A long-term PFS sufferer says he is cured from the disease after undergoing this protocol

You notice any high estrogen symptoms?

I’ve noticed nothing new in that regard, but I already have high estrogen based on an ultra sensitive estrogen test. I don’t feel it getting higher.

Well I guess that’s not a bad sign hopefully you’ll feel something during the 10 week mark as long as your not getting side effects its worth continuing the treatment imo.

Still too early, imo,I am keeping my hopes high for you. I will try to get off my AD before starting the protocol, trying to have my natural baseline beforehand. Maybe waterfast before as well, do it fully detoxed, but we’ll see, we plan n God laughs

I’m 8 injections into the hCG protocol, which is almost a quarter of the way into the 3 month point, where JoeKools started seeing improvements. I’m curious who else may have started the same protocol, and if we should be comparing notes.

I’m also taking the supplements JoeKools suggested, and patiently waiting for any sign of improvement.

When me and Dr. Bruhin discusssed HCG, he mentioned 90 days as being the turning point as well, as far as when you would start noticing changes.

Thanks for the update. Good luck!

Hey, @NewYorker!

I know we are all too anxious with your results, as I am still looking for other evidence that this protocol worked ( not sure how many in the other forums have had improvements, please share an updated list if you have ).

However, is it not too soon? As I understand it, Joekool started to see improvements after the 10th week (30th injection-ish), and you are only 8 injections in as you are now, or 18 days according to your post here.

@trav please feel free to share more about this conversation or any updated list or information you might have on this protocol!

Really rooting for you and looking forward to keeping in touch!

It’s soon, yes. I’m eager, yes. I want to believe this hCG protocol will work, yes. But I do know there are differences in hCG between brands and how it’s formulated, and differences in how it’s administered. For example, I’m using hCG from my doctor, and it’s sourced from a lab in Florida. I don’t know how it’s made (organic or man made). I’m also taking injections with the same length needle JoeKool’s did, but in the abdomen, not in the thigh, which he did. Supposedly there is no difference.

If others are on the same protocol, I think it would be important to share details, in case one hCG brand works and the other doesn’t, or if the injection site matters (my doctor says it doesn’t), or if there is something else I’m missing.

I’ve also have PFS for 13+ years, and am also taking Wellbutrin. I’m not sure if any of this will have an impact on the results of hCG, but if others are also taking it and reporting, we’d have a broader picture of what’s happening. Unfortunately, we don’t seem to have a medical professional guiding us along.

NewYorker, On this Sunday morning I pray for you my friend.

Lord, your Word speaks promises of healing and restoration and I thank you for the miracles you still perform today. Today I claim those promises over my friend. I believe in the healing power of faith and prayer and I ask you to begin your mighty work in the life of my friend. Please reach down and surround him with supernatural peace and strength and give him the faith to believe that all things are possible through you. Protect him from Satan’s lies and discouragement and let his miraculous healing begin.

Amen.

Thank you very much. Today happens to be my birthday, and to have received your words and encouragement is very special. Surly there is emotional impact that effects treatments, and I do have faith, and faith this will work. While all good things do often come to an end, I do hope and pray all horrible things do too, and we soon find relief from this misery we all suffer.

I’m 10 injections in, as of yesterday, and am slowly tapering off the Wellbutrin to not cloud any effects. I’ve also had interim test results taken, and will report back when they are available. These tests should validate anything I think or feel.

Until then, I continue to wish my PFS brothers the best, and to keep the faith that we will eventually overcome this.

I’ve been consistently taking hCH injections of 250iu about every other day, for about 30 days, and for the last two weeks, I have managed to inject intramuscularly into my deltoids instead of subcutaneously in my stomach.

I’ve also weened off Wellbutrin, not so much because I wanted to, but because I ran out. I’ve also finished the first vial of hCG, and should have a replacement today. I’m curious if my doctor will give me the same brand or not.

I’m only noticing very minor differences in my testicles, which appear looser, and not that tight sack as before, slightly more muscle tone in my arms (I have not worked out) and seemingly longer eyebrows, which were very thin before. I’ve also noticed more hair on my upper thighs, which were pretty bare before.

Maybe these are unrelated, or wishful thinking on my part, but they seem different. Semen is just about as watery as before, and there is still no orgasm sensation. Erection “quality” is just as bad, so there is no change there yet. My face may be slightly more oily, based on what I’m seeing of my evening face wipes. There was next to nothing before, and now there is a tiny bit of oil. This may be a result of the vitamins I’m taking as part of the protocol, so I’m not getting my hopes up, as much as I want to.

I realize I’m only about a 1/6 of the way in, and about a 1/3 of where JoeKool started noticing improvements, and am curious if any others have started hCG.

Separately, I went to another doctor who detected hCG on my labs (I didn’t tell her I was taking it) and she referred me to a Urologist to rule our testicular cancer, because males don’t usually have hCG in their bloodstream. What this does tell me is the hCG I’m taking is real, and making it to my bloodstream.

I will be seeing a Urologist she referred me to, who’ll surely request a testicular sonogram, and we’ll see what that shows. Also, at the end of the month, I’m having minor shoulder surgery, so I’m only injecting into the “good” shoulder for now, and likely the next 2 months.

If anyone else is taking hCG, it would be terrific to compare notes, especially if it proves helpful, which I hope it does.

Do you know if HCG can help with low libido, penile shrinkage and ed?

At the 250iu dosage level of hCG I’m on, it’s to condition the body, and not deliver immediate results for libido, shrinkage and ED. Other than what I’ve listed, and possibly a small but noticeable improvement in memory and mood, I haven’t seen any sexual improvements, except that I’m “observing” more women, not with desire, but with hope that when this is over, I can appreciate them. After more than a decade of being sexually “dead”, and honestly not having really enjoyed or appreciated it before, I’d be happy with even a 50% recovery.

I would like to know who else on this forum is on the hCG protocol. It would be helpful for us to compare and document notes. I’m sticking firm to it, and dedicated to following through. I’m logging everything I can, and really really want this to work. If it does, maybe the seemingly ever ending pain we all suffer can eventually come to an end.

If (and hopefully when) the point in the protocol comes where there are additional improvements, I will go to whatever doctor or endocrinologist or urologist who acknowledges PFS to document everything, in hopes it’s repeatable and can help us. I’ve already got so many labs, that doctors are suspicious, since now thorough electronic records, many can see the lab, medical and prescription results of others. Given that, there is potentially a research opportunity there, but that’s another topic.

I don’t need another quack urologist who says “I can write you a script for cialis” or “have you considered antidepressants”. They truly need to be exposed. Just like there is a YELP for Doctor reviews, there needs to be the same for PFS.

I know there is no immediate cure for pfs. I was just asking if this is possible with hcg.

I’m sorry if I came off inappropriately. We can only hope that one day something can reverse PFS as quickly as it came. Until then, I’ll happily take 6 months to cure this misery.

Hey, @NewYorker! Rooting for you, keep us updated! how to get endos to cooperate with us in these protocol attempts, if it is sth they never tried? Would be great to know cured patients from those doctors who claim to help PFS, and at what rate do they do it, so then maybe docs could connect and explain instead of taking my word for it?

On another forum, there is discussion of a doctor who supposedly has 15 “success” stories. I haven’t been able to confirm any of that, but have an appointment with a top Endocrinologist (Dr. Jackness, in NYC) in November. I’ll be 3 months into this protocol by then, and will share everything with him.

I’m trying to get additional lab work between now and then. The foundation has a list of doctors, but don’t know how many of them, if any, are suggesting an hCG protocol.

I am a bit surprised I haven’t heard of others here trying what worked for Joe Kool.

Isn’t hcg basically synthetic LH? Meaning it will eventually suppress you just like TRT? My urologist suggested clomid before trying anything else
