I’ve decided to delete my post and just see what happens… its too soon for me to decide that my side effects are permanent. getting myself too worked up over something that may not even be an issue in the long run
I know how you feel. I’m 18 and not dealing with girls anymore, because I just can’t perform. They want me, so I have to think excuses how to get away.
We’re all pretty much in the same boat as you. I’ve been avoiding sexual intercourse since I took the pills 3 years ago as I know I can’t perform with the weakened libido.
I’d suggest you hit the doctors office to get some bloodwork done of your hormones, look into the blood tests forum section and gather information of what kind of samples you should get tested.
Report back to the forum with the values. By doing this you’d help yourself and others as some clever minds here currently are trying to crack this problem and find the solution for all of us.
I know how you feel right now, it sucks alot, but try to man up and look into the recoveries section, some people have done well to get back to square. You might also be one of those, or you might not. Time will tell.
Remember you’re not alone with this, this is a common problem for all of us and this is a battle we will win, eventually.

That depends on the doc. You might have to find one who will believe your issue if you are that hellbent on getting a prescription. In the meantime I gave you my suggestions – review Natural Supplements section, try horny goat weed and maybe some L-Arginine… these are available over the counter and could help you get through the rough patch.
That’s not true – the majority of members read this site voraciously and tend to check every post, due to the nature of our issues and desire for any insights.

Why not book a flight with Dr. Crisler(he’s the best) so your not wasting your time with these incompetent doctors…Forewarning you, I’ve dealth with over 4 doctors that didnt do jack sh*t.

I empathize about the ED drugs issue, they are ridiculously expensive. I’m 22 as well, although in my case my GP gave me a sample of Levitra right away (didn’t do shit).
However there are reputable online sources, the best one that I’m aware of (and have used twice with success) is 4rx.com. Look into them, you’ll find they have a solid reputation, and if you order in bulk, Viagra is less than $1 a pill. I believe the pills come from Mexico, but they definitely work, I’ve been using them one out of every 3 nights for a year to help stimulate nocturnal erections.

i have decided that I am no longer going to disclose any personal information regarding my side effects or recovery on the internet… lets just say I stopped using fin 2 weeks ago, had some nasty side effects, still have some… but they are improving. there is hope for people who are only suffering from short term sides or withdrawl symptoms
please keep us posted on your status/progress.
if you’re having trouble sleeping every night, read about Tyrosine supplementation. It has helped me a little.
I take it that the base of your penis is dramatically less thick and your testicles are smaller (?). not to mention being joyless.
If you want someone to talk to about this, some of us on here are willing. private msg me or anyone here. a lot of people here just aren’t recovering.

I can’t… the tab key doesnt work in the text box on these forums. The best I can do is hit enter a few times but even that does not provide me with any type of proper paragraph formation. Thanks for your input though
Pressing ENTER a few times to create space between paragraphs is totally fine. They don’t have to be indented, just space to break up the big block of text.
saw another doctor… he was very understanding and gave me a script for blood tests saying that propecia can cause hypogonadism. My symptoms are really improving, I am almost 100 percent back to normal but I’m gonna get the test and see whats up anyway just out of curiosity.
I figured I’d update this thread… I have not improved, I crashed and my symptoms are back to square one.
