I’m glad to see others are thinking the same things I am about organizing and exposing the truth to a wider audience.
I think a YouTube video is a great way to get traction, and possibly go viral… but telling this horror story is not exactly something the general public will watch or recommend to other people. It has to be worthy of spreading.
Here’s my own thoughts on a what is needed in a YouTube vid…
Drama (yep, we have tons of this component)
Humor (this ain’t funny, but funny videos go viral)
- I think it would be possible to do a Parody on Propecia, Merck and the FDA’s response to our plight and make it funny but scary and serious at the same time. The humor could come from the interviewers responses, facial expressions, crazy background sounds, video effects etc.
A group of PFS guys in the video, each sharing a snapshot of their plight
A very pretty girl to act as the interviewer, who starts out trying to tell us it’s in our heads, then ultimately becomes horrified at the truth. (Think of the skits done on the John Stewart show).
And two people to play the parts of FDA and Ken Frasier.
The video should be in HD for quality.
Since we are all spread out around the globe, we could use some sort of screen play or story line and ask guys to record their videos and then compile and edit all the various clips into a full YouTube video.
All we have currently are individual voices, spread out in so many areas and only telling their own story.
This whole thing needs to be brought together into a collaboration, showing the world how serious PFS is, and how much damage is being done, not only to Men, but to families, marriages, girlfriends, fiances, kids of divorce, financial losses and even losses to the governments who would otherwise be collecting taxes.
