Did you happen to maintain any of the benefits of trestolone? Does your penis still feel hollow like before or more full?
Don’t post every often but for what it’s worth Moonman congratulations on making the decision to get an implant and I’d love to hear you account when everything is completed. I’m currently in the process of getting to a place with my urologist/ endocrinologist where I will be asking for an implant in particular the coloplast titan.
Got to a point where I’ve had enough and just want the security of knowing I can have erection when I desire or the situation arises. 34 years old now and had this since 21 tried pretty much whatever treatment options I’ve research and what’s been suggested including injections, all the oral medications plus various other treatments some useful, some detrimental and most negligible benefit

@AaronF - I would say some of the benefits remain, but some of them have slipped away. So baseline is still better than pre-trest. I still have not used Viagra since taking Trest as I have not even tried to hook up with anyone since I am still going through a divorce. It does feel like Viagra, if I were to use it, would work better than before, that is just conjecture though.
@pearsesl - You will have to keep me updated on your journey. I have a long list of out of pocket costs from about 20 high level urologists I spoke with. Hopefully your insurance will cover yours.

No, PFS caused me to stay with her longer than I should have due to fear of being single and having to do the whole thing all over again with ED. She was not supportive of me getting an implant, nor was she willing to talk to any wives of guys who have had the operation. All of them I spoke to were once worried about it but ended up wishing their husbands did it sooner. I filed for divorce. Her loss.

If you still have good sensitivity/libido and find a very experienced surgeon I think the inplant is a good way to go.
Although many of us have no senisitivy or libido, then the inplant might not be what to aim for.

Sounds good to me and admire your courage and commitment to facing situation and doing what it takes to move past it. In case it’s of interest, although I do not have erectile dysfunction, I personally have found it next to impossible to maintain relationships due to my lack of sensitivity alone. Girls seem to as much enjoy sex for the giving aspect of it as the receiving. When a guy can’t come the “pointlessness” of sexual intimacy seems to really get to them. Just checking that you have fully accounted for that concern if you also have poor sensation, though I also trust you have.

That is a tough one to answer for me. I know I have lost some sensitivity as numbness and coldness was definitely a symptom and still is at times throughout the day. I have the hard flaccid symptoms but also can range to “large flaccid” as well. To answer the question, my sensitivity is not what it was pre-PFS, but it is functional at this point. I can orgasm and typically enjoy it. I think much of that improvement came from pelvic floor exercises, reverse kegels, and year and years of trialing supplements and sticking with what made me feel better. I feel that constriction of the IC muscle might play a part in the sensitivity issue.
Libido wise its pretty low. I can go months without masturbating. I see a hot chick, and I still get that rush of “damn she is hot”, but not that primal instinct you feel in your groins. Once I am into foreplay though, I get more in the mood. Especially with some alcohol in me.
My exGF (not wife), used to tell me that she felt I was robotic during sex, and honestly I was, I was going through motions without enjoyment. I really enjoyed sex with my ex wife though, even though she barely ever gave it up.
I really think that having an erection on demand that I know will not go down, will bring back some life to my dead sex life.
My implant date is July 25th

I am bionic. Today is Day 1.
DDay yesterday was somewhat rough. Not really the pain, just the effects from anesthesia.
The guy before me canceled, so I was moved up 2 hours. But for some reason my operation still didn’t start until the original time. I was at St Vinvent Ascension Hospital, wheras my previous vasectomy and cyst removal was at a surgery center. I wanted doc to video tape the operation, but hospital doesn’t allow (surgery center does).
Anesthesia makes me nauseous and i wonder if having it just 14 weeks ago made me even more nauseous. They gave me plenty of nausea meds prior and after, but still. I was rushed through post-op because my ride had plans (a chick that volunteered after I posted something on Reddit).
I ended up getting 20cm Titan, with a 1cm RTE on the left and a 1.5cm RTE on the right.
I don’t know how long I was in the OR, but it seemed like 1.5-2 hours. I may be wrong as it was likely shorter. Doc sent me an email saying "you did great man. Normally I would talk to family but I didn’t want to share any personal information with your ride, so I figured this was the next best thing. Take it easy this weekend, take care of the drain, and we’ll see you soon ".
My drain will get taken out Monday morning then I will drive 2 hours home. Since leaving the hospital, the drain has collected close to 200ml of blood, seems like a lot, but slowing down. I am on Tylenol, GabaPentin, Naproxen (Aleve… I am allergic to Celebrx), and an antibiotic.
I couldnt even type this post up yesterday, I was so drowsy and nauseous. I basically laid in bed, taking 30 minutes naps every hour. I slept ok, just woke up every 2 hours to pee.
One thing that sucks is my hotel room does not have a freezer in the mini-fridge. I’m going to see if they can bring me up some ice every few hours. I don’t really want to neander around with what seems to be a 40% erection sticking out.
As you can see in the picture. The head of my penis tends to lay to the left as it seems the cylinders dont go all the way into the glans. I am thinking that this is because I am not inflated very much. Doc said he was going to try to aggressively size me and he hopes that he never has to have me in surgery again. When I stand, the “flop” to the left seems to mostly correct itself. It also could just be that Titan cylinder being wider, do not fit perfectly into my smaller glans.
The other thing you will notice is a lot of bruising just under the glans on the left size. I wonder if he ran into some scar tissue there and is the swelling is sort of pulling the glans to the left? I’ll post a few more pics standing so you guys can see its not as bad that way.
Pain is very manageable so far, way less so than I expected. Definitely tender where my reservoir is though, low right stomach. Yesterday, I 100% realized why some guys start of by thinking “WTF did I do!?”
I am not an emotional person, but I actually had a 15 second cry. Idk if it was because my ED is going to finally be cured, or that the day just sucked, or that I am here doing this all alone, or that I am thankful for all you men here on FT for educating me about why the sucky day will lead to better days, or all the above. Either way, it was only the 2nd time I have cried in maybe 5 years. Sort of amazing to think that if all goes well, in 14-21 days I will be able to start having sex and not have to worry AT ALL about losing my erection.

Here is a pic of my penis, 17 hours after implant. I am guessing the bruising on the left is where he may have ran into scar tissue but totally just a guess. You can see a bit of the right cylinder just below the glans on the right, I assume that will fix itself as I cycle and swelling dies down.
I think I am about 30-50% pumped up right now. The Titan will grow in length and girth as i cycle it.

glad you got your Life back, man I wish I was as brave as you to make this last step. You have the advantage that you are located in the US where you have the best surgeons and Implants. You so deserve it. I am in the same situation. Also 12.5 years living with this shit. I am now 33 years old. You are the man and the result looks as far as I can judge as a layman amazing. Keep us once in a while up to date. Enjoy your new life.

You say 30-50 percent pumped ?? So what you can be like 12 inches ?? Does it expand you to your fullest potential prior to getting ED or does it actually make you bigger then before ?
Please let us know what impact being able to get a full solid erection has on the other sexual sides such as loss of sensation, poor orgasm and reduced ejaculation quality and quantity.

@5-alpha-victim I thought I was 60% pumped, my doctor’s nurse said he think I was more like 90%. I bet I was closer to 75% or 80%. An implant isn’t going to really help you gain size beyond what your natural erection is. It should get you back to the same size. If you are a grower (small flaccid) then your flaccid would def be bigger though. When you cycle (pump up 2x a day for 40 minutes) it helps increase size over time, but typically not beyond what you originally were, its rare guys get bigger than they were length wise. Girth wise, with the Titan, it can be more common to get bigger. I’ll post a longer update later.
