Pregnenolone and cholesterol increase

After 3 weeks of taking Pregnenolone my cholesterol was: LDL cholesterol 234 (ref. 115) triglycerides 168 (ref. 150) - Total cholesterol 304 (ref. Less than 100). How is it possible?
