Jin Stewart Kills PFS

As I’ve been experimenting and tinkering with fexofenadine and a little dramamine the mental sides have been almost erased. That’s since Monday.

I’ll just repeat that. MY MENTAL SIDES HAVE PRETTY MUCH GONE!

Dosages have been either 180mg fexofenadine last thing before sleep and once or twice tried 90mg fexofenadine and dramamine original (the drowsy sort) 25mg (that’s half a tablet of each.) Got any ideas what’s happening? Bear in mind I took 90mg fexofenadine every day for about three years pre-PFS (allergies to my cat) and this seems to be “filling in a gap” taking it again. Honestly the world is starting to look and feel like before, like a barrier got broken and I slipped through it. The planet doesn’t feel like a PFS struggle at this point it feels like a place full of sky and ‘holiday feeling’ - hard to describe, but reminds me of when you’re on holiday, just got up and had breakfast and no work to do just getting out and starting the day. That feeling…

Sleep is BETTER but not pre-fin at all. Fall asleep within 30 mins of the fexo/drama around 23:00 and usually wake up a bit wired around 4:30-5:30 and can’t ever quite nod off again. It’s also not “fully restful” somehow.

Sexually no change, still not great. No nocturnals, slight mornings, some arousal but fade quickly.

Current supps list so we’re up-to-date is:

AM:
Wormwood, clove, holy basil and black walnut hull tincture -OR- Phellostatin, which I run 8 tabs/day (4/am 4/pm) [IHP rotated these, today back on Phellostatin. 2 weeks then swap]
Tbsp diatomaceous earth mixed in
Occasional VSL probiotic mixed in
Multivitamin (Couple of times a week)
Nystatin 5 tabs 500,000 strength
Sodium butyrate ( a weird polish one, says " Butyrate sodium 1100 mg including butyric acid 340 mg") 2 or 3 tabs
BioKult probiotic 1 tab
licorice root 450mg
kudzu root 500mg
Butea Superba (Swanson) 4 tabs
Tribulus (mediherb) 2 tablets, cycling this in long cycles as per Apr1989.

During the day:
Some probiotics with food (Bioglan Biotic Balance) at work, NOW brand Super Enzymes or Viridian digestive aid (3-4 tabs) too with meals.
Dr Mercola complete probiotics (triple dosages throughout the day.)
Nystatin 5 tabs 500,000 strength
“Restore” gut health supplement liquid - double dose at least throughout the day.
Tribulus at lunch, 2 tabs or cycle dependent.

PM:
Sodium butyrate 2 or 3 tabs
BioKult probiotic 1 tab
BioNutri Taracyn 1 tab
BioButri Eco Balance 1 strip of tablets
Gut protocol drink
Wormwood, clove and black walnut hull tablets. 1 of each on the non-Phellostatin weeks
About 250ml colloidal silver, 30ppm
Nystatin 5 tabs 500,000 strength
Butea Superba (Swanson) 4 tabs
Tribulus (mediherb) 2 tablets
Before bed - dramamine 25mg and/or fexofenadine 90/180mg

So, if fexofenadine and dramamine are working, is that H1 receptor? Is it anti-allergy as they’re supposed to be and working as they should? Something else? Would dramamine be BETTER as it crossed bbb more readily? I know fexifenadine shouldn’t make ppl drowsy but it does seem to help me sleep a little bit. Who knows! lol. Might be worth trying the dramamine and fexofenadine on separate weeks and see which week (if any) is better, then we’d know if it’s the gen1 or gen2 antihistamine action doing me some good but to be perfectly honest I don’t think I’ve got another week of ANY mental symptoms if this improvement continues, I’m pretty much cognitively there now. Just dick, libido and sleep to improve. There’s an “amorousness” coming back though.

This is all rather epic.

If you want to look at this seriously, I would maybe cut out all the other supplements your taking for the moment and focus on the antihistamine. I would maybe take it during the day as well (at least the non-drowsy kind) so you know exactly what its doing. Also realize there could be a rebound histamine effect as well. Its part of the reason they dont recommend benadryl as a long term sleep aid because people build a tolerance to it.
Also zyrtec might be more potent than allegra.
Also there’s h2 blockers that might be more involved in sexual function and a plethora of other functions as well.
Pepcid ac is the most potent and selective, while tagamet is known to cause sexual dysfunction.
Is there a window where too much histamine is also detrimental? I have maybe seen that possibility in a few studies.
Idk though i have gone this whole route before ^ looking at all of this.
I did feel some more clarity with allegra myself at times, but I also noticed some other things after awhile that concerned me. Such as increased spastic movement or tics, anger, aggression, worsening facial inflammation or flushing/redness, idk.

anyway on benadryl, now could too much histamine cause the same problems? idk.

CAN ALLERGY MEDICATIONS HARM YOUR BRAIN?

https://www.alzdiscovery.org/cognitive-vitality/blog/can-allergy-medications-harm-your-brain
Diphenhydramine (e.g., Benadryl®) is a first-generation antihistamine medication [1]. In addition to treating allergy and cold symptoms such as sneezing and watery eyes, it also blocks the actions of acetylcholine. This is a neurotransmitter that is important for brain functions including learning and memory. Diphenhydramine is classified as an anticholinergic drug, and a study of this class of drug found that increased use is associated with an up to 54% increased risk of dementia [2].

In the short-term, side effects of diphenhydramine can include dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, blurred vision, sedation, difficulty urinating, constipation, and low blood pressure [3]. Multiple high-quality human trials have shown that diphenhydramine impairs cognitive functions such as alertness [4], attention [5], memory [5][6][7], executive function [8], reaction time [7], and vigilance [5]. These studies also reported that diphenhydramine increased fatigue and sleepiness while decreasing motivation [5]. An observational study of older hospitalized patients reported that diphenhydramine treatment significantly increased risk for delirium symptoms, including inattention, disorganized speech, and altered consciousness [9]. Older adults with kidney or liver impairment are especially prone to these adverse effects [1]. In fact, diphenhydramine is listed as inappropriate on the Beer’s Criteria for Potentially Inappropriate Medication Use in Older Adults [10].

OK, last Friday I quit almost all supps for a bit and improvements continue to creep along. Sleep still sucks but last night was better. Didn’t want to post updates to make it sound like I’m mending, but (let me phrase the following correctly) after a run of licorice root, kudzu root and nystatin (and others as above) and cutting down to the following I do seem to be improving mentally. Sexually no improvement, although masturbation doesn’t crash me anymore.

Supps are now near nothing. Digestive enzymes with every meal (usually 3 pills of Enzymedica Digest Gold with breakfast and lunch and 4 pills of NOW enzymes with dinner.) I also sip a little Restore gut health liquid supplement 1-2 times/day (finishing this up) and a few (3-6) tablets of probiotics throughout the day (Dr Mercola and BioKult.) Multivitamin 2-3 times a week.

Diet is usually something like:

Breakfast - 3-4 chicken thighs fried in ghee, boiled broccolli/cauliflower. Maybe 3-4 olives.
Lunch - same
Dinner - microwaved large sweet potato, brocolli/cauliflower (EOD), four eggs, many/mix of steaks/chicken thighs/lamb chops/mince all fried in ghee.

Drink beet and carrot juice throughout the day (maybe 1-1.5l of them mixed) and water at gym. Pau D’Arco tea also through the day.

Just sharing a little positivity, if nothing else. I’ll stay off everything until at least next weekend and take some bloods then too.

Longer term IDK now - run this again? Test Prop/HCG and massive PCT? Microdose fin (yeesh)? Will give it a week or two and see how this pans out.

Quick update then. Slowly but surely I’ve seen a trend in mental sides getting better. Quality of life/sense of wellbeing and world immersion I’d say are improving. I’ve come to realise those are “things” and these things are getting better, no doubt. Temporarily or forever who knows. Day by day almost they stay the same or very slightly improve.

Sleep I’m VERY cautious in saying is going the same way. Gradual improvements trending up.

Sexually however nothing major, I’d say almost slightly worse… weak nocturnals and mornings sometimes though but nothing much “responsive” and less from stimulation I guess, but I seem a little less bothered about that. Like it’ll even get better when it’s ready? Either way less freaked out by it. Coping.

God I wish I didn’t have PFS that’s for sure…

@jinstewart
Your last report with the slight progress sounds hopeful.
Are you following a specific diet? Do you fast sometimes?

Hi there. Yes and yes.

Diet is pretty regular, I have since PFS been attempting some sort of diet or another. I’ve not really got a direction specifically now, just try to stay within a few parameters that have helped people before. Went carnivore for a month or two over the summer, not sure how much it helped. Crept veggies back in (mostly cauliflower and broccoli and at nights sweet potato) and now it’ll usually be:

Breakfast - four chicken thighs (cold) from the fridge, fried in ghee, broccoli.

Lunch - same/similar, maybe beef. Some new potatoes.

Dinner - steaks/lamb chops/chicken thighs (mix of LOTS of those) fried in ghee or oven roasted, 4-5 fried eggs, sweet potato, small amount of broccoli or cauliflower.

Throughout the day beetroot/carrot juice (slowing the beetroot juice a bit) and Pau D’Arco tea.

Have a rare cheat meal sometimes in fish and chips (Londoner you see) but it is rare - I wouldn’t even say monthly. No caffeine, sometimes coconut water but that’s it.

I’m not sure if diet has helped hugely or not to be honest, but I’m a bodybuilder of old (pre PFS anyway) so I’m used to quite regimented eating. I just think gluten free paleo anti-candida a bit and guided by that really. The ghee is cheap enough and Ozeph uses it, seems fair enough to incorporate.

Oh and I’ll do an occasional 24-48 hour fast. About every month-6 weeks.

Jin, which supplements and probiotics do you think most improved your libido and erection?

Hi dae1. I’m not sure any did enormously really, sorry. Viagra and cialis definitely help, that’s about it.

How’s it going man?

Jin, any updates with trt?

Hello all - just a quick message as I’ve deliberately stayed off the forums for a bit.

To put it briefly, improved a little bit on-cycle, dropped the masteron after a couple of weeks and just went with 120mg test prop EOD.

I’m extending the PCT to 5 weeks now, so the two middle weeks are now 11 days on the higher dose clomid and then 10 days on the lower dose before the final week of no clomid, just nolva and hcg.

Since PCT started I have felt dramatically better. No improvement sexually, maybe even a little worse, but the VIBRANCY of LIFE and the feeling of the world is back. Sleep is a tiny bit better, but digestion has gotten AMAZING and I have been eating garbage and loving it I must say. It makes a change not to have crippling diarrhea and just poop normal. Also ammonia smell from poop is gone.

Still off the caffeine, I may do for a long while.

Has to be said that feeling better isn’t the same as feeling emotionally better. I miss my ex SO SO SO much and I cry a lot. But that ache of despair and loneliness still feels like it’s good, because it’s something. If you understand what I mean. That emotion came back so strong and all these little “supporting” and “buffer” emotions started slooowly fading in again.

Work is just night and day better too. I’m focused and working hard.

I’m improving and, even if fleeting, I needed to share a little hope and optimism. And I’m not a religious man (and rather think no God would allow this to happen) but I would love to receive positive thoughts and vibes. I send all my very best to you all.

Keep me in mind boys and girls. I’m hoping this does SOMETHING if not fully everything…

It’s the weekend tomorrow and I’m ACTUALLY, GENUINELY looking forward to it for the first time in about 18 months of hell.

I’ll probably report back around end of March/April time after PCT plus a few weeks. I took a lot of bloods too. Only thing that made me ponder though in the bloods is prog dropped tons at the start but then rose again. Could that have coincided with the masteron I wonder? Not sure, but if there is a next cycle I’ll stick to masteron too for the duration.

Again wish me all the very very best.

Any updates?

Some. Just a quick summary, and save me skirting around things by saying “I believe this has helped” or “at the same time as taking XYZ I noticed ABC improved” it’s accurate to say that since PCT I ran a high dose few weeks of Saint John’s Wort and since then:

  • Sleep was pre-fin. Maybe at points slightly worse or even slightly better. If I sleep in too long (10+ hours) my sour headache thing creeps in a tiny bit, to varying degrees.

  • Digestion was pre-fin. I can eat garbage and really have done.

  • Mentally SO SO SO MUCH BETTER and more clarity and “world immersion.” Despite being an impotent and unfit POS now I do actually indulge hobbies a bit.

Not-so-good bits are:

  • Joints carried on hurting. This started somewhere on the cycle I think but could have been a little earlier. Or even right at the beginning. I have (for now) quit gym.

  • Sexually no improvements stuck. Morning woods on and off but nothing major to report.

Although, take the above with a grain of salt or three and also as a bit transitory as I’m 3 weeks into a big proviron run and I’m stirring things up again. Memory here isn’t amazing atm and I’m a bit spacey.

Keep in mind that CDNuts it is a fraud. He is a salesman that sales Supplements. Don´t loose much your time with this supplements, they all have some benefits, but not much solution for PFS.
Search for CDNuts here.

No need to search, I know who cdnuts is and the protocol. And FWIW although I’m not entirely convinced in it, I’m also not convinced there’s no merit in it.

That’s for another topic though. Not something I’m pursuing currently.
