I did go back on a few times. It basically gave me temporary recoveries. I’m not sure if it affected my baseline or not. In terms of just physical problems from PFS I’ve just been degrading only time that’s seen improvements is during those temporary recoveries.
@Toughluck24 Fuck mate it seems similar to my path. We can only hope that it could take longer to recover if you’ve had a greater degree of exposure especially when taking it on and off. I remember the last time I took it I couldn’t even touch paper, my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth and my eyes were blood red because if the dryness. After stopping it subsided to a manageable degree. Some recover upto 5 years post cessation something to hang on too
That sounds horrible brother. I hope that one day we are able to recover. Thank you so much for the kind response.
My feet are getting cold, I seem to have diabetes, my toes are swelling and turning purple, my blood sugar is hovering around 10, I have a smoking habit, I’m only 19, I don’t know what to do
To be fair, if you see my hair now, you will curse me for taking Finasteride, since its perfect right now (literally better than 10 years ago, and i get compliments all the time for how nice it is)…Roll back before i crashed, you everyone was telling me how thin my hair is getting, and that im starting to go bald (i was a diffuse thinner)…So yeah this poison during taking it for 3 years never halted my hairloss, but after crashing, my hairloss is halted like magic, and all lost hai is grown back thick and healthy…And thats about it what remains from a healthy life…Oh Man how much i wish i can trade this stupid hair with a bald old self…If only i knew…
Alright, forget I said anything. I really respect anyone who has to go through this all. I don’t curse anyone. I was just a little confused about his case based on the photo and I tend to let my emotions run a bit high. I take it all back.
I literally have a better hairline than I did before taking the 1mg of Finasteride. I grow hair in places on my scalp and my body that I never grew before. It’s insane. All of my hair texture changed. It’s super dry like straw now.
Please try the fillers. I will probably do it to soon
I tried following:
My skin is getting thinner and more wrinkly even compared to my parents which are now 60! (I am 34!). This is crazy
I tried different things which did not work yet:
-Hylauronic Acid creme made me crash
-Retinol creme made me crash
- Botox injections help a little with the mimic wrinkles but not with the lost collagen wrinkles
- Avoid sunburns at alle costs
- Standard Sun Creme has Antiandrogen chemicals that made me crash too
- Stay away from ablative Erbium Lasers, they made my wrinkles definitely worse, even if the Derm said “its impossible”
Argan and Coconut Oil moisture a little bit without crashing.
I may test pure Vitamin C Serum until I recover from my last crash
@ all I think it is very clear that some of us had a dramatic skin aging.
The question is what we could do about it. For women with skin issues after menopause estrogen cream or progesterone creme is suggested
Since Progesterone helped some here with other symptoms, it might be a good start
Despite that I am thinking about buying an L Carnitin creme. What are your thoughts on this??

I subscribe to everything the OP who created the thread says. It’s not just that I’ve lost hair thanks to a drug that supposedly stopped the hair loss, it’s that it has completely destroyed me.
Greetings merck and to the hair loss forums.
Here are my eyes while smiling. I’m 36
Your skin doesnt look as bad as u think. But depends on what u looked like before these particular changes. Has your hair recently gone grey too? @hippydoof i find my hooded eyes are a lot worse when i eat any plant foods. I recently bought silk pillows and i no longer have the deep lines on my face which generally take hours to refill/go away
Ya I’m.going pretty grey now. My skin feels like mush. It’s red and puffy and loose even on my wang
My body look awful man I hate the way I look. I’m still skinny but I’ve lost my definition it feels like I’m.wearing
skin pyjamas that are too big for me . I’ll try one of those pillows Anything that can help.
Also I gotta say having this horrible disease + having a tooth pulled + the tooth next to it being in 10/10 pain after extraction + having to quit smoking is not making for a good time right now.
Its an awful existence @hippydoof accelerated ageing into a geriatric body overnight is so tough to take and thats just part of if it. Good luck with the pillows. One more thing, Ive had dermal fillers and getting some more today. Something id recommend to those with the dramatic facial changes. Mine is particularly bad on one side. My rheum proff said on Thursday its the look of a long time steroid user which im assuming also the result of a shut down in androgens. Stay strong
20 Years sufferers of Isotretinoin. Long Time Sufferers of Finistarid. I’m fucked Up after 2 Months. I feel weird, I Met the big Love of my live with ED after 2 Months. Yes I know, Ive to Cool down at the baseline. My big Love ist gone. There was now medical reason to Took this pills right now. After the Years pain is the dayly bread. 20 Years with this Shit??
For people experiencing these changes, did you notice the changes within a few weeks or months or over a span of many years?
Few weeks from the day that I stopped the poison but it got worse with the time
@lacpaz I hope it will get better or at least a slower process.
If you guys use moisturizer, does your skin stay wet all day or do you apply the cream severel times a day?
I quit smoking couple weeks ago and drink less alcohol since 1 week. I use more moisturizer aswell. I think my skin just got better.
I noticed severe physical and facial changes the next morning of my first dose.
