Short Term Use - Major Side Effects - Recovering?

I don’t think these reasons are true. All I know girls have far less DHT and testosterone yet I never read a single post about negative reaction from DHT from FTMs. They apply it and successfully grow their micro pensis and also get good beard. just visit any of their forums.

It Depends On the dose… High doses will cause testicular shrinkage

we are not talking about testicular size here. I am saying DHT application by all means have no negative effects on clitoris and it becomes bigger and changes to a small penis after some weeks of application. But we are reacting negatively to DHT application. Almost all who used DHT cream report the same thing, penis shrinks badly or becomes numb.

Not sure havent tried it. I’m sure if you Injected dht that wouldn’t be the case. How much are you applying? i’m pretty certain that small doses would help with sexual function. DHT is a very strong hormone of course it’s going to react strongly on female gentalia. If your gentiles are going numb from this stuff i think it’s because your using to much.

  • Notes for Story -

Treatment is working great.
Though i’ve been experiencing some symptoms which i believe are completely unrelated to my hormones.
I was experiencing visual disturbances and was starting to think I had pituitary tumor of some sort. I let it go.
Recently i’ve been experiencing burning tingling sensation on my back, yellows in the whites of my eyes, struggling to maintain an erection. My girlfriend asked me the other night why my pupils where so dilated and commented that the where looking extremely green. I left it.
She commented again another night, so i decided to do some research.
I have a feeling that some where down stream from finasteride and all the hormonal issues i had candida over growth. THIS IS DOWNSTREAM im not saying a finasteride tablet is made out of candida and it gave me it.
Im suggesting that my immune system is low and now i may have it.

  • Rant -

First off. Propecia should not be sold as hairloss drug, it an anti androgen designed for old men with prostate issues, who no longer shag so this isn’t an issue for them.

Propecia is a 5ar2 inhibitor which decreases DHT. It isnt an alien infestation which turns your ass into a hemorrhoid, it doesn’t give you pudenal neuropathy, it does not change your sexual orientation unless ur taking it for that reason, it doesn’t change which side of the bed you sleep on, and no being left or right handed does not change whether you got PFS or not.

PFS! It is an initial reaction to the suppression of DHT. That’s what the drug is designed to do, inhibit the production of our most potent hormone. It’s like you take estrogen away from a women or decrease it shes going to start growing facial hair and get masculine features and side effects look at menopause.
DHT is supressed -----> you suffer sexual side initially due to decrease in our most potent hormone —> you crash because your body is confused and tries to find balance —> hormones drop you get things like brain fog…hmm lets see your brain is a tissue and reacts to hormones.

I’m not downplaying that this drug causes side effects its given me 5 months of hell. But everything is donwnstream from a reduction or imbalance of hormones.

As men age their hormone levels of all types begin to gradually decline naturally. Many men will not be bothered by this process but some will be affected negatively. Though men actually have both male and female hormones, the primary sex hormone in men is testosterone, and side effects of low hormone levels in men are likely due to falling testosterone levels affecting a number of body systems.

Sexual Functioning

Declining hormone levels will affect the male sexual organs due to falling testosterone levels, which allowed for the development and maintenance of the male reproductive system during puberty and later life. Side effects of low hormone levels may include shrinking testes, loss of sexual desire, inability to achieve or maintain an erection and the lessening of spontaneous erections (morning erections). Sexual decline may contribute to some mental disturbances, including loss of interest in normal activities, depression and decline in self-esteem.

Decreased Muscle Mass

The androgen group of hormones, including testosterone, are anabolic or muscle-building hormones. Low hormone levels in men may cause decreased muscle growth, even after exercise, and the degeneration of muscle tissue. As the muscles become smaller and less well developed, muscular weakness, inability to tolerate vigorous exercise and fatigue may be noticed.

Skeletal Changes

All sex hormones, particularly the androgens, are responsible for bone growth and maintenance. As hormone levels decline, bones may become porous and brittle. Male osteoporosis is a common cause of hip fractures in older men. Younger men with low hormone levels may be subject to weak and brittle bones as well, though the condition is rare before the age of 50.

Increased Fat Deposits

As androgen levels fall, female hormones such as progesterone and estrogen may become more expressed and promote female characteristics. While male hormones promote muscle growth, female hormones promote fat storage. Falling male hormone levels in men may allow for the increase of fat deposits throughout the body. In addition, the now-expressed female hormones allow for breast tissue development along with an increase in nipple size in a condition known as gynecomastia. Declining hormone levels may pose some increased risk for the development of breast cancer in men with breast development as well.
Mental Changes

With decreased hormone levels in men, some mental changes may occur. Thinking may become cloudy or less clear, and the development of memory loss may begin. A man with low hormone levels may see changes in sleep patterns, varying from excessive sleeping to insomnia. Loss of sexual interest and interest in pleasurable activities is common and may lead to the development of depression

I’m sick of hearing from guys who think they are completely fucked, from reading other guys posts and there cynical attitudes towards this. Yes this drug fucks with your hormones…But i’m sick of all these retarded theories and Posts.

Are you taking DHT gel? do you use it for fibrosis? is it working?

In relation never knew my aldosterone before propecia. Is it possible that the drug induced/caused further problems like CFS or where they already present and finasteride worsened the side effects by introducing sexual side effects + hormonal.

Finasteride decrease DHT 60-80% T - +15% LH - FSH Decrease 16% decrease in PSA 44%.

Nope. My DHT conversion is fine. If i find fibrosis becomes worse I will try it.
Though i’ve seen my penis return back to normal from increasing natural testosterone…
