Iam still not sure what to do. I have still progesterone cream left, and a couple of supplements that gave me improvements.

What did progesterone do for you?

I havent yet tried progesterone. I want to use that as a last resort. So far betaine and choline and vitamin A didnt provide me with a lasting improvement. Maybe it has to be cycled.

I create a list of certain things that I will try in the next weeks:

  • ketogenetic diet
  • pine pollen
  • cialis
  • antibiotics
  • cycling aminos

And I will add other things aswell. I will make an appointment with a doctor, it will take some time. I want to get a blood test and a referral to a specialist. There is no treatment, but maybe I will get some anecdotal evidenc.

The only symptoms I get from pfs are sexual ones. It seems my overall angrogenic system has been shut down. My hairloss has stopped, watery and less volume semen, loss of libido, weaker errections etc. If I can fix these things more or less as I did with one time at the start of this thread I wont give a shit about pfs anymore.

Sorry I meant what did you buy the progesterone for, like did you read a study or someoneā€™s results after they took it?

Your symptoms sound a lot like mine. Many herbs/supplements help me out for a bit, then I come back down. I would say itā€™s purely placebo in my case, but during these highs, I have looser testicles and night erections. Night erections canā€™t be placebo effects, can they? I mean, Iā€™m literally unconscious for them.

I also have strongly blunted emotions, which is shitty but comes with a positive edge. I donā€™t experience highs like I used to, but the lows also donā€™t hurt as much.
