Im gonna have to agree with Orthogs on that matter…If you dont have desire or Libido, or even sensitivity, then its totally pointless to get this surgery…One might argues, that sometimes one should do it for their partner, in this case i will suggest the more reasonable and safer good old dildo/vibrators…Nothing can be more frustrating for a woman, if a man cant orgasm when he is giving his best and is hard…I can only think, its a bit different (or to say better to mentally accept, if you are only doing things aside from penetration)…
The girl i am having sex with does not know that I’m experiencing lack of sensitivity. Or that the orgasm was not pleasurable. It’s not pointless. You will still have established intimate relationship which needs to happen. How else can you establish relationship with a female? By cuddling ? Not going to work out
To be honest, i cant imagine a relationship with a girl right now, but if i do, then it must be soemthing mentally intimate, as i will be looking for someone to accompany me in my sh** of a life…If i found this girl, then i MUST be honest with her, and then you can give her what she needs through 100 other ways than penetrative sex…In fact, most girls dont even cum vaginally (Yep its true), so penetration for girls is a little bit overrated…
Now would i be wanting to go on surgery to have a one night stand with some girls (That i cant be honest with about my sexual situation) when i dont have much desire at the first place (OFCOURSE NOT)…I would rather read a book and stay alone or go out with friends who wont judge my sexual abilities.
Yes, technically that’s true, the majority of women reach orgasm through clit stimulation.
But that a girl can be satisfied without penetrative sex is … well, let’s just say rare.
True but why do girls still want to have sexual intercourse?
I’m standing by my claim that you can’t have a normal intimate relationship with a girl without having sex. It’s also a confidence issue. Girls see that you are not confident about sex on the first date . That’s usually enough to not allow things to progress. I’m 36 and have experienced this over and over again. As you get older and date older woman it does get easier though
If you can’t provide penetrative sex, in my opinion the chances of a relationship working are close to zero.
Agreed
Yes.
I mean, you may be able to find that one girl out of hundreds but … again odds are heavily stacked against you.
Actually with PFS Odds alone becuz of mental sides are practically zero, let alone sexual sides…I agree with you, that sex is important and penetration is important as well, but i think if i will either way not be able to enjoy it or feel it, i might as well put a strap on and do it (Im not saying i would do that, for me, its either im getting better or staying alone till death, which i hope then wont be long)…
Resolving to surgery, just to get a senseless dildo in the shape of my penis, is just a bit toooo much (Totally different for ppl with mere ED and not PFS)…
Yea . I’m sure I could have looked harder for that 1 out of 100. But decided to focus most of my energy on trying to recover so I would not need to.
Dam
I get the lack of sensitivity. But not like that severe
I think we are ruining this thread guys.
Not at all. We’re making him think twice before committing to irreversible surgery on his penis.
@TFD - I have no interest in microbiome transplants. I do not have any of the GI issues that some other PFSers have.
@5-alpha-victim - A lot of guys that have had this done have reported that they have the best orgasms of their life with an implant. Apparently, being able to stay erect has a huge influence or orgasms strength or length.
@pete - I am very aware of the risks, but yes, for anyone else considering, you must weigh the options. Infection rate is very low, less than 1% if you find a top notch doctor. Its even lower if you are not obese or have diabetes. Typically, the implant is needed to be removed until the infections subsides, they place a malleable implant in for a few months, and then will replace an inflatable implant once everything is ready again. These implants have antibiotic coatings which help immensely.
@Exsexgod - I’ve tried all forms of TRT for years as well as pills and injections. Pills work, but not always, they also work less the more I use them. Injections just suck and can cause plaque and Peyronies. Your penis will not shrink with an implant. In fact, over time it can grow as you “cycle” the implant.
@silentpain89 & @orthogs - your cynicism is appreciated as a healthy balance is always needed. But I do find it interesting how you guys have never had this operation but yet speak as if you know how things will turn out, without having any sense of optimism that this might be a healthy option for a # of PFSers. Edit: as I read more of your guys’ posts, I realize that you actually don’t understand much about how this operation works and what the outcomes are. Again, I appreciate your thoughts, but I would much rather read your thoughts once you first educated yourselves more on the subject beyond just a few minutes of a Google search. I’ve had 7+ appointments with two separate high volume implanters. At this point we get your thoughts, but please stop posting them so it doesn’t convolute this thread.
PROS
- Stay erect for as long as possible, orgasms and stay erect to continue if you wish
- Never have to worry about not being able to get or stay erect again
- Visual appearance of your penis will remain the same
- Gain size over time in length and girth in many situations
- Fix any Peyronie’s or curvature issues
- Many men report regaining some of their natural erection state in time, i.e. being able to get some bloodflow such as morning chubbies back
- Glans (head of penis) typically still gets engorged if it did prior
- A different type of device depending on your size, age, situation, etc (Titan, CX, LGX, Reginicon)
- Many men report that their depression lifts and they feel like a new man with a newfound love for life
- Not being afraid of flirting with a girl or wife ever again out of fear of failure
- Not having to worry about timing or side effects of pills or injections
- Takes about 30-60 seconds to go from flaccid to fully erect. Single men report pumping bathroom, during foreplay, etc without mates noticing anything at all.
- Sensitivity, look, feel, etc. remain with an implant in. It is still your same penis. Think of getting a hip implant, it is still your hip, it still feels and functions normal.
CONS
- It is a surgery with risks, primarily around 1% chance of infection
- Organic erections are no longer feasible once you get an implant
- Devices typically last 12-20 years, so you will need a new one put in at some point (revisions are easier than original operations).
- Can not have sex for 2-4 weeks after operation as you recover. Usually off work for 1 week.
- There is a pump in your scrotum, if you like women playing with your balls, they will notice “a 3rd ball”
- The Titan is the strongest of the devices, which also means that the flaccid state will have a bit of a bulge in your pants. Some would consider this a “pro” but I consider it a “con”
- If you don’t find a high-volume surgeon, you may lose some size
- if your penis is completely numb, then adding in an implant will likely not make it less numb
You don’t have to.
Just, please, invest some time looking into it.
The big pfs Problem is that the erectil tissues are still function, but there ist not enough receptor input to get a 100 % erection any more.
(I know, best thing would be to accept the situation and to join a buddhist or hinduistic or christian community to feel another spirit than hedonic. But deep INSIDE we all hope to be cured)
My questions to you all:
- Did anyone get a 100 % erection after Androgene Treatment by higher androgene level.
1.a Viagra / Cialis works better with Higher androgene Level? - Who else used Injections. Horryble feeling ever or pleasure
sometimes? - A penile prothesis as the last resort? My question, what ist if Operation fails?
Well, this is certainly a reasonable thread so far. I sincerely want the surgery and everything to go well for you, if you go through with it.
- If you don’t find a high-volume surgeon, you may lose some size
Do you mean the lesser experienced surgeons can end up causing loss of size?
Yes, they can under size you. The tips of the cylinders should go right into the glans of the penis. A good surgeon will size you correctly, to make sure you end up the same size as before or bigger (after you cycle you should gain back size over months). My urologist is fairly aggressive with his sizing. I am currently 17cm long, I expect that I will be back to that size, if not bigger within 6 months. First month, I might lose 1-2cm. I don’t know my girth size off the top of my head, but girthwise I’d say I am skinnier/normal in girth rather than big. Because I am getting the Coloplast Titan device, I expect to actually get bigger girth than I have ever had.
