I just come back from the same French urologist who examined my mate blasé
Here is what he found out :
inflammation of prostate + calcification
inflammation of bladder
I’ll post more details in my story later.
But overall thanks to solonjk for having advised us to make a TRUS and thanks blasé for the contact of the urologist.
I’ve been suffering for 4 years, and this is now the first time I have something in my hands to PROVE that something is wrong.
Just letting ya’ll know I’m now in Kos and recieved my first treatment today. Doc seems pretty confindent he can sort me out. Way too early to give any updates (pun intended)… Will see how it goes over the next couple of weeks.
Does the French doctor have anything to say about our symptoms or propecia?
Also, i think all of those still doubting this theory owe a huge thank you to Solonjk anyway just for making so many on this forum aware that they have prostate issues, whether or not Georgiadis cures everyone.
I’ve had around 24 prostrate therapies with Dr Georgiadis alongside the anti inflammatories and anti-biotics.
For the past couple of weeks I have noticed some blood after going to the toilet (when wiping my butt).
This is worrying me slightly but I’ve been doing some research and found that blood in the stools can often be caused by taking anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
so as I’m finished treatment now, I’m going to stop taking the anti inflammatories and see if this cures the bleeding butt problem that I have at the moment.
Thought I would mention this … in case any other guys experience the same problem, i.e you notice blood after wiping your butt.
It may just be due to the anti inflammatories that you’re taking. If the problem persists for the next few days I’m gonna go see my doc though.
I’m pretty sure its not prostate bleeding, as I haven’t noticed any blood in my ejaculate.
The blood is probably a side effect of the anti-inflammatories that i took for around 1 week post therapy, or it could be a hemorrhoid problem.
Anyway, i’m going to stop taking the anti-inflammatories completely and I’ll report back.
The advice i was given, was to continue taking the anti-biotics for at least week after the therapy ends.
No mention of taking the anti inflammatories after therapy, but I continued to take some extra tabs anyway which was probably unnecessary.
I’ll be sending an update email to Dr Georgiadis in the next week and will mention about the bleeding as well.
What colour is the blood? If it fresh and red it is from the anus perhaps due to haemorrhoids. Is it when you wipe or do you see it your stool. The former is more likely to be haemorrhoids.
why would you be taking anti-inflammatory? Did Dr. G tell you too? I dont see the point… On a side note, I’ve been taking anti-inflamms for 8 days now, and report no such bleeding…
You cant possibly be sure of that… Blood in stool is kind of a common thing in the sense that it happens to people once in a while… As long as it doesnt happen to ALL THE TIME…
Yes I have the same problem after SP use, when my symptoms get worse. when I wipe my butt I do it with extra caution other wise it bleeds. my skin have become very thin.
Well, This is my first post on this thread but as many others have been following the story entirely. I had an appointment with a supposed expert uro in Madrid last week (I say this because I was told to see him as also have many years of experience treatmenting prostatitis). Well, after checking my echo and the PSA he prescribed this treatment:
50mg diclofenac sodium x 12h x 10 days
20mg Omeprarzole x 24h x 10 days
500mg Cipro x 12h x 28 days
10mgx 24h x 3 months
I told him about the TRUS and said was not going to be relevant enough but he was very convinced (and convincing) that i would get cured if i followed this treatment.
Personally, as i have private medical insurance, i am trying to get better by attending medical consultation in Spain for a simple matter: It is totally free to me and want to give it a shot to it before going to Kos…
