Progesterone and pramipexole experiment

Since I personally have experienced a lot of success with the progesterone and pramipexole protocol I want to do an experiment with others. I am also going to partially sponsor this experiment by purchasing half of the items required for the first 5 people to respond to this post. Here is the 12 week protocol you must follow and you also must report to this thread once a week.

  1. use 10mg of natural usp progesterone cream per day and take a 5 day break every 14 days

  2. use .25mg of pramipexole per day with a 5 day break every 14 days.

I will provide you a link to purchase the pramipexole on your own. I will then send you a 3 month supply of progesterone cream to your provided address.

The first 5 people to pm me with your email address or home mailing address will receive the free progesterone cream. Everyone else who commits to this protocol will receive the pramipexole link and my support along the way you’re responsible for buying the cream on your own.

I have absolutely 0 financial interest in this. I’m sick and tired of receiving Pm’s from sufferers who are unwilling to believe my and others success with progesterone and who won’t try it themselves. Thank you in advance to all participants.

PM’d

i did. thanks a lot

Hey just wondering if you maintained the improvements after you stopped taking progesterone?

Good call!

Will progesterone not work on its own ?

What extra benefits do you get by using it with pramipexole ?

Good question Mark.
Why don’t you take 10mg all at once like light at tge end and others did?
where do you apply? I’m not english speaker so I have a question when you guys say rotate the places you apply the cream does it mean you alternate? For example one day just in the neck other day jist the left inner arm. Or it is everday you try to divide the 10mg in all these places at the same time?

Do you guys think that taking it rectally gives you better absortion and effects? I’m asking it because one guu told me he got better results doing in this way. Finatruth took it rectally but I don’t know if he changed to the neck.

I’m taking it in my arms and neck and I think it’s not working anymore, yesterday I put in my inner legs and got lucid dream, not like before, but woke up with morning wood that I got and lost in the same week.

Great job Hypo, way to go. I just started with clomid so i will stick with this and letro for 3 months after that i am jumping on progesterone.

I am not sure why some people are hoping to recover only naturally, that takes a long ass time…and is uncertain.

I spoke to a dr in the field there NOTHING coming out of the medical community anytime soon that is relevant to us.

So we all have to experiment…

What about the trials?

Still taking both, at the beginning of doing this protocol the symptoms would be worse on days off of progesterone, but that has slowly gone away.

I don’t know, haven’t tried it just on it’s own. Give it a shot yourself. Progesterone does raise prolactin which can be a bad thing for us and is bad for males in general (the only time prolactin raises in the male body is after ejaculation). I’ve had high prolactin before and didn’t want to experience those side effects when using progesterone. I added in pramipexole to keep prolactin down and because I had it on hand vs. the seg that Light at the End had used. Some of the increased benefits of pramipexole are better sleep, it really does knock you out so make sure to take it at night time only the first few weeks or you may end up nodding off during the day. It also raises dopamine (which lowers prolactin).

Progesterone does build up in your fat tissue so you do need to rotate / alternate your application site everyday. I have five places I switch between during the week 1)Testicles 2)Back of Knees and Feet 3)Inner Arms 4)Chest 5)Neck. Never tried the backdoor / anal application.

Do you have tinnitus (ringing ears)?
I would like to know if progesterone cream can cure this symptom that may be from estrogen dominance

Hey, thanks for the reply. Can I get that link for the pramipexole?

I get it from time to time, but usually after some loud event. By loud event I mean concert or American Football game ( I know the Brazilians consider American Football a travesty). Haven’t experienced for any other reason and it usually only lasts a day. If you suspect estrogen dominance you have two options. 1) reduce estrogen via letrozole, amridex, and other aromitaze inhibitors. 2) Balance Estrogen by A) Increasing Progesterone B) Decreasing Prolactin or C) Decrease Testosterone by eating like crap, drinking gallons of alcohol and sitting on the couch. 3) Increasing Testosterone so high that estrogen doesn’t even matter, you MUST use hardcore steroids to do this, and I doubt you have the funds or access to do this so don’t bother asking questions or looking into it further.

Just an FYI on this experiment / thread. As far as healthy eating / exercise is concerned that is not part of the protocol! If you want to eat super healthy and exercise on a regular basis then go for it. As you may have figured out from my past posts I’m from / live in Wisconsin which means… we drink. A lot. More than the Germans, and just as much as the Norwegians, and health food is any vegetable, including guacamole with a margarita or 5.

I know in my posts I talk about exercise especially cycling and cross country skiing, both of those things are important to me, so my performance on both are indicative of my progress in PFS.

Again, I want 5 people, at least, to participate in this, so far there are 3. If you’re at all curious, just try it, what do you have to lose?

I’m feeling pressured to do this trial, both for myself and because it would be good to get involved, but I’m scared to mess around with my body. Surely it’s understandable that PFS men are wary/dubious about ANYTHING we put into/onto their bodies now.

If anyone can spend some time talking me through it I’d be grateful.

Here is some info on Pramipexole:

Taking Pramipexole can affect dopamine (dopamine functions in several parts of the body as a local chemical messenger):
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dopamine

Pramipexole is a Dopamine agonist, meaning it will increase dopamine activity:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dopamine_agonist

Pramipexole can be used to treat parkinsons, restless leg syndrome, attention deficit disorder.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pramipexole

Pramipexole can be used to treat Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) by increasing sexual desire and orgasmic capacity:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_Aversion_Disorder

Common side effects of pramipexole:

Headache
Hyperalgesia (body aches and pains)
Nausea and vomiting
Sedation and somnolence
Decreased appetite and subsequent weight loss
Orthostatic hypotension (resulting in dizziness, lightheadedness, and possibly fainting, especially when standing up)
Insomnia
Hallucinations (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting or feeling things that are not there)
Twitching, twisting, or other unusual body movements
Unusual tiredness or weakness
Several unusual adverse effects of pramipexole (and related D3-preferring dopamine agonist medications such as ropinirole) may include compulsive gambling, punding, hypersexuality, and overeating,[12] even in patients without any prior history of these behaviours.[13] These behaviors have been reported to manifest in almost 14% of patients on dopamine agonist therapies. Other compulsive behaviors such as excessive shopping have been reported.[14] L-DOPA is an indirect acting dopamine agonist with no specificity for any receptor subtypes. As it is the precursor for dopamine it is rarely associated with these disorders. These side effects are thought to be linked to the D3 activity of pramipexole, as D3 receptors are heavily expressed in brain regions involved in mood, behavior, and reward.[15]

Thanks noniman. I will read up.

Hypo. I don t think you have a profile story. Would you mind telling me what symptoms you had and what you are left with to date. I.e. what has improved?
Thanks.
