I am on proviron 200mg/day for 9 days

Hi @terih71214, can you post a member story so the community can better understand your personal situation, symptoms, and reasons for participation. Thank you.

What happened with your protocol?

Still havenā€™t received the proviron Iā€™m hoping it comes in soon

Tinnitus seems worse today and I couldnā€™t sleep last night. Anxiety seems higher, definitely do not feel androgenic on this, which is how normal people feel on it.

How much are you taking every day?
And are you positive itā€™s solid stuff not fake stuff?
Itā€™s an important quest because so much stuff out there is ā€œbunk gearā€

Hope things go better

Iā€™m taking 200mg a day after breakfast. Had sex with my wife earlier and it was the best in 3 years, so it may be working. I think my stuff is legit but obviously you can never be 100% sure with UGL gear.

2 weeks in now 5 to go. Bad brain fog over the last few days, low libido, penis and scrotum are cold all day, short term memory also seems worse than normal pfs baseline. As was pointed out, this is to be expected so not concerned, Iā€™ll tough it out.

How is fatigue? Any issues with heart rate as well? Pretty sure I got scammed on the proviron I ordered it never came in so gotta look for another source thanks for doing this itā€™s brave of you!

Iā€™ve never had heart issues during this for which Iā€™m fortunate, I know some of you guys have. Iā€™m also seem to be dreaming again, mostly nightmares but at least its something. Fatigue is okay. I have no motivation to do anything, have to really force myself to get off the couch lol.

Good to hear I literally havenā€™t had a single dream since my crash so yeah definitely positive I would assume even if they are nightmares

Donā€™t forget broā€¦if youā€™re taking that much DHT youā€™re going to drive down your estrogen which has its own set of side effects. Of which is lethargy.

Iā€™m syre your knew that but itā€™s the first thing I thought of. Maybe temper the dose? Or come off for a few days and let things balance out?

You said you felt good a few days ago. Maybe that was the perfect time to slow down and balance it.

Just lookin out

Yeah Iā€™m the same, 3 and a half years without a dream lol, crazy what this condition can do.

Iā€™ll stick with it for now, but if it gets too much Iā€™ll drop the dose. Just trying to follow pal. I did a 4 week cycle of androsterone about 2 years a go which is similar to proviron and had similar symptoms. Had a nice snap back about 2 weeks after the cycle, it was the only thing Iā€™ve done during pfs which got rid of the dark circles under my eyes, unfortunately it didnā€™t stick.

Based on everything Iā€™ve learned about Proviron, the crappy feeling for a mono-therapy run like this is to be expected. There are basically 2 roads to take, and Iā€™m torn between them.

The first route is the Pal protocol like Chapman is doing: a Proviron-only, mother of all misery run. Here, you get a 2-fold punch in the gut: the extremely high androgens (can be a bad feeling for PFS guys), PLUS the reduced E which will bring any man down. PFS already has some of us so fatigued we canā€™t get off the couch, so this is really brutal. The upside is that if you can make it through the whole 6-8 weeks (and the recovery period), I think it has the best chance of actually reversing PFS like it for Pal. My hat is off to the guys that can make it through this. The mental stamina required might be comparable to getting through some sort of special forces training.

The other route is using Proviron sort of like a bodybuilder would, with a high-ish amount of testosterone. Thereā€™s that narrow range of high T and DHT levels that brings some guys back to their old selfā€¦temporarily. It canā€™t really be run long term, so when they come off they essentially go back to square one or close to it. My thoughts on this have been that the high T levels either during or at the time of Proviron withdrawal (Iā€™m hoping itā€™s the latter) prevent the desired AR desensitization or ā€œanti-crashā€ that we need.

My Proviron was supposed to be in last week but was held up in customs. Itā€™s finally moving again, and should definitely be here within the next day or so. I plan on starting on Sunday. I think Iā€™m going to have to use a little TRT with it. Iā€™ve been feeling pretty shitty lately, and I do have to work and study (which is already really hard), so I canā€™t afford a crashed E situation on top of it. I will try to keep my TRT as low as I can possibly tolerate throughout the Proviron cycle and am thinking of quitting the TRT a week prior to the end of it, with no pct. By that time, Iā€™ll have a couple of weeks off from school.
