You posted this under cdnut’s recovery thread but mentioned chi’s recovery…

Which members method did you use? CDnuts? Or Chi?

If you followed CD nuts method did you use ANDRO HARD?

If not androhard did you use another type of Prohormone that’s known to convert to DHT?

Did you do a water fast or juice fast that CDnuts recommended before starting his method?

If you did CDnuts method how close did you follow it and if made any tweeks what where they?

I used a little of cdnuts method at first and then switched over to chi’s. I tried a DHT prohormone (epistane andro) for about a week or two but get too tired. Tried t-boosters for a weeks as I’ve said and they just sort of lost their “punch” even when cycling once a week, seemed counterproductive after a while. I didn’t do a fast. Probably not worth it at this point. Will update in 6 months. I incorporated more and more running (mostly sprinting with intermittent jogs) as I felt better and better as did chi. Good luck!

I’ve been lurking for a while, gaining information and building a recovery plan, not just from this site but plenty of others too - there are actually hundreds of recoveries from this if you look hard enough. Not sure why the naysayers just focus on this site and ask where all the recovery stories are.
You and cdnuts are pretty inspirational. There’s clear common denominators for those that have recovered. One of them is to fuck off from this website for a while to do it!
That’s exactly what i’m going to do for one year. I’ve already recovered 50% following healthy diet and exercise which i’ve gradually bettered on and increased in intensity all the time. I’m now following the paleo type diet except with carb back loading like cd nuts. No caffeine, no alcohol or any intoxicants at all. Not done the fast, but am doing intermittent fasting which has worked well with other recoveries like Mitch. Also you didn’t do the 2 week fast either. I also exercise pretty much the same as you and cdnuts.
I take the T boosters too - cycled - and although have ordered the epi andro from iron mags, not sure i’m going to use it, still thinking about that one. I like to have everything in hand though, as this reduces stress etc.
I take the PCT stack from wicked supplements. Raising LH occasionally in cycles cannot hurt to keep things working while you create conditions for recovery.
The above is a very brief outline of what i am doing, in fact there’s lots of detail that i will post if i make further gains in a year. It is basically a mash of what you, Chi, Mitch and Cdnuts have done, along with many other common denominators found from reading tens of other recovery stories on the web.
I have made major gains recently that is for sure, but i have plenty to go. Every week my will gets stronger and i am able to better my programme with more discipline.
Like i say, i now need to leave for a while, forget i have this condition and just incorporate everything i do as normal life. I believe that may account for the extra 25% you are looking for too. Reading all this stuff will have a sub conscious effect on all of us.
Anyway, the major point of writing here is to create a footprint that i can refer to when i recover to add to the weight of other recoveries. There are plenty content to argue against recovery attempts, which i find just unbelievable, so we must show others there is a way forward.
I’m going now, and i will not look at this site again for another year. I fully expect you will have recovered by then and look forward to reading your recovery post. Thanks though for the information and the inspiration you and others have provided for me. No thanks to those hundreds of posts that just choose to mock those trying and even those succeeding (those people are strange, what is the point of them? One responded to my member story by calling cdnuts, and you etc. cowards!).

No potatoes or starchy types (rice, bread, etc…). Fruit limited to two a day at most.

Do I ran and where eating palo?

That’s what you contribute toward your recovery?

when you originally crashed did you lose body odor and lack sweat in your armpits and feet?

I’ve been on this thread ever since it appeared from CDnuts more than a year ago. I’ve followed his program and have made noticeable improvements. However, I will say that I have had to modify his program a bit towards the end of my 3rd cycle. I was able to source some Androhard before it fully disappeared. The cost was significant. I paid almost $500 for one bottle. Add it all up and it was big dollars for me but I figured in the long run it would be worth it. I continued to do my research, all the while following his program.
Some of the benefits include:
Increase in sexual drive and ability to maintain erection
Orgasm strength improvements
Better quality of sleep
Physically more like a man (harder muscles)
Also, and best of all (the sex has been good enough that women are now wanting me to stay with them the night and have a relationship) - at the same time, I have become more concerned with finding someone to become crazy in love with, like I had in the past. So mentally, I’m coming back.
I’m still not a %100 - more like %50 to %60 maybe which is WAY better from where I was.

I had to modify his approach because even though Primordial Performance products are low on the side effects, they are still suppressive to some extent. (PP products are by far the best quality products ever produced) I found by the end of my third cycle somewhat suppressed and a little worse off than the end of my second cycle (which was great).
From my research, I determined cycling wasn’t the most effect way to assist in MY recovery. I now use a very small amount on a daily basis and have been doing so for several months now. For instance, when I would cycle - I would do 6 Gel Caps per day but now I’m down to only 1 a day split into two doses. You see, the body will only manufacture roughly .5mgs to 1mgs of DHT per day - the conversion ratio for 1 gel Cap is about .8 to 1.25 mg per day (or higher depending on the AndroHard Product – V2 or V3). Any more than that seems to do the reverse affect for me. However, my body absolutely loved 6 Gel Caps a day to build muscle and shed fat.
I’ve tried Forerunner labs AlphaHard and AlphaMass. Some would ask, why would I have tried AlphaMass - the reason is that 1-Testosterone is a derivative of DHT and is 7 times more powerful than testosterone. That being said, an even smaller amount of this should be used if desired. AlphaHard and AlphaMass are strong products. The only issues I have with them are their delivery methods which aren’t nearly as good as Primordial Performance products. Plus, you’ll have to double the dosage - so 1 Gel Cap of AndroHard is like 2 tabs of AlphaHard - you might even need 3 tabs since AlphaHard doesn’t have the ester. I’m thinking about possibly buying some AndroDrive or AndroLean (if there’s any still around) to piggy back off the delivery system while using a small dose of Forerunner Labs AlphaHard (when I run out of AndroHard).
AndroDrive has some DHEA supplementation which I heard was very beneficial and AndroLean has cortisol control. I’m also looking at AndroMass from Primordial performance. I’ve tried this one in the past but didn’t like it as I was doing 6 Gel Caps a day. I realize now, that was way too much. I think 1 Gel Cap per day should work nicely as it is half AndroHard and provides a test boost with the 4-DHEA (caution: too much will be suppressive). At 1 Gel per day, this is much more affordable and SAFE. Soon, I plan to move to every other day and see how that goes. I believe my body is becoming accustomed to having androgens in my system again and I’m elevating my own body’s natural androgen homeostasis so that I can become my whole self again.

My experience is similar, lower dose DHT seems to be more beneficial over time versus larger doses. Also, I must mention Andractim as a great source for DHT, but do NOT follow the mfr dosing amounts. I only use two amounts about the size of a large peanut on each side of rib cage per Dr. Goldstein recommendation. The effects are very noticable.
So I’m remaining on a low dose TRT/HRT plan for the next 6 months, then new labs, then possibly switch back to Prohormones/CDNuts plan with natural Tboosting and see what happens. My goal is to get off the prescribed stuff.

I highly recommend Andractim. And considering a lower dose mentioned, the two tubes should last about 5 months or so. More cost effective that the prohormones. About $230 US for two tubes.

So it sounds like you benefited from cycling the andohard for 3 months but felt as if by the 3rd time cycling it you lost some of your improvements gained from the first 2 cycles?

Now you are more or less using the androhard as a low dose DHT replacment threapy? And that in your experience with using a half of pill of andohard per day you are at the best you have been sense this started for you?

I know you said you did his entire method. How did your fast go? And advice on how to complete a 2 week fast with out getting so sick to the point you experience job loss? Or other major issues?

Perhaps because he did several round of extended fasts and juice feasts before ever trying to “rebuild” or mess with hormones, and his cells were receptive to change, to paraphrase him?

So it seems like low dose prescription DHT is the best way to go if you are going the rout of TRT.
It’s intresting that even though this sounds like it’s working pretty good for you, you still would like to come off of everything. As awesone as it would be for me to be at your level (finding trt/HRT doses that would get be there) I know deep down inside I do not want to be on hormones for ever or to the long term.

If you goal was to do what cddnuts did by permanently inducing or fixing his damaged 5AR function what do you think the best course of action is:

  1. usr low dose prescription DHT for extended period of time knowing that this is more likely than not going to need to be accompanied by full blown HRT such as T, hcg and armidrx

Or

  1. do cyckes of higher dose DHT or DHT hormone with hopes that cycling it with pct and time off will make it so you can avoid T, and hcg

If the plan is to induce 5ar to see if that’s possible with upping your DHT levels and if it would make yo feel better?

Any thoughts?
