Progesterone treatment?

hello guys

i was using with t4 only until now but i have give up t4 after 2 years and i feel better. i think i had low cortisol levels to get my thyroid work.

so what can i do next? i heard about preg, but what is the most successful one? its 2 years since i last visit that forum sorry

Are your thyroid levels stable and within the 0-2 range? If not look in to NDT (Armour) or T3 only options as it would appear you’re body is one of the many that has trouble converting T4 to T3.

my tsh is over 2, 2.66 smth. but i am quite sure that i have a lower back pain nearly two years after i give up proscar, and it still continues.

because, i have low cortisol to convert t4 to t3, so quiting t4 helped me alot, i am more strong now,

waiting for your pregnenalone or other adrenal hormone experiences to help cure hypotiroid and other autoimmune responses,

also i have hashimotos which can blame low cortisol levels, cortisol has to be in the body to fight these antibodies, and also t4 to go into cells.

by the way i have my morning erections, libido and sexual health seems okay, but i have low power

If you have low cortisol then get on some hydrocortisone to boost your levels. If you can’t get a prescription, then buy the 1% cream that is sold for itches, rashes and bug bites, cheap as a dollar at many stores. You’ll have to use about 1/8 of the tube each day, but that should supply you about 20MG of cortisone. Do a test run and see if that helps at all. I’m not going to say that progesterone cures cortisol imbalance, and don’t know enough about pregnenelone. Your TSH indicates you’re probably still hypothyroid, I say probably because TSH is only a guideline it doesn’t measure actual thyroid output. Figure out your cortisol either through prescription HC, 1% cream or doing a test and seeing if Pregnenlone or Progesterone work to correct it.

what about pregnenolon ? and what is the name for the drug? i have a lower back pain nearly for 2 years, i am quite sure that thats adrenal gland NOW

Speaking from personal experience and from seeing many others lab tests with the same: I have high REVERSE T3 which inhibits Free T3. If that were you then taking T4 wouldn’t help because your body would use it and just convert it into the same ratio of Free T3 to Reverse T3. If I had to guess it would be that you are converting things fine but have high reverse T3 levels which happens for a multitude of reasons.

I wanted to give a suggestion to those of you on progesterone and experiencing brain fog as I do: If you feel brain fog you can try taking 25-50 mg of Zinc Gluconate which helps. Another thing that has helped me is to drink a lot of water, like two full glasses, then after I pee I feel way better. It’s almost like the water flushes out the excess progesterone your body couldn’t use and so you feel better but that is just an idea I pulled out of my ass. Not sure how it works but it does seem to help significantly.

If we can say full libido, sponteneous erections morning wood is a recover thats ok for me.
and
t4 is usually doesnt work for any hypothyroid patient as i read on stopthyroidmadness.com
t4 only meds resulting low vitd, low others, now i quit t4 abd i feel very powerful, not tired
so i will leave my tsh at 2.5 untreated or maybe no need to treat

I’ll post my experience. I’m in my first 4 days off. The first week I got numb dick, worse brain fog intense dreams then I started to wake up with morning wood then one day I got my mind very clear and my libido returned 20, 25% but I was acting different I was looking for girls like animal instinct and they were looking for me too before this would’nt happen. Now I’m not waking up with morning wood, but brain fog is better, sleeping better, not feelimv wasted when I wake up, sleeping the entire night without waking up, mood is better. I believe my baseline improved and I hope when I returm to the cream it will increase even more.

What I notice is that when our minds get very clear we also get stamina and libido.
My gyne improved too and I lost weight without exercise.

I will start to take vitamins d, b, zinc and magnesium because they are anti aromatase maybe will accelerate things.

Yes take supplements and wait dont interrupt your body recovery first, than check your levels. Maybe trt maybe thyroid and afrenal support works for you but i dont think, you will recover naturally in long term, like 3-6 months

can you check your triroid function (tsh)

I just started cycle #5, and my experience is very similar to brazilianguy. Sleep is better, occasional brain fog but that clears as well. Motivation is much better. I definitely noticed oilier skin and more facial hair. Sexually, improvement is much slower, I think my overall baseline has improved slightly (easier to keep erection, small increase in libido), but still struggle with this (no where near cured). I’m hoping the addition of Mirapex helps.

My tsh was 4 and now is 2,2 with no thyroid or cortisol meds. I refuse taking it and I won’t do trt.
I’m not recovering naturally I’m applying the cream as the protocol said.

The supplements I will see if accelerate the estrogen clearence. I took all medicines you can imagine, clomid and others.

.ok. May i know the crem name?

btw my opinion here is you ahould wait, because you never know when you are cured, if you gues that you cured and stop a,medication after that your own body take over the control and you will maybe crush again, so only your body medicate you at this time.

every medication will end and when your body gets in the head he will use its own rules.

Come on. Really? You’re in a topic about progdsterone cream recovery and you ask what cream.
Try to delete the message and I’ll do the same we don’t need to flood the topic.

He’s just asking for the cream-name. He’ll probably understand it’s progesterone. I use bio-identical progesterone cream from organic excellence (chemical free). On the site they also recommend it for men.

Just wanted to reflect how much better I’m doing since the progesterone crash of 4 months ago. I feel really good, after the low point I have had almost perfect digestion, skin no longer dry, sweat all the time, haven’t gone one day in the last 4 months were I haven’t had sexual thoughts, libido is not like an 18 year old, but my libido is surging and I am aggressive again.

I really think I figured this out, I think it’s what I said day one when I joined this site two years ago, there is an imbalance of progesterone to estrogen at the receptor sites in the brain. I feel like the progesterone stimulated the estrogen receptors so at first I was horrible but now feel really good.

Good luck everyone!

So progedterone is cream is the cure ? I feel good now but i have a little hope for more…

"Progesterone is also the most potent known inhibitor of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a known cause of male pattern balding, prostatic hyperplasia, and prostate cancer. By blocking 5-alpha-reductase, progesterone promotes higher levels of testosterone in your body.

that’s pretty f-ckn awesome, how many cycles did you do? Can you tell us more about exactly how you did the protocol? You weren’t doing any of the extras like Tongkat Ali or Deprenyl and / or Maca were you? Were you doing 10mg a day all at once or split into two? If I remember correctly you only went about five days and stopped right? Drop the details because I may start doing it exactly how you were
