PFS Podcast

Last rant - when the research starts coming out in the next year or two, the media is going to jump on the story. They will be looking for evidence that this disease is as bad as it sounds. We need to give them something to find. I want them to stumble onto the podcast only to see STORY AFTER STORY…for the media to collectively go “Holy Fuck - how have we missed this the whole time.” Media attention leads to more eyes on us, on the Foundation, we get more funding and we get closer to a cure.

That’s all I want. A fucking cure. The podcast isn’t a hobby of mine. I don’t do it for kicks. I wish more than anything in the world that I had never heard of PFS, that I wasn’t stuck in this bloody hell with the rest of you. The stories on the podcast aren’t for us. They are for the world to discover when they finally realize what happened.

At the end of WWII - General Eisenhower brought thousand of US troops through the Nazi concentration camps. He showed them the rotting bodies, the gas chambers, all of it. Why? So the world would never forget, and so the world could never deny the Holocaust. It was so bad, that without thousands of witnesses, people might not have believed. That’s what each story is…another eyewitness account.

I guess its too much too ask…its so much easier to get non PFS guys on the podcast…maybe most of you don’t actually have PFS. Fuck it.

And if most of you aren’t willing to speak because your lawyer told you not to, that’s bullshit. I told my lawyer in no uncertain terms that I am involved in this mess because of silence. Merck, the FDA, doctors…silence. How will that play in the courtroom when Merck says - if PFS is so bad, why didn’t you do anything? Why didn’t you try and warn others? Here is this podcast, here is a guy that asked you to come on, and you refused. PFS must not be too bad.

Jorbie, like I already said, your frustration is understandable, there are ways around the problem of lack of interest in doing the show. In fact, lack of interest isn’t the main problem. PM me if you want to discuss further.

Jorbie, give me a week or two to organize my stuff and I liked to come on the show. But I want to talk about stuff we haven’t heard, like my diagnoses of pseduo cushings, with loss of collageen in lower arms and legs (not exactly muscle wasting as we think). I’d also like to talk about how most people complain of testicle pain on the left side. Penis curvature to the left etc. I can guarantee you it will be extemely in depth. I will also share my 9 year story from years and years of having zero symptoms to symptoms emerging immediately upon cessation. I would also like to talk about spikes I have had in this condition such as one day not feeling an orgasm, and the next almost collapsing bc it felt pleasurable. Etc

Great. Thank you Finatruth. I look forward to it. Come on guys…give me 15-30 minutes on the phone. That’s all I am asking.
Fina - when you are ready PM me and we can set it up.

Jorbie, if you make an iTunes Podcast show you might get a lot more viewers. I listen to podcasts on my phone daily with iTunes. It is by far the easiest and most populated podcast client.

Maybe even making a Youtube account would get even more hits.

Also, I am willing to do an interview. Just let me know!

Lastly, Dr. Paul Joannides might be a good one to try to get on the podcast. He already did a 90 second podcast about the side effects of Finasteride on his podcast “90 Seconds on Sex”.

Moonman -
Great suggestions. I will work on the iTunes part of it. And thanks for coming on the show. I will PM you and we can set it up. Cmon guys…let’s get more stories out there…

A few weeks back, Adam had Stan Hardin, founder of the Association of Peyronie’s Disease Advocates, on his BlogTalkRadio show:

blogtalkradio.com/pfsglobal/ … ssociation

After his appearance, Hardin blogged about the connection between finasteride and Peyronie’s:

inspire.com/groups/associati … nasteride/

And the response, Hardin says, was so strong that he launched his own BTR show – with Adam as his first guest:

blogtalkradio.com/peyroniesm … pfs-global

Another excellent development. Thanks as always to Adam.

Plus, I see Adam has yet another PFS victim on tomorrow:

blogtalkradio.com/pfsglobal/ … diss-story

Be sure to tune in – and comment on the show page if you can.

Pleas excused me all i sound really really terrible oh my god i hope the people have understand one damn word…

You spoke extremely well, even disregarding the fact it isn’t your first language. I can relate to a lot of what you have gone through and appreciate you honesty. Take care of yourself for now as it does improve.

Do you have a link to the German propecia victims forum?

You were fine, dont worry.

Thank you very much…
Yes of Course prefin.forumprofi.de/index.php

By the end George’s interview, I was in tears. He’s so brave to have come forward and it’s glaringly obvious how badly he’s suffering.

And yet not one doctor will take him seriously. He said his doctors call PFS an “Internet myth.”

What makes me furious are such dismissals – implying that PFS exists only on this Wild West-like place they call cyberspace, where nothing can be believed, where the truth cannot possibly exist.

Well, the next time any one of you hears that dismissal from a doctor – or from anyone, for that matter – please sit him down in front of a computer and show them this link:

pfsfoundation.org/media/

Then ask him if he thinks the following media outlets – some of the most reputable on the planet, and all of which have covered PFS – would appreciate being dismissed as mere “Internet” entities that have nothing better to do than spread “myths”:

-CNN
-ABC News
-NBC News
-CBS News
-Fox News
-Bloomberg News
-USA Today
-PBS
-Time magazine
-TF1
-BBC
-Australian Financial Review
-The Daily Mail
-The Sydney Morning Herald
-Men’s Health magazine
-US News & World Report
-The Toronto Star

Also ask this question: “If there were no truth to PFS – and it’s just a bunch of guys trying to sue Merck because they’re too lazy to work – why wouldn’t Merck sue any/all of the above media outlets for libel? Or at least issue them a cease-and-desist order on their reports that remain in place as we speak?”

After you do that, please – PLEASE – return to this page and report to me what his reaction was.

George- that was a fantastic job! Your English is very good. You spoke so succinctly and honestly, and told the genuine horror of what this drug can do. Especially AFTER stopping the drug all together

Hang in there, the first year is the worst, very very slowly I think you will start to see some positve changes in year two and then going forward.

Great interview, my highest respects. You might have just saved many young men from ever starting this poison.

Excellent point: If Adam’s show dissuades even ONE man from taking finasteride, it will be worth the effort.

Thanks again to everyone who has appeared on the podcast. And I hope more guys will step up and do the show themselves soon.

Would love to do a show about brain fog. I have one guest lined up, would like to have a second brain fog victim to join us, have two guys on the air at once to talk about brain fog. Anyone interested?

Excellent idea – because the ED symptom often overshadows cognitive dysfunction.

But the latter can be even more devastating.

Forum user, scaredoutofmymind complains of brain for regularly

I would like to hear his story
