Interesting. While reading Phantoms in the Brain the other month, I came across a section briefly explicating the structure, function, and various pathologies which can emerge from disruption of the hypothalamus. The symptoms mentioned aligned so closely with PFS that I immediately hopped on this forum, searched for “hyopthalamus,” and I found a thread from over 14 years ago that struck me as perhaps the most cogent and compelling investigation into the pathogenesis of this condition that I had read up to that point.
The way out, however… now that’s the rub, isn’t it?

Wait is there any other foundation researching PFS. If yes, why aren’t we closely working with them?
