PFS Podcast

Just listen to it

Adam, I really really commend you for this work your doing.

What a superb interview this latest podcast was with DR Irwig

Seems like your made out to be a perfect host.

Thank you so so much, please keep up this great work.

I wondered if you could maybe get back in touch with your first caller, Kelly, to offer her and her Mothet in-law suitable councelling, perhaps through the PFS foundation ?

It totally blew me away when she says she lost her husband to a Propecia suicide!

Thank you again Adam

Also I would like to congratulate my friend Vincent on telling his story on the podcast here too…

TIGERSHULL -
Thanks…and thank you for putting on these on Youtube so they can reach a wider audience.

I just listened to Dr. Irwig’s interview and was saddened to hear the wife who called in to say her husband committed suicide last year after quitting Propecia.

Meanwhile, I just read that a longtime Merck executive, Linda Rooney, was murdered by her stay-at-home husband Timothy – who then shot himself:

radnor.patch.com/groups/police-a … police-say

Would be interested to know if Timothy was on Propecia – if he recently quit.

Ironic if Linda did in fact die at the hand of a PFS victim.

In a statement, Merck said there was “no causal relationship” between the gun shot wound to the head and Linda Rooney’s death.

This is great. Thanks Thetigershull for spreading this on Youtube.

Agreed – the most people around the globe who hear PFS patient stories, the better.
Tigershull and Ada are to be commended big-time for taking action rather than just sitting around moping.

Adam,

Great job that you’re doing by raising the awareness of PFS. It actually helps to hear voices of real guys who are going through the same s#*t that I’ve experienced for the past 18 months. Not that I want anyone else to suffer from this condition, but your interviews at least make me feel less alone in this fight.

I have to say that i was eager to hear what Dr. Irwig had to say yesterday, hoping he could at least provide some insight from the medical field. However, most of his message was “research is a slow moving process” and that it’s going to take a lot more time to form any conclusions or offer an effective treatment. If anything, the discussion made me think that i may have to try more on my own and quit waiting around for science to offer a solution.

Nonetheless, thanks and keep up the good work.

Latest podcast from Adam at the link below, he talks to Kelly, who us the wife of a PFS victim from Canada…

As always, thank you so much Adam

Who’s up next week?

I just listened to Adam’s latest podcast, with Kelly Oxelgren of Winnipeg, about her husband Denny:

Excellent, though heartbreaking, interview. Everyone needs to tune in asap:

Thanks to Kelly for being so honest about her husband’s PFS, and the pain it has inflicted on her marriage.

This Wednesday we have a show scheduled for 3 pm EST - we will be talking to Kelly Pfaff, whose husband, John, committed suicide two years ago because of PFS. Please give the show a live listen and don’t hesitate to call in. Here is the show info:

Superb work Adam. Rest assured I will be tuned in live at 8pm Uk time

I will as well, thanks for your work.

Thank you for your work, Adam.

Adam,

Great podcast. One thing that i didn’t hear was what sides Kelly’s husband has today or the current severity of his PFS. I think she noted he regained his libido after many years removed from the drug. Also, she said he starting taking something that helped greatly. Do you recall what that was?

Thanks.

unless i am misunderstanding, the poor guy killed himself … regained libido ???

maybe i am misunderstanding your question completely, or i am fogged as hell today, but this guy is now dead because of finasteride

There are two Kellys. Kelly Oxelgren–the one on today–her husband recovered some of his sexual function. Kelly Pfoff–the one who will be on Wednesday–her husband killed himself.
