I called up chrisler and paid a bunch of USD for his advice which i allready knew. Take aromasin he told me and we will see in two weeks. My balls got smaller my penis lost mor sensation and nothing happened above improvement in my blood tests (higher testosterone and lower e2). It definately caused me more problems in the prostate area.
Any even slight inflammation in the prostate (even 1cc increase of normal sizewhich is 12-14 for most young men) is able to cause serious sexual side effects, drop of hormones and a bunch of unrelated and unknown problems, fatigue, aches and pains in body, depression, loss of sexual fantasy, loss of stimulation via visual means etc etc.

Some people don’t understand what inflammation is. They think it is something very insignificant. Inflammation means serious problems, especially in organs that tend to receive and metabolize the most important hormones a man has. So do the freaking test and save your self of a lot of mess and serious money running to endos and other specialists.

As i said before if anyone feels he has more experience than me with doctors and researchers we can openly discuss this here what they suggested.

Let me think just this year who tried to help me

-George Chrousos, (visited him 4 times) prof of paediatric endocrinology and neuroendocrinology, twenty years of US research in the field of hormone insensitivity syndromes, stress system functions, rare endocrinological diseases you name it. He is considered one of the top 100 medics in US, receiving consecutive grants of millions of USD for his research (bethesda research center) and author of more than 30 books, chief editor of the stress encyclopaedia. He told me simply that if i have such a syndrome testosterone and dihydrotesto should do the job. Well it didn’t
-Hertoghe, Thierry, (visited him two times) we all know who he is, 120 years endocrine antiaging clinic in Belgium. His great grandfather was one of the first to treat thyroid symptoms in Europe. What the fuck the guy told me there is no way testosterone should’nt work, he takes it himself and also takes finasteride
-Chrisler, John, phone consultations we all know how good he is with hormones. Was of utterly no help to me despite his logic assumptions
-Dr. Stefan Arver, professor of endocrinology in Karolinska Sweden. No help to me he prescribed dihydrotestosterone and anti-inflammatories. Reckoned there is other problem in my body for testosterone and dihydrotestosterone not to help me
-Neuroimmunologist professor in Spain, she said she reckons there is a problem with me but couldn’t understand why hormones wouldn’t work (gave me pregnenolone, dhea, testosteron)
Around 15 endocrinologists in Greece and about 10 urologists most university based. Of no help other than prescribing antibiotics, clomid, anti-estrogens etc etc.
-Finally seen dr. Georgiadis and he simply told me all these problems are due to inflammation in my prostate. Finasteride he reckons irritates the prostate and boosts the inflammation rapidly and very effectively.
Gee the guy living next to me had symptoms from using saw palmetto and he thought it was due to this, but in the end after seeing every possible doctor in my city got convinced that he had prostatitis as well. Now he is also getting treated. 26 years old and not feeling any need for sex, since months ago. He sais he can’t be visually stimulated any more. Was founnd to have 18cc prostatitis and inflammation all over touching his nerves adjacent to the prostate.

Well if this is not enough to get convinced that prostate plays a role, i don’t know what else to tell you.

Just one TRANSRECTAL ULTRASOUND is enough to convince you if it exists or not

Thank you Solonjk. Your thoughts are much appreciated. Your information is clear and to-the-point. While we dont know whether this is the cure, I think the answer is going to be very simple in the end as a lot of top dogs cannot solve the suspected puzzle from an endo angle.

If people want to keep throwing irritating hypothetical questions to you, you should not answer them. We all know what to do if we want to try to get an answer about this prostate theory.

solonjk - It has been slightly over one month since you created this thread and I am assuming you have been receiving treatment for the duration of this time. Can you report back on any changes you may have experienced in this time? Many of your arguments make logical sense assuming a given PFS patient has prostatitis, which does not appear to be the case for all patients. However, until you can report back some tangible success, this idea cannot even be considered anecdotal.

It’s dangerous to be raising guys’ hopes about this if they are on the other side of the world and desperate. I can’t see how prostatis could lead to symptoms like muscle wastage and insomnia developing after you stop the drug, with a recovery of sexual desire in between. It’s pretty sad that some guys are getting so hyped up about this on the basis of one poster’s thoughts, a poster who hasn’t even claimed any success yet.

Im not hyped. Just willing to get the test done. Just like many others are trying many other tests for different reasons. Nobody is saying it is THE cure, just a possible player.

i have not with me the echo results, but i’ll post here immediately

my main sides after 3 yrs discontinuation
1 low but acceptable libido\little numbness
2 little prostate discomfort
3 normal erections a bit of penis shrinkage

in my case the prostate discomfort is in direct connection with some sides

(when it subside, also other symptoms subsides)

My prostate twitches a lot. I don’t know what that means but it never happened to my knowledge before Finasteride.

I definately had yellow sperm too that just looked wrong.

I too have had twitches, spasams followed by whiteish discharge when urinating… Only happens every so often though. I know what you mean about no pain, but something not right…

I get twitches and a pain thats not painful just a discomfort. When i orgasm i can feel it not where i should but deep down in the prostate. I can feel it contract. The rare few times this isn’t present and the feeling is where it should be - the better the orgasm (this is rare).

I don’t understand the treatment protocol you are following. What is it?

I have reached treatment number 28 and today i am doing 29th. Last two weeks i have been producing amazing amounts of pus, white dense matter when my prostate is being pressured. In the first weeks i felt great pain as the prostatic capsule was very resistant and strong.

Did the doc say it was puss? What does it look like?

I’m getting a transrectal ultrasound tomorrow. Its booked in.
