Prostate starting to enlarge again/starting to recover?

Before this turns into a crazy Waco thread I am by no means claiming that I have found the “PFS solution”. I am posting this simply for the purpose of sharing my experience thus far:

Took Avodart when I was 22 years old for extremely enlarged prostate. Was so enlarged at that time that I suffered from complete urniary retention for three days. That’s medical terminology for not being able to piss at all. My urologist at that time put me on Avodart (powerful dual action DHT inhibiter) and antibiotics. His logic for putting me on both meds was because he did not know if DHT or an infection was causing my extemely enlarged prostate. Anyway I took the Avodart for a month when I was 22. My prostate symptoms went away. No problems for next four years. When I was 26 years old I took Saw Palmetto. How I ended up taking Saw p when I was 26 was because I wanted to try a “natural test booster product” for gains in the gym. (Stupid 26 year old). Anyway I ended up with a product called methyl arimetest that happens to be loaded with Saw P. (Why saw P in a body builder product, no friggin idea)

After a week of taking this product I ended up with full blown sexual PFS symptoms. Inability to get and keep erection, numb dick, wattry semen and reduced amount of semen. Also lost muscel all over my body pretty much overnight especially in my legs.

So I deff crashed because of the saw P. Fast forward to 29 years old, still have all the PFS symptoms listed above and had no clue what PFS was. Last feb I found this website and discovered that I am suffering from PFS.

So now the point of this thread:

Sense this whole thing started for me (4 years and 3 months ago) I have “kept track” of my prostate. Why? Well because of my history with severe prostate problems at 22 years old. During this time of keeping an eye on my prostate I have had one ultrasound and one cat scan that showed a normal size prostate with a cyst on it. I have had prostate exams (doctor sticking finger up ass… Ya that 1) and my prostate was always normal in size according to every test I had.

Well now out of the fucking blue all of a sudden my prostate is enlarged again!!! And guess what. My ability to get and keep erection has had a major improvment. I mean before now I was pretty much always completly limp dick no matter how Horneey I was. My erection size is 90 percent pre PFS.

My ability to get an erection is 50 percent pre PFS.

These are the biggest inprovments I have had sense PFS onset 4 years and three months ago.

My latest cat scan 6 weeks ago showed BPH! It said BPH on my radiology report!!! My inprovments started around the exact same time!!!

I honestly believe that I shrunk my prostate down to much from the Avodart combined with the saw P four years lata. If my ability to get an erection goes up to even 70 percent pre PFS im posting in the recovery section which will be my last and final post.

Not their yet but if I continue to get lucky I feel like I could be their soon!

Maybe this is mother natures way of saying hey look…some guys are made to have enlarged prostates. Don’t fuck with it and be happy if you can piss

Only other thing I’d like to add Is for about 2 months prior to seeing these inprovments and prior to finding out I have an enlarged prostate again I took 150 MG of DHEA every day for 2 weeks with 2 week breaks inbetween. I used high quality trib and tongkat Ali during the 2 week periods of being off as like a pct for my high dose DHEA cycles.

Maybe the DHEA grew my prostate ???

Ya I know I sound like a Waco. But I’m just going crazy in a good way because these inprovments that I contribute to having solid proof that my prostate has grown seem to be sticking. So I’m just feeling like its 2 good to be true

Now keep in mind I hit that “magic 4 year mark” that merk likes to talk about. Maybe that’s y I feel like I’m starting to recover ?

But if there is any truth to this would finding ways to enlarge are prostates be a good idea?

Perhaps a DHT Injection right into the prostate gland?

My prostate has been swollen since the beginning of this. I just did an ultrasound yesterday and It just the same…swollen with a little cyst in it. However after my special diet and juicing everyday for 4 months now…my testosterone went from 520 to 760, Estrogen from 3.7 to 2.9, and Prolactin from 19 to 9.7. I have some ups and down but for the most part I am feeling good. I ate something I shouldnt Last week and during friday, saturday and sunday I felt like crap, now I am feeling soo good. Diet does have an impact on this. At least for me.

This is why no one else has been able to recover via progesterone. One guy recovered who happened to take it and tons of people have jumped on the bandwagon for years now. If you guys want any chance of a normal life, go to Baylor immediately so that they can finish the study.

Had a similar experience. After being on Fin for 4 years, quitted at the beginning of November. Went to a Uro 10 days ago and got it checked out. Said that my prostate is a bit large for a guy at my age (23) and I have a mild infection down there. Is this a good sign? Isn’t it a bit strange that I have a slightly enlarged prostate after being on a drug for 4 years that’s supposed to shrink the prostate?

I have a hard time seeing any 'magic mark" year suddenly fixing this. Merck still says the drug is safe! Are we really going to believe anything they say? Its like JQD trying to say the placebo group had Low DHT… Who cares what they said. Merck lied or at least didn’t take “side effects” seriously. My prostate was checked and they say its fine… I must be cured! But I am not.

Oddly, when my DHEA was tested about 2 years ago, it came back at the very top of the range – 370 on a scale of 370. I tried it as a supplement once, briefly, and felt no benefit. I also used Progesterone for a few weeks last year, and I think it worsened the sexual symptoms.

Interesting… Mine was slightly over range in my last 2 tests. No supplementation.

Good to hear about your inprovments in hormone levels and in how you feel by following a strict diet.

I’m curious about somthing, you said your prostate has been swollen sense you first started suffering from this. What tests have you had exactly that showed a swollen prostate? Did these tests show that you have BPH ?

Also do you have any test results that would give us any clues about what Kind of shape your prostate was in before you took a DHT inhibiter and came down with PFS ?

It’s been floating around here that merk claims people who have a abnormal recation will be recoverd in four years. I agree, no we can’t trust anything they say.

Like I stated above My prostate was also checked several times while suffering from this syndrome and I have always been told it’s fine.

But now it’s not fine, I’m Diganosed with BPH . An enlarged prostate. And I’m feeling better than I was before

We know fin is a type of DHT inhibiter that docs give to shrink the prostate so yes that is weird that you would take fin for 4 years and still have an enlarged prostate. ThAt tells me that your prostate Is not enlarged because of to much DHT, it’s enlarged because of the Infection your doc told u that u have.

The DHT inhibiter can’t do anything for a prostate infection caused by bacteria or sttds. Ud need antiobiotics for that

Fucking awesome post man! I believe you will be in the recovery section soon! Gives me alot of hope. … you exercise like a mother and eat healthy! Very encouraging dude. … I know some people don’t believe in healthy living as a potential “cure”…But I DO. … maybe it was the dhea though… who knows… regardless very happy for you man… big time
