Prostatitis treatment as a novel insight into Finasteride related problems

Wise man say, he who go to bed with itchy butt wake up with smelly fingah.

Holy shit, this guy is echoing much of what Dr. Georgiades is saying. Great find, thanks for sharing.

Nobodyā€™s been able to find any info on Dr. Georgiadis on the 'net, but here are his publications, fyi:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=georgiadis%20p&cmd=correctspelling

Wowā€¦

Strong claims, no? But the write-up on CP is very interesting.

Yes, the write up is certainly interesting. As is this one, attributing most prostatitis to resistent chlamdyia infection.

The needle up the ass aka Transrectal injection of antibiotic cocktail into the prostate, looks painful. Though the doc claims a 100% cure rate if treated aggressively this way.

Note the proximity of prostate to the rectal wall and the precise targeting of injection.

Based on these docs comments, it would seem that they CLEARLY see the problem and address it head on.

Iā€™m curious here too

Booked for 19th of June! Flights, hotels, everything major is figured out now.

Iā€™ll let you guys know/keep you up to date whether this works out or donā€™t so itā€™s less problems/more knowledge for you

Great news sir, and thanks for being willing to step up and try it. Hopefully you and the couple others that are going see success so we can finally lay this madness to restā€¦I for one am getting quite sick of being like thisā€¦

Wow thatā€™s really interesting

I have been having really big problems with my eyes for a while now

When I had my eyes looked at in an eye hospital the doctor was absolutely convinced I had chlamydia of the eyes. She scraped some skin from my eyelids and put it in one of those plastic dishes and it turned out to be negative. She still insisted I had eye chlamydia. She put me on a round of antibiotics and it cleared up my eyes a little bit but then it came back again. I went back complaining of eye problems and again she insisted it was eye chlamydia and put me on the z-pak antibiotic and did another tissue sample which came back negative. This time I was really curious and had myself tested for chlamydia. I peed in a cup and it was negative. The zpack helped for a few weeks and I the eye problems returned. At this point I just gave up and have been living with eye problems ever since.

I actually have a history of showing all the symptoms for bacterial infections and then it later turns out that tests show Iā€™m negative. In 2007 I came into the dr office with incredibly bad congestion, runny nose, achey joints, the whole nine yards. The dr was convinced I had Lyme disease and put me on antibiotics. I got rid of the flu like symptoms and was able to return to work in a month but all the testing that was done was negative for Lyme disease. I asked my doctor what the heck was wrong with me and he kind of shrugged his shoulders and said something along the lines of ā€œoh well, if you had Lyme itā€™s cured, if you didnt have lyme, you are better, so it doesnā€™t matter. Only thing that matters is that you feel betterā€

I guess thatā€™s the reason why I have been following this thread with such great interest. I feel like there may be something to this because I seem to have a really hard time keeping infection in my body under control.

I have been watching this thread, so thought to share my prostatis story.

In 1990 I got urine burning, frequence, urgency and night visits to washroom (was getting up 8 - 9 times per night).stream was very thin and weak. I had to spend a lot of time in the washroom to empty my bladder. I was having intense errections at the same time. First had to wait for 5 - 10 minutes for my errections to subdue and then urinate.

urologist gave digital exam and I cried with pain when he touched my prostate. test came positive (gram postive ). put me on

doxy cycline
ampicinine
uroxine
Noroxine
these all meds I took for almost 2 months. Doctor did culture and told me all is gone but my problems were there, 24 hr errections, burning at the tip of my penis and pain. Second urologist told me it was now abactarial prostaitis, treatment? prostatic massages for months. I did those then got fed up and learned to live with that. I had to drink huge amount of water (12 14 glasses) to keep urine diluted. I lived that way upuntill learned about Saw Palmettoā€™s miracles. thought it was a magice bullet will fix my both problems (hair loss+ prostate). The rest you know.
I was totally different. Despite of getting up at night and little to no sleep I was strong like bull. I was fond of arm wrestling and was able to crush bigger guys easily. My errections were my problems then. Before going out I used to see down many times to make sure my junk was not visible. Present situation is 180 degree oposite.
This is my story make from it what you like.

sps

gefinauser,

how did you schedule the travel and hotel? Is there a package deal or did you have to schedule everything separately?

honestly man Iā€™m sorry but I really dont understand your story or what point you are trying to make? please explain betterā€¦?

I think heā€™s trying to say that our problems are not due to prostatitis.

He didnt even take Finasteride so anything he says is not of my concernā€¦

My point I was making was the lyme and chlamydia of the eye scares (both or which I tested negative for in conventional testing methods) came after I used finasteride. I think itā€™s not outside the realm of possibility that this drug could have somehow opened the door to some kind of infection to take hold.

First i arreanged the treatment with Georgiadis ofc. After that well, i wanted to save the most and my town didnā€™t have too many good travelling shops and they were expensive so i arreanged my hotel and flight seperately. I arreanged the cheapest flight i could get (from internet cheap flight sites) both ways for 480 euros and the hotel for the whole time for 840 euros (reservation) - in Kos island the fees vary depending on the season and my fees were rising at the end of the trip from 17/19 euros to up to total of 35 euros. my hotel room is VERY stripped from everything anyways, including from air conditioning.

gulp, Interesting?! I thought he makes a point about that prostatis treatment didnā€™t work but to me, it seems that he originally had a nasty prostatis which he tried to treat with antibiotics and whatever with no vail. Then he found about Saw Palmetto and plussing Stops Hair Loss with Healthy, Cured Prostrate, he did a go with it only to end up like us. Saw Palmetto is a sort of a 5-alpha reductase if not exactly similiar as an inhibitor as finasteride.

Argh, i wish the next week would be over already so i can test this theory out.

Yes, I would interpret this similarlyā€¦one has a known case of prostatitis which routine antibiotics and massages do not eradicate. One takes a 5AR inhibitor (in this case saw palmetto), and oneā€™s symptoms get WORSE. This is our extrapolated speculation on why Dr. Georgiadisā€™s treatment may be addressing a root cause which might be exacerbated (or perhaps instigated) by finasteride use. I donā€™t know if this type of Chronic Prostatitis is the answer for everyone, but Spstrikenā€™s experienceā€“I thinkā€“lends more credibility to it.

guys, did someone perform penis ecocolordoppler?

if yes which results?

if someone got fibrosis from finasteride, i donā€™t know if it reverse treating prostate

If this is the same as a penile Doppler Ultrasound, then yes. Mild corporal fibrosis. Testosterone can help tissue composition. Donā€™t think this is the culprit in my E.D.

joetz and any others please share your experiences with antibiotics here.
