oscar's Hormone & Blood Test results

I recently saw a Neurologist, primarily due to my continual muscle loss (which is now so severe it is painful to sit down). The guy I saw had never heard of Finasteride or its effects on neurosteroids and basically did not listen to a word I said to him. This was his conclusion:

“…no suggestion of Autonomic Neuropathy or a Neuromuscular Disorder… examination was normal, I could not detect muscle wasting or weakness and there was no evidence of Myotonia”.

Some more blood test results:

Creatine Kinase 89 IU/L (38 - 204)

I performed this test to see if my muscle wasting was due to an autoimmune reaction. Also based on this side effect reported from finasteride (see viewtopic.php?f=8&t=589)

3aDiolG 13.00 ug/l (2.20 - 26.00)

I have the highest reported 3aDiolG on the forum. I actually phoned the lab to see if they had put the decimal point in the wrong place or given me a ‘default’ value (my DHT results where EXACTLY the same as another UK member’s). It is also strange given that my Testosterone is in the bottom 1% for a man of my age. So I dont know what to make of it.

Immunoglobulin E (IgE) 691 kU/L (0-120)

What does this mean oscar?

Its a response to worms in your stomach, which you believe is bullshit… That’s why you’re not better. Keep living in your fantasy world…

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immunoglobulin_E

Its a response to worms/parasites which you believe is BS… Keep believing its bs… you’ll suffer the worst bc of it.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immunoglobulin_E

I think it means I suffered an allergic reaction to finasteride. This is a common reason for adverse drug reactions. Unfortunately a search of “ige” only reveals that one other person has posted results of this test so I dont know how specific it is to me.

He wsa high too, not as high as you though.

Myoglobin (serum) 29.9 ug/l (28 - 72)

Thyroid peroxidase antibodies <5.0 IU/ml (0 - 34)

Prolactin 215 mU/L (56 - 282)

Dont know whats causing my muscle loss. Better find out soon or Im fucked.

Recently had a penis doppler. This is where they inject the penis with caverject and perform ultrasound imaging.

The state of my penis is pretty bad, I would describe it as a useless numb collagen tube. I can feel that the tissue has become harder and it has also shrunk.

So I was surprised to learn that the results where normal. Normal blood flow, no calcifications, no detectible legions or scar tissue.

Interesting, thx for update. Did the Uro provide any ulterior suggestions as to why the shrinkage/hardness might be occurring?

No. The urologist would only repeat that the test is normal and doesnt show anything. He didnt give me any information as to what might be happening.

I will be having different tests in the future, hopefully this will build a better picture of whats going on.

Sounds like good news. Are you using anything to help perserve the tissue; ie, l-arginine, cialis, dht gel? What’s concerning for me is that even if I’m able to achieve a full erection I’m still dramatically shrunk up.

Used cialis for a while to prevent scar tissue forming, but its just too expensive to do on a regular basis. I use l-arganine on and off but I usually end up skipping months and then restarting. Basically Im not doing anything religiously.

I tried DHT gel locally for about a week. I actually think its this and TRT that triggered my shrinkage because I was OK until I tried that route.

One other thing, my Total Testosterone is the lowest its ever been at 10 nmol (8-30), but I have more energy over the last few months than at any time for several years.

-Have you considered trying an alpha-blocker to see if it helps with the penis shrinkage and atrophy? Every time I take MiniPress it makes my penis go from small, constricted, veiny, discolored, and numb to a normal sized, feeling (relative), and looking penis. A few others have PMed me after taking it and notice the same results.

-This appears to be the cheapest site for Cialis, Viagra, and Levitra. My buddy says they are legit. I just ordered a combo pack so I will know for sure soon. They do ship to the UK and other EU nations… mpresearchsupply.com/store/

-You are not the only one that has tested normal 3a-diol-G levels. A few others have as well. Mine came back normal, but when I tested it I was taking testosterone, so it would have been interesting to see what it was when I was off testosterone and my T levels were low.

-To affirm what you notice…right now my T levels are 99, which is lower than the majority of females. However, I feel the same (maybe better) than when I get those levels anywhere normal or high for males (600-1,200). When your T levels were semi-low pre-finasteride…did you have any sexual symptoms?

-IgE test is interesting as it is really the ONLY test so far considerably out of range for you. Are you the only one who has tested for it??

Antinuclear Antibodies - Negative
Mitochondrial Antibodies - Negative
Smooth Muscle Antibodies - Negative
Liver Kidney Microsomal Antibodies - Negative

Immunoglobulin G Subclasses

IgG1 7.18 g/L 4.9 - 11.4
IgG2 4.06 g/L 1.5 - 6.4
IgG3 0.16 g/L 0.20 - 1.10 ***Low
IgG4 1.01 g/L 0.08 - 1.40

what IgG3 low indicates?
have you tested your collagen ever?

Hey mate my igf3 was low to, I’m guessing your dealing with premature wrinkles aswell?
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IGFBP3

That was a test for IgG not IGF. I have not tested Growth hormones, not becuase I dont have the symptoms, but because as I understand it the test is complicated.

Low IgG3 doesnt provide a definitive diagnosis, other than I have some disregulation of the immune system.

I recently had a Nocturnal Penile Tumuscence Test (NPT).

This is where nocturnal erections are measured overnight using two loops that go around the penis (a Rigiscan). Its very difficult to sleep with it attached - the loops are actually quite painful. Its also an easy test to fake if you dont sleep. Overall I found it quite a ridiculous experience.

Apparently I had no erections. The doctor asked me “did you fall asleep?”. I explained only a few hours. However as a result I have now been promised EMG and SSEP tests. Which should finally provide an objective diagnosis.

good man.
