PFS Podcast

ok, my fault. i misunderstood that there were two different people. i apologize.

Yeah, Ipicked up the wrong quote in my post. I was referring to Kelly O’s husband, the subject of Yesterday’s podcast.

my fault. i misunderstood. thank you.

I will definitely be interested in hearing what Kelly Pfaff has to say. I believe this is her husband’s obituary:

legacy.com/obituaries/baltim … =163925706

Young, nice-looking man living in Southern California with a loving wife and two small kids – who’s also head of an IT company that’s boasting hundreds of millions of dollars in sales – just kills himself for no reason?

Well, there IS, as many of you can attest, a reason.

It’s called PFS.

Kelly’s story was heartbreaking:

Everyone should tune in soon.

Thanks Adam for taking all these PFS public. The world needs to know they aren’t just names on a list somewhere, but real people who suffer every moment of the day from the horrific effects of Propecia.

A new show will be today at 6:30 pm EST. It will be Ben’s story(donkeyboy99)

Thanks for the update, Jorbie.

Will definitely tune in.

Meanwhile, someone told me that Dr. Irwig’s interview has had more than 10,000 downloads to date. That’s a lot more than I would have expected. But I’m happy that people are starting to pay attention.

Never mind. Just got cancelled at the last minute.

Excellent interview with Stan Hardin of the Peyronie’s Association:

He discusses the link to PFS. Everyone needs to listen to this interview – and support Adam’s efforts going forward.

Thanks, Adam.

No offense but I feel this doesn’t really addres our problem. We DO NOT have contributory calcifications that are responsible for our curvature. Our situation is NOT one of plaque buildup from disease or injury. For most people, the bend or curvature happens rapidly, for me it was overnight. One cause of the condition is hormonal which is what ours seems to be. There is a fountain of misinformation about our condition from these doctors as well as forum member so I feel the need to address this

Interesting, FT. But at least people – patients and medical professionals – are starting to talk about these issues. Ditto conducting clinical research in this area.

That’s a necessary first step.

By the same token, YOU, too, should speak up.

Email Adam at his show and tell him you want to be a guest: pfsglobalpodcast@gmail.com.

Put your money, as they say, where you mouth is.

Thanks.

Ha ha

Couldn’t agree more!

Well said PR123

We need frontline soldiers to step up and tell they’re own story and Adam I salute you for the excellent job you continue to do for us !

Agreed.

Guys, I KNOW how badly many of you are suffering.

But nothing will change – Merck will keep denying that problems with any of their drugs exist and, at worst, pay a fine of several million dollars and be done with it – unless you stand up and speak up.

New show today at 1 pm EST…Brandon Lee will tell his story.
See more here…blogtalkradio.com/pfsglobal/ … lees-story

I just downloaded Adam’s latest interview – with Brandon Lee:

blogtalkradio.com/pfsglobal/ … lees-story

Yet another tragic story. But also inspiring that Brandon said he stabilized after about two years.

That should give hope to guys in the early stages of PFS.

So definitely tune in.

New Show tomorrow with Dr. David Healy, author of the book Pharmageddon and Let Them Eat Prozac.

Here is the show: blogtalkradio.com/pfsglobal/ … avid-healy

Starts 12 pm Central Time (US) call in and ask Dr. Healy a question.

Thanks for the update looking forward to the Dr. Healy interview.

I wonder if you could ask him why PFS patients are not taking seriously by most doctors and what can we do to make doctors believe us ?

I will ask him that. Thanks for the question. If any of you have another question you would like me to ask, please reply to this with your question.

Excellent job, Jorbie. I am happy to see so many reputable figures coming on the show. Will definitely tune in live.

And anyone who has a question should do the same – and ask Dr. Healy your question directly.

Excellent Job Jorbie. Keep up the good work.
