Did anyone know Daniel? It doesn’t say how he died, but I am assuming he took his own life.

Policing, homeland security, criminal justice–the last guy I would have thought could fall prey to Propecia.
But it just goes to show how dangerous it is that so many doctors dole the drug out like it’s candy.
Why? I fell victim to it and I was an actual federal agent. Doesn’t matter human is human. Just because someone had “amazing” government training doesn’t mean your invulnerable health wise.
I wonder how many Merck employees and/or their family members have PFS. Must be at least a handful.

And it’s sick to hear of yet another doctor telling a patient to stay on finasteride:
“I believe that evening is when I noticed ED. I called my dermatologist. A voicemail was left a few days later by a nurse saying that it was too soon for me to be experiencing any sides and to continue the medication.”
That’s akin to murder.
This is so terribly sad. What a perfect example of a wasted life. Stories like this really hit home the reality that this drug costs lives. Dr Daniel sounded like a great guy with an incredible amount to give to this world. His life was cut tragically short, although he clearly had already made a profound mark and was loved by many. Merck took his life. They killed him and left a family without a son, brother, uncle, and grandson, and many students without a professor. They have denied him and his loved ones a life fully and richly lived and have denied many from knowing him and all he had to give. Even on a level that they would understand, they have denied the American economy the input of an intelligent, educated, working man who would have more than paid his way. If they can so callously take lives, then maybe the final tragic chapter in Daniel’s life, and ultimately his death, can act as the point at which we say, “No more. Enough is enough.” Will we have to now watch Merck hiding behind grossly well-paid lawyers to say, prove it. How much more suffering can they inflict?
