I'm cured

CD-
In your opinion…what are your thoughts on the concept of carb backloading (CB) with pizza, burgers, even ice cream. Believe it or not, that is what John Keifer claims is acceptable in his protocol. I know you previously stated you started the CB after being recovered so not sure you can do anything other than speculate. For those of us doing the paleo diet & HIIT regimen, I’m sure we would love to be told that pizza would be ok as CB after HIIT days. BUT, the reality is we’re all in a different boat here from bodybuilders & fitness buffs now aren’t we so I think I know the answer already. I just wondered if the positive side of pizza as CB would offset the anti-paleo ingredients, i.e. cheese, dough (gluten)? (I know ice cream is probably a BIG NO LOL.)

Any insight would be appreciated.

Nice. Not only is this statement sexist, but fuck, why would you write that on a forum where guys are dealing with estrogen dominance and gynecomastia issues??? I’m guessing you didn’t mean to it be that harsh, but damn, know your audience!

I don’t know man, it seems like you’ve managed to be unbelievably inspiring and totally demoralizing in the same thread.

You complain about the thread getting off track, yet you entertain anyone who does so with a response. Simply ignore them and PM the mods asking for the deletion of posts. There’s no need to blast people in “public,” especially since most of us are “on edge” much of the time.

I’ve noticed a lot of rude comments on this site; I would think people would be a lot more understanding and empathetic.

Good advice about not entertaining off topic posts. I think I’ll start with this one.

To all those criticizing Cdnuts for his choice of words are really missing the mark here and forgetting your goals. He doesn’t need to respond to any of our posted questions but does so out of respect for this forum and those who helped him on his road to recovery. I have nothing but thanks for him. As long as useful information is shared, I really dont give a f… on how its said.

Mind you, we are all in this situation because of a personal choice made and I firmly believe that this choice resonated from fear and insecurity. These criticisms are nothing more than an expression of these personal faults that still haven’t been address by the poster. The original problem is still there - YOU. I said this to myself but in a constructive way so dont view this as an attack.

I for one truely believe his program works and that he is cured. Lately, I’ve been getting extremely hard spontaneous errections after 2 1/2 months on the program. Its like my dick is leading my brain again. I’m still a ways away but I continue learning and modifying my approach by the level of response from my body.

Thank you CDNuts, this forum and to all those who constructively contribute.

Always clean, always gluten free.

You responded, which is entertaining. Try again with this post.

No. I am IN this situation because of these four things: The understandable feeling that I wanted to keep my hair, Merck lying, a naive doctor, and a misplaced trust in authority figures.

I will get OUT of it because of me.

For those looking for a good HIIT workout, try Darren Sprole’s treadmill workout: thepostgame.com/blog/trainin … eadmill-10

I’ve been doing it for a week–with much less intensity and intervals of course–and feel the good kind of exhaustion I haven’t felt in a while.

I’m always looking for new High Intensity workouts. If anyone has any, please share here.

@CDnuts

I don’t want to be rude but since you are recovered, what are you doing in this forum man?

Sticks and stones will break my bones, motherfucker. Do I sound like a woman now?
I’m glad you agree it’s time to cut the 5-year-old bullshit, cdnuts, especially since you’re in your mid-thirties.
Back to the topic.

You seem to deviate from the Paleo Diet when backloading, i.e. rice, quinoa, GF waffles/pasta, and that’s cool with me. Do you eat beans or oats at all? And how important for you is fasting in the morning as per Kiefer’s protocol?

I’m currently fasting, and I plan on going for 21-30 days, depending on personal obligations (impending employment). I plan on breaking my fast with celery and parsnip juice, which contain androstenone and androsterone, the closest natural things to what’s in AndroHard (btw, I found AHv3 on ebay.it, but the guy wanted to deal with the transaction on his personal website, which was a no-go). It won’t have AH’s added bioflavonoids and MCTs that extend bioavailability, but I can sip it throughout the day.

I know you only added backloading after you healed, but if you could go back and do it over, would you immediately implement a backloading nutritional schedule after fasting or just wait a few weeks? I think this might work if I didn’t work out for a while, so as to reacquire some body fat, but atm I’m not sure. I’m also hopefully about to get a job as a waiter. I’d go into work in the evening, but I’d be walking around a lot. Would this reduce my gains a lot if I lifted beforehand, or would I have to do some intense cardio? I’d be backloading during breaks spread throughout the night in short 3-minute intervals with GF waffles and maple syrup, brown sugar sweet potatoes, or something creative with bananas/plantains. Just wondering if my evening energy expenditure would interfere with the backloading protocol/philosophy.

I’m also thinking of adding BCAAs, Glutamine, and Taurine. Pure powder, nothing artificial. I don’t NEED these, but I think they’ll help and I don’t think they’ll screw me up. And you didn’t practice a strict Paleo Diet, do you think Hydrolyzed Whey or Whey Isolate are okay? I’m trying to source some silk protein, but haven’t found any luck yet. Once my energy is up, I plan on lifting M,W,F and Reverse Pyramid HIIT T/Th, or both T and Th if I can handle it. My weekends would be reserved for waiting only.

Also, I’m still feeling out the Test-Boosters/PCT aspect of your recovery protocol, but I don’t think it should be that hard once I go over it a little more. Meditating and painting shouldn’t be too hard.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure I’m good with this stuff, I’m basically running it by you to get your opinion.

Cdnuts, thank you very much for sharing your story and for still being here, your recovery is very inspiring and is giving hope to a lot of people. And I’m very grateful that despite being cured you still take the time to visit this forum and give advice.

Please ignore those silly losers who, despite having this serious condition, bother complaining with you for a few words here and there taken out of context. They don’t make sense to me, I hope for them that this is PFS symptom to be cured, and a their character is actually not as miserable.

elijah, I really couldn’t agree more.

Unless somebody is putting you down here, don’t put them down. That’s what makes you a loser here.

cdnuts, you recovered before you started CBL, what was your carb intake like then? Did you eat many potatoes/sweet potatoes, bananas/plantains, other gluten-free, grain-based carbs before you recovered, or was your body mostly accustomed to ketosis?

Hey everyone,

So I found a recipe for some really cool “hormone boosting, muscle building, fat melting ice cream” that’s compatible with a paleo diet (that includes grass-fed butter/ghee) and cdnuts’ recovery protocol. Dave Asprey, author of the Bulletproof Diet, used it for helping himself and his infertile/sub-fertile wife conceive. This would be great for using in concert with our weekly biorhythm. Mine peaks on Thursdays :sunglasses:

Definitely worth checking out.

What sorts of things did you do to overcome the feeling of guilt/regret from getting PFS and the thought of not having a future, thinking you’re going to have PFS forever? I know you said you began work on recovery immediately but there must have been times when it felt pretty hopeless.

Look at this forum. One retard calls a recovered, former PFS sufferer a motherfucker and then asks for his opinion on what he should do. Maybe you really are a woman. Some other retard comes to this retards defense and asks what the recovered, former PFS sufferer is still doing on this forum if he’s recovered. I wouldn’t blame him if he doesn’t respond back again. Just from what he’s already stated in his first posts, you have pretty much everything you need to know to recover.

Look man, “woman” comments are especially profane here; finasteride is actually used in clinical settings for sex reassignment therapy. The motherfucker comment was posture. He virtually punches me, I virtually sock him back, then we agree that at the end of the day, we understand the heinous battle we’ve both had to fight and go have a beer together. In spirit, at least. Women hold grudges, men move on. If cdnuts is a man, he’s moved on. I’ve moved on. I thought I demonstrated that by continuing on with the topic, but this is me telling you. My multiple mentions of my appreciation for his return to the forum should demonstrate where I’m truly coming from as well. I mean, shit, the mods allowed us to say these things, so it’s really up to us to work it out. A lot of other people still need a little clarification, and I’m no exception. I’m here because, like a lot of us, I’m not going to give up. I’m down to shake hands and get back to the grindstone if you are.

My $0.02

This site has members calling each other women, complainers, whiners, silly losers, and retards (and that’s just this thread!).

Why should we ever expect outsiders to respect and empathize with PFS, this site, and its members if we can’t even respect and empathize with each other?

^+1. I will NEVER understand how people get in to bickering matches on this forum. It blows my mind. We have all come down with a terrible, life altering illness of which the root causes are virtually unknown. We are on our own. This should be a forum where we converge to talk about possible treatments and what has/has not worked for us in the past to help build a better understanding of this thing and NOTHING else. Especially not a place for people to get in to ego wars. That kind of BS should never be a part of any thread here.

Agreed. That was the first time I’ve ever employed any offensive remarks here, and though I believe I had my reasons, I’m not necessarily proud of it.

So who all is officially giving this protocol a try?

Based on cd’s story, I’ve given gluten free a chance. It’s only been two weeks and I can feel a pretty big physical and mental difference. I look forward to trying the rest of the protocol and hope to hear how it’s working for others.

I can’t believe this, I’m sorry but this post has got to be a joke. Water fasting for TWO WEEKS, WTF…
This is a quick way to die…
Not only can you dilute your blood, you can flush all the salt and minerals from your body and cause brain swelling.

Treat your low testosterone if you have it, and take a multivitamin and ZMA tablet every day
