PFS Podcast

Guys -
There is a new Podcast on Blog Talk Radio dedicated to PFS - the victims, strategies, etc. The URL is:blogtalkradio.com/pfsglobal
Email: pfsglobalpodcast@gmail.com

Might be something you would like to listen to, or even better come on and tell your story. Its every Sunday morning 8 am EST. If you want to come on the show email them and it can be confidential…another support group for all of us.

Good idea. The host, Adam, seems to be honestly trying to develop a support group for PFS patients.

So I’d encourage everyone to check out the show, and participate as well.

I just noticed that the show also has a companion Twitter feed…

twitter.com/PFS_Global

…so be sure to follow that as well.

Well done to who ever set up the show the more awareness of PFS the better.

Good job, look forward to next week.

Big thanks to Adam, the host, for putting this together. Will be listening.

Again, please post comments on Adam’s radio page as well:

It’s important to show public support of this effort.

Thanks.

Episode 2 is up. We take a look at Castration vs. PFS. Next week TIGERSHULL will join me to tell his story. If any of you want to tell your story, email the show at pfsglobalpodcast@gmail.com or PM on the forum. You don’t have to use your real name. Here is the episode - I hope it helps some of you deal with our currently shitty circumstances.

The podcast is an excellent idea. I’m proud of you, Jorbie, for having the courage to take it on.

I’ll be curious to hear how fellow PH members like Tigershull – who seemed to have suffered the most severe PFS imaginable but has since regained enough stability to keep fighting to regain his health – sounds in real life.

Bringing PFS patients out from behind these anonymous posts and into the real world (or at least the audio version thereof) is an important step in letting the world know that PFS is not only real, but is devastating the lives of god-knows-how-many-men-around-the-globe as we speak.

Please comment on Jorbie’s podcast page to show your support:

Great work jorbie!

It might be an idea to put those shows on youtube so you can reach a larger audience.

Not a bad idea. I know a lot of people who put their shows on YouTube for extra distribution.

I want to tune in live to the next show, Jorbie. And I think others here on this forum will as well.

What time will you be on tomorrow, Dec. 15? Also, who’ll be on with you?

We will be on tomorrow morning 10 am EST. My guest will be TIGERSHULL from the forum. He will be telling his story. If you want to call in to the show, the number is (718) 508-9136.

Sounds good.

Tigershull seems to have been through a lot with his PFS, so will be interesting to hear how he managed to regain stability.

I see the link now.

Maybe at some point in the coming weeks you can get Dr. Irwig on to discuss his research.

Thanks.

Paul did in fact appear on the podcast this morning:

I caught it live.

It’s eerie how similar all these PFS experiences are. Extremely sad, as well.

But I’m happy to hear patients coming out and telling their stories in public.

Whats most important is how its all retrospective as well. When doctors claim it’s psychogenic, they believe people read up on the symptoms, panic, then the mind manifests those worries into reality. This is obviously untrue.

In actual fact the opposite occurs, as Paul and the host both described. You experience all these horrible symptoms without any idea of the cause, then only at a later date when you have all the evidence through sites like this do you realise that it can all be attributed to propecia. I went through the exact same pattern of sudden insomnia, panic attacks, vision problems.

Upload to youtube too.

id never even heard of pfs when one day i woke up feeling like a seventy yearold man, infact id had no internet on for 2 years previous to my crash,id never read or heard anything about pfs etc,one day fine next day fucked,i didnt know this site even existed till around a year after the crash when i finally got an internet connection back on and started trawling the net for some answers…

Nice job adding podcast to YouTube, Tigershull.

Too many PFS victims out there who say IF they had known what PFS was before taking Propecia, they never WOULD have taken it. It’s just not worth the risk.

So I hope as we all work to spread the word about the dangers of finasteride, fewer and fewer men wind up regretting their decision – because they never took the drug in the first place.
