Young, nice-looking man living in Southern California with a loving wife and two small kids – who’s also head of an IT company that’s boasting hundreds of millions of dollars in sales – just kills himself for no reason?
Well, there IS, as many of you can attest, a reason.
Thanks Adam for taking all these PFS public. The world needs to know they aren’t just names on a list somewhere, but real people who suffer every moment of the day from the horrific effects of Propecia.
Meanwhile, someone told me that Dr. Irwig’s interview has had more than 10,000 downloads to date. That’s a lot more than I would have expected. But I’m happy that people are starting to pay attention.
No offense but I feel this doesn’t really addres our problem. We DO NOT have contributory calcifications that are responsible for our curvature. Our situation is NOT one of plaque buildup from disease or injury. For most people, the bend or curvature happens rapidly, for me it was overnight. One cause of the condition is hormonal which is what ours seems to be. There is a fountain of misinformation about our condition from these doctors as well as forum member so I feel the need to address this
Interesting, FT. But at least people – patients and medical professionals – are starting to talk about these issues. Ditto conducting clinical research in this area.
But nothing will change – Merck will keep denying that problems with any of their drugs exist and, at worst, pay a fine of several million dollars and be done with it – unless you stand up and speak up.
