That’s the one !

Thanks @Sawproblemo,

I really only wanted to see it because I wanted to know what a list of “almost every food” looked like and it’s quite a long way from that.

I’m not vouching for the accuracy of the list, or saying that people should or shouldn’t eat those things but you could avoid those foods if you were paying attention without suffering major distress.

What’s interesting, I think, is that the psychology is that avoiding those things to see if it helps is too much trouble but a substance that we know has harmed people significantly, is worth a try. That might be an insight into the levels of understanding of how bad this condition can be.

People with some sexual problems that can be fixed with viagra are pretty much the lucky ones here. Incredible to think that, I know, because if you’re one of those people, you feel like your life has been ruined. But remember, people here who have killed themselves haven’t done so because they couldn’t get an erection without a pill, it is because their entire lives have actually been ruined. They’ve seen their bodies physically break down, their ability to sleep removed, their ability to think clearly be taken away, amongst many other things.

That is what you’re risking by trying substances with a cavalier attitude. Any of the severe cases would swap places with you.

Personally, I’d say that if you’re going to try something, give avoiding some things a try for a while instead of adding things which have caused people to get worse.

I dont think avoiding things is a cure, but I will say that in 2 years I’ve gone from practically no sleep, complete impotence, shrinkage, bouts of severe depression, fatigue, dry skin, painful prostate and genitals, panic attacks, a racing heartbeat, difficulty concentrating and no libido, to essentially being able to live a comparatively normal (but still impaired) life and the only thing I did was avoid foods that hair loss websites said I should eat to help keep my hair. I think there’s something in avoiding foods, but I also think it’s a long road that, reading this forum, most don’t have the patience for. I also don’t think it’ll work for everyone, maybe even most people.

I don’t write about this much because people get angry about it, but I think you’re wasting your time and risking your health with these supplements and diets. I have read almost the entire forum and don’t think you can add something to your diet to fix this. My first post in this topic outlines a story that we’ve seen play out over and over. Much like people taking propecia - people think it won’t happen to them.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.
