I'm cured

Yeah what about people who developed chronic diseases like me I have to take medications against high blood pressure and hypothyroidism. I’ve read that specially people with hypothyroidism have to be careful with water fasting

We are collecting applications and will make a decision on who will get the two spots within the next couple of weeks.

Hey guys,

You don’t have to water fast for 2 weeks, this is dependent on health and circumstance, CD will tell you the same. I water fasted for 4 days 3 times and i now intermittent fast twice a week, but if you are in pretty good shape and are in a position to do so, then the gold standard is that water fast for 14 days. This is the part of it along with prohormones that are to a degree optional, but you must kick off with either a juice feast or the big water fast and both CD and i will recommend regular water fasts of short periods in addition as they do you so much good, even when fully recovered.
Either way- 14 day fast or juice feast -both will cleanse your body, teach you the discipline you need to continue, and after that, the road is easy in comparison provided you believe.
If you end up coached by us we would both want you to ensure things like thyroid are in reasonable shape first as it is dangerous to do certain aspects of the regimen with such things overlooked, and it is easy to take bio-identical thyroid meds in order to progress and then ween off them later, however unless your thyroid is seriously fucked, it will rectify itself simply with the routine we advise and no meds, plenty of people achieve this.
There tend to be two key areas that are often broken or dissabled with pfs sufferers, gut function and/or thyroid. Then you have issues of the mind that get in the way of these two being recovered. If you fix the gut, thyroid and the mind then everything else returns. The things we will advise are not rocket science, but it requires discipline, intelligence, grace, etc. to follow the regimen.
Anyway, this is CD’s area, but i’ve talked to him about the issue of fasting fairly recently so know that this is also his take on it. I will help you with mental issues, one week with me, one week with him, that’s what we will be offering.

You should apply, the reason the guy above hasn’t heard back is because we are waiting a month to give everyone enough time to see the opportunity. CD will be making the calls on selection.
Remember, no reason whatsoever why you shouldn’t crack on now with the regimen, all the info is there on CD’s thread, and you can read my stuff too on member stories under “English” Not “Engish1” for reasons explained there, while you’re at it read chi’s stuff too as he recovered using diet and exercise (he was full on!). Of course when CD launches the web site, things will be easier to digest and there will be plenty more stuff to do too that we’ve learned since posting here, but all the core stuff is here already, you should get on with it IMO.

cdnuts, just for info, should you need some support in one way or another with the set up of this then do reach out. Happy to do a video/interview for the website or provide some content. Great idea and will be a good reveal of how deep you have to go and how much you have to change your life in order to get better. All the best, Chi

thanks to CDnuts for this detailed recovery, much appreciated and helpful. i would like to do a water fast or juice feast as i do in fact have gut problems from propecia, but i only way about 70kg in weight so doing a water fast for 14 days would drop my weight to low??. would doing 3 x 4 day water fasts like English suggested be enough to help.

also im going to start intermittent fasting only eating between 12-8pm a day starting this week.

any ideas for someone who has a low weight to clean my but/bowels and start trying to beat this

thanks josh

Hey Chi,
I’ve never spoken with you but your posts and the things you did formed a large part of my own recovery plan, so a big thank you my friend for writing your stuff. I’m better than ever now after 2 years. How are you? I take it still 100% right?
I’ve no doubt CD will take you up on your offer as we need to build belief in people before starting the regimen, and guys like you are an inspiration, you certainly were to me.

English & Cdnuts:

I supported this idea initially, however I applied for it myself over two months ago and was told you would let me know one way or another. I haven’t heard a response. I think it’s cruel to dangle the prospect of help in front of people who have already been through enough.

Can you tell us what is happening?

Okay, then just let me know what your name is and I’ll take you out of the massive list I have. We would’t want to accidentally pick you seeing as it’s not something you support anymore because it’s not happening fast enough for you.

If you think this is taking too long, you may as well just leave this site altogether. I can tell you that this will be much quicker than:

The clinical trials that are going to produce a magical pill to cure everyone…

And the lawsuit, which I am part of, which has been on going for maybe four or five years, maybe longer.

For those still interested, we are just about finished weeding through the applicants we have (which was quite significant, more then I thought it was going to be) and should be alerting everyone via email on our decisions within the next week or two.

Hello all

I 'm new to this forum , i took propecia 8 months ago for only one month and i got PFS since then .

I am really interested to join you guys with cdnuts plan

Hello i’m new here, I’ve had pfs side effects since late 2015, I’ve been doing a lot of reading since then trying to find out whats happening to my body. I’ve been reading a story from a guy called Josh, Its a very good read and i’d recommend it to anyone with pfs sides. He puts a lot of our symptoms down to ‘inflammation of our insides like the gut’ which would explain why so many have lots of positives after doing a fast, it would also explain why i’m not able to stomach high calorie protein drinks anymore with out feeling like i’m going to spew or go to toilet, I’ve also read a few recovery stories from guys using lots of anti oxidants and detoxing. I really think this is the problem with us, And until we fix our insides many of these protocols dont work bar the exception of CDnuts who was fasting which is good to ‘heal’ your insides.

P.s my grammar is awful but i hope you get what i mean

About detoxifying substances … Some of you will certainly have noticed the fact that taking substances such as herbal teas to dandelion, nettle, fennel, detoxifying or homeopathic or natural products, our body develops a feeling similar to the fever, which steps if we stop to take it? It can be a positive response of “cleaning” the toxins created by the malfunction … someone else noticed this?

does it cause a fever, have you measured it? or does it cause a flushing and you start sweating and feel unconfortable?

No rise in temperature with the thermometer, but a sensation of malaise and discomfort much like fever…
When i stop these purifying substances, after a day’m really good!

This happens with “Galium heel” for example, or other purifying substance.
It is as if the movement of toxins, thanks to these substances, induce antibodies to react.

I agree with Ginge 1612 but which leaky gut test(s) are worth considering e.g. NHS gut lining test or others?

I have a small number of questions to clarify some details of your protocol – can I send these to you?. Also how would I apply for the support that you mentioned?

Not sure how to start a topic or whaever so just gonna put this on here. I have cured myself and this is how…

Firstly, and most importantly I would like to say that PFS is nothing but a rebranded name for something far less serious. I wish this forum didn’t exist in all honesty, I think its done more harm than good to anyone and I’m hopefully here to change that. I can say that I have fully recovered from the symptoms and it was a horrible experience that I wouldn’t wish on my own worst enemy. For those on the road to recovery, you’ll know it’s very much an up and down with big potholes along the way. Some times you will have weeks of near normality then suddenly out of nowhere… BOOOM! Its back with a vengeance… but you have to stay strong. I’m gonna say something extremely controversial here… I am almost glad I went through it. I now appreciate things a lot more, eat healthier and cleaner, more conscious of health and mental wellbeing and have an all round better perspective on things. I just wanted to read something positive when I started experiencing ‘PFS’ but this forum is full of negativity and it only made me worse. So do yourself a favour and copy and paste what I’m about to say below and never comeback to this forum again!

It’s sadly not simple, what you are actually experiencing is a hormonal imbalance or ‘Adrenal Fatigue’ (however this term isn’t widely accepted in the medical world) hence why doctors don’t have a clue what to do. It doesn’t matter what drug has caused this whether it be Finasteride, Saw Palmetto, Dutasteride etc… the symptoms are all more or less the same and I can quite confidentially say the recommendations I give will benefit you.

I actually took what would be considered to be the stronger of the lot ‘Dutasteride’ for 4 years and after accidentally failing to reorder the drug (from an online pharmacy… how fucking stupid was i??) i experienced what can only be described as sheer doom, a lifeless dick, near fainting brainfog, paranoia, insomnia you name it I had it…

After extensive research I came across others who had managed to break the cycle and recover fully back to normal. I noticed that all these people who had recovered had done so by following the same or similar steps (intentionally or not). They had all followed the recovery procedure for adrenal fatigue and lowering cortisol levels with my favourite ever supplement Ashwagandha being mentioned nearly every time. Recovery times will vary massively depending on various factors such as age, health etc. These are the following things that will help you on the road to recovery:

Ashwagandha (preferably in liquid form)
Zinc 30-45mgs (can’t stress this one enough, Zinc is my second favourite)
Sorghum Flour (put this in whatever food you can) this will help with DHT production by supporting the 5a-Reductase
Hemp Protein (Load up in the morning in particular) this offers the best protein you can get along with the perfect balance of omega oils.
Spirulina – Packed full of everything you need (this takes like fish food so do a shot with apple juice to neutralise the taste a bit if you cant hack it)
The best Probiotic Supplement you can get your hands on (healthy Gut = healthy everything)
Tulsi Tea – For daytime drink (carry teabags with you if you have to)
Chamomile Tea – Night time drink (to aid sleep and normalise cortisol levels)
Wild Salmon (omega oils for balancing hormones and Cortisol) AVOID Farmed salmon
Aloe Vera (help aid a healthy gut)
Organic Meats (expensive but worth it, far too many reasons to list)
Sea Salt/Electrolytes – Fundamental to restoring body function. With sea salt just swap it for regular table salt
Baths – A bath does wonders for relaxing, throw in some Himalayan salt for extra relaxation.
Lots and Lots of vegetables! (Ideally Organic)
Mango

Things to Avoid when possible
Caffeine
Alcohol
Sugar
Food with high GI
Drinking sugary drinks
Anything stimulant (including some herbs and natural supplements)
don’t become a recluse or ‘health nerd’ like I did, be a normal person and let recovery take its time… lifes too short to be too strict.

Other things that helped
Interval exercising (only short 30 minute intense sessions)
Laughing (there is an actual science behind this and it works miracles, so anything that makes you laugh… do it!) for me I downloaded all my favourite comedians standup shows and listened to them on the way to work even if I wasn’t in the mood.
Listening to Solfeggio tones (I ‘think’ this helped me… its partially backed by science anyways and helped me slip into a meditative state)
When you wake up in the morning appreciate everything positive in your life
Meditation (practice deep breathing)
Anything that helps you relax (stress is responsible for 70% of diseases… FACT)
When your dick starts working again don’t turn go firing your pistol at every given opportunity, producing sperm uses a shit load of nutrients up that are needed to help balance yourself out. (refer to nofap.com for benefits and help)

I’m only coming on this forum to post this one post. I suspect a lot of people recover and don’t bother to report it on here, I promised myself I wouldn’t do that, I know what you are going through and you need this advice, trust me. If this saves even one person from a ball of depression, then I’m happy. I will not be returning to the forum after this post, I just wanted to say my piece. Just follow this advice and don’t read the negative shit on here. Some people on here are stuck on endless cycle because they haven’t figured out what to do or how too do it. I believe one guy has even committed suicide because of this forum which is insane!!! seriously not that serious of a problem it just seems it because you most likely have an excess amount of the stress hormone Cortisol pumping around your system which goes hand in hand with this forum.

Do this for a few months, you’ll experience ups and downs some lasting days some lasting weeks but stay strong it will work. It took me 3 months to see any kind of results (erections returning, brain fog faded, mood improved, occasional good nights sleep etc) and 9 months to confidentially say I’m back to being normal. It may take longer it may take less, its completely dependant on the individual. Peace out!

Many Thanks

Hi All

New here and am looking to kick myself out of PFS issues.

I was on 1.25mg finasteride for 13 years and finally quit in Jan 2016. I have a lot of posts at Hairlosstalk under the same handle. Basically, and without really realising it, my libido was waning the whole time that I was on finasteride, to the point that by the end of 2015 i could only have sex using Viagra. I think things have recovered ever so slightly since I came off the drug. I have been eating well, training hard and now get morning erections on a semi regular basis. However, I still have absolutely zero libido and have difficulty getting erections at any other time without Viagra.

I want to start using Tongkat, Pine Pollen and some of the other herbs recommended in the recovery protocol. Is there anyone from Australia on here? I’m wondering where the best and most reputable place to buy Tongkat, Pine Pollen, etc in Australia is?

Thanks in advance.

Def

For those of you who are interested there is a growing group over at swole source who are dedicated to healing through the protocol that was developed over many years of experience.

People are healing and recovering their lives and are sharing their journey’s on that site. I’ve been made a moderator over there to handle the influx of PFS guys.

Also, if MEW allows it, my new site dedicated to helping guys reach their full potential naturally, is www.totalmaleoptimization.com. Most of the content is up and you can start using the information right away to better yourself. It’s all there, in detail for anyone who is willing to put it to use.

This will be my last post here as I’m going to disable my account.

Good luck.
