Maximum milk thistle

I am still having great cognitive benefits and sleep benefits myself. I do plan on taking a hiatus and monitoring progress in the near future, just for expirimental purposes. To be fair though, one weeks use does not seem long enough to make a fair judgment. With that said, I support and respect anybodies decision on how they treat themselves. Good luck fellas.

updates?

Initial improvements but not worth the hype

@CHI

I am still having cognitive and sleep benefits, and I have actually popped two spontaneous in the past two days, although they were not the throbbers they used to be. As of last night, I went down to two pills instead of three, and I will then go down to one, and then none, and monitor the overall situation the best I can and take it from there. Overall, I am very, very happy with the MMT so far. Still, I do have to admit that Awor knows something we do not, as he explains a product which reduces our AR signal would make us feel better for a little bit. Who knows man, so far so good, a huge difference really. A lot of people have quit I think. I wonder if your recent recovery had something to do with taking a product with Saw Palmetto in it? Again, who knows!!! If anything else worth mentioning comes up, I will be sure to share.

@JOETZ

How are feeling my man? Thanks.

Hang on everyone, keep fighting.

It’s an interesting point and I would like to hear input from Awor on this too.

I actually took prosta-q that mainly contains quercetin but also SP. I did not take much at all, but did a stint shortly after Christmas of maybe 2-3 a day for 3 days, trying to swing myself back to normality. It did not work and I stopped taking them. I haven’t taken them since. Now, my most recent recovery lasted roughly between the 9th Jan and 15th Jan, give or take. It was a pretty decent all round recovery too, with a great release of most (if not all) symptoms. Could it be that my body went through the same sort of cycle that it did post propecia??? In that after 1 month after cessation of a 5-ar inhibitor, I had a 1 week recovery, like many, before crashing again. Of course the duration after cessation here is much less, approx 2 weeks or slightly more; but then again so was the dosage and timeframe. I just don’t know. I have to say since this recovery dissipated, I had some return of mental symptoms that have been gone for a while. I’d say i returned to months 3-6 for a short period. Things seemed to have stabilised now, but not exactly good right this minute.

This pretty much proves that awor is on the right track with his studies. right now, i feel like total shit. don’t know if it was the mmt or not. i am having massive panic attacks. I’m trying to stave off these suicidal thoughts. its getting harder and harder. i can’t wait for awors team to publish his results. don’[t know how much longer i can take this. save my life awor

I am really sorry to hear this. Your experience sounds what I went through, taking “regular” MT. I pretty much crashed after taking MT, just like I did after taking fin. Is yours a similar experience? Could you please elaborate a little on your current state?

After being pretty OK for over a year before taking MT, I also went through suicidal depression, sleeplessness and a general increase in all of my symptoms, as documented in my MT thread. What I can tell you, is that the sleep/panic problems got much better again within about a month, and depression has also improved again after about 4 months. As difficult as this may feel right now, just try your best to ignore and accept it for now, knowing that it will lift again after a while. I just tried to tell my self to just screw it, and try not to care about how I feel at the moment. This helped me get through the worst part again. Just try to hang in there for a while now.

This is weird. I was doing much better on MMT, especially in the sleep and cognitive departments. 5 days ago, I tried to weed down to 2 pills and last night only took one, and sure enough I have felt just horrible. I am back to full insomnia and cannot sleep at night. I will continue to try and taper down and see my results, which was my plan.

@SECONDAMMENDMENT

I am so sorry man. One thing that really helped my depression symptoms was taking fish oil like Mew said. Pills did not work, but oil has helped. Hang in there man, you will feel good again.

This stuff is not suitable for us. I’m in the midst of some of its estrogenic effects; hoping to be free of them soon.

I’m doing well on this stuff, had a massive improvement in the beginning with near 100% recovery in all symptoms across the board. Since then it’s lost some of its effectiveness but I am well into my second bottle now. I need this for my sleep, without it I just don’t sleep well. I pop 3 pills before I go to bed every night. I tried to stop taking it and got massive insomnia and blurry vision and felt horrible. For me it helps and I’m going to stay with it. I’m sorry some of you guys didn’t have the good results I had. I guess our bodies are all somewhat different.

Just an update on my progress…I mentioned I had estrogenic effects from mmt so I quit…but I decided to try guggul lipid just for the hell of it because a guy on another thread on this forum said it helped him http://www.propeciahelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6002 so far after a week it’s been pretty helpful without the estro sides. it doesn’t really boost my libido a whole lot but man it gives gives me rock hard erections and im able to get it up more for some reason and im able to keep going. great stuff. also gives me good energy much like mmt.

just thought I should pass it along.

@JOETZ

Same here, I have tried to weed down and my sleep has gone from much better back to total hell. I have actually been popping spontaneous erections the last few days though, before MMT this was not possible.

Lennon why are you trying to come off it?

Second ammendment are you still taking or if you quit, when did you quit?

I was on it for a week and quit a week ago or so. Felt slightly better on it but decided it wasn’t worth it. Now I feel like shit.

Insomnia
Panic attacks
Depression
Sexually I bottomed out
muscle twitches (the one PFS symptom I didn’t have until now)[*]

@TIM1911

It was my intention to wean down and see the status of my symptoms without any supplements.

Well the study i posted shows that igE is suppressed by milk thistle so its a dollar each way as to why members are having this happen to themselves, considering the igE blood tests returned. I guess we will find out soon with you second ammendment (igE test).

any updates. has every body stopped MT?

I quite just a few days ago, and I am now feeling like hell. Man oh man, what a dilemma. I suppose I should just fight through it. I was really hoping the fog would not come back as thick as before, but it has returned with a vengance.

Are you able to go into anymore detail about this Awor? i assume you are still not familiar with my username and activity on the boards as you probably don’t have much free time and get lots of PM’s. I am repeating myself but, i am the guy that re took finasteride in August 2011 and made a profound recovery in the space of 1 night, which lasted for 1 week. I also took dutasteride recently as it was paid for by a user of this forum who contacted me informing me that it had helped him make a recovery from the persistent side effects of generic finasteride. Dutasteride eventually had me feeling much better and i have had two major upswings since stopping it.

Awor, if you look at my history you will see that i have made a number of temporary recoveries but the only one that i KNOW i induced is the finasteride one. It was night and day - going back on that drug was like a light had just switched on and everything was back to normal. Right now (3 weeks off dut) i am definitely still in the ‘pfs zone’ but i have some very good days. My skin is looking like my 14 year old brothers too, who i can safely assume has raging hormones going through puberty.

So, i am really interested to know what you found in the research given my own experiments on myself.
