Man for me having sex, or trying to have as much as this condition allows me, is helping. Some others say it makes them worse. In reality i think that emptying your system of anything in there is good, but this is based on my assumptions.
Do what ever helps you, listen to your body.

Well, other than increasing ejaculate volume if I stay away from it for a few days to a week, I don’t see much difference w/ masturbation. I’m still impotent. I was wondering if Dr. Georgiadis had an official advisory on the matter. Thanks.

BY THE WAY IF YOU HAVE PAINFUL TESTICLES THERE IS 99% CHANCE THAT YOU HAVE INFLAMMATION GOING ON . Dont wait, really. I thought it was hormonal and eliminated my estrogens. Nothing happened if not worse.

Only anti’s ive tried is bactrim, and it had minimal effect at best… though i noticed my erections were slight stronger while on it, but it made my penis feel very strange and even hard to pee… very strange experience when looking back on it…

Solonjk, at this point how much better are you feeling? 50%? 75%?
Do you still find that you are experiencing steady improvement?

So, I’ve complained about right testicular pain for a few years now. It is most pronounced right when I use some kind of hormonal treatment (Testosterone in the form of clomiphene citrate or Testim, cabergoline, etc.). I’m on zero meds right now, I’m on a time-out, if you will, but I just experienced a heightened amount of pain/discomfort today, and it’s still lingering at the moment.

I sort of reached down there, first time, really, and realized–big revelation here–that it’s not completely the testicle…in trying to pinpoint this pain that radiates out, I find that if I take my index finger and thumb and stretch them out, the index finger pointing just underneath the right testicle and the thumb a couple of inches up from the base of the penis (the top side where it joins your lower abdomen) and squeeze—THAT’s where the pain is coming from. It’s always on this right side. In other words, if I could squeeze the anatomy in with those two fingers, to try to alleviate pain, I’d be squeezing deep behind the penis on the right side. Obviously, an unreachable area from the outside.

Wondering if this is also a sign that T is rising (naturally).

My girlfriend uses roaccutane and her ovaries and lower belly hurt. Her sister does too, but she got no problem. The problem however is that my girlfriend has been having chlamydia, ureoplasma and some other crap attacking her. Every time she treats it she feels ok on roaccutane. Then they come back when she doesn’t take care of her hygiene and she goes for another round of treatment. You actually think it is the roaccutane that makes her problems?? It is the bacteria that get messed up from changing the hormone environment. Maybe if there was other bacteria there it would signal different problems or none at all.

Please do what you can to get your girlfriend off of accutane. If your theory is correct and taking a 5AR inhibitor can leave someone vulnerable to genital infections that cause PFS symptoms, do you really want to let her risk going through the same hell many of us have been through?

Why is it when I take anything that stimulates the liver I feel worse? Can stimulating the liver stimulate the immune system?
Why is it when I take anything that suppresses the immune system I feel better?

Just did a quick search on things that suppress the immune system:

4. Sleep deprivation

    13, Caffeinnated beverages

I don’t really have anything like a dull ache but i occasionally get these sharp “spasms” which radiate through the area around my prostate, anyone else get this? I wonder if it is the sort of thing that is consistent with a prostate infection.

Solonjk, can you confirm that you didn’t have any serious signs of an inflamed prostate before you saw this guy? You weren’t having constant pain in your prostate area or anything like that?

I’ve already had a transrectal ultrasound. I couldn’t get a real diagnosis from the doc as to whether or not it was inflamed. Solonjk said at 19cc that it is inflamed. I don’t know.

Pains on my testicles when sitting and less when walking some times, some very very mild hardenining of the epididymis head, really impossible to discern even under ultrasound, and the constant shrinking of testicles and erectile dysfunction/numbness/loss of orgams where the symptoms i was suffering from all them years, and somewhere in there came the metabolic issues with adrenals being shot etc etc . But it took me years to understand the reason behind all this. how much is partly due to direct action of fin on the receptor and how much is due to action of fin on the genital immunity/proteomics is hard to discern right now. I would say 20% due to fin action directly on homrones -80% due to fin action on immunity and genital inflammation

Solonjk, how does the doctor explain the problems with libido? Is this because of low converstion to 5AR in the prostate as well? Should libido return after treatment?
