Iboga/Ibogaine

The fact that somebody claims to have recovered from using Ibogaine makes me want to try it again.

Who said they recovered?

popo said it bought him back to normal, see the first post on this topic.

Interesting. I know when I do MDMA I feel pretty much back to normal for the duration of the high and about a day or so afterward.

Now I am not advising anyone of doing anything of the sortā€¦ but I will say I recently went on a bender with some friends. This isnā€™t really out of the ordinary for me, but that night we decided to get some coke. I didnā€™t do much and had quite a hangover, but still feel mentally sharper days afterward.

Same happens to me with bromocriptine (dopamine agonist). Fasting helps me, but I didnā€™t managed to prolong it long enough. I will order forskolin soon, hope it will have some effect on dopamine receptors. I am also considering taking some dopamine antagonist, because that would certainly increase density of receptors, but i am not sure what would happen afterwards and are they safe to take in this f*ckin condition. I would really appreciate if there is someone who could give me some advice on this.

Funny you should mention that. My doctor actually wanted to start me on bromocriptine because my prolactin is high. Maybe itā€™ll have the same effect. Iā€™ll be sure to get as much banging in that window as possible. haha

I must come here to tell you i went back to pre ibogaĆÆne state months after, but thats ok with me, it was very profound in a lot of ways ,
i totally think it is a detox tool for sure albeit a heavy one, one should get familiair, as to what to expect when embarking on such a yourney.
I think amongst other things it rises vibrations, giving me very high libido, and well i used it accordingly lol, better it would have been to chanel those vibrations to higher levels in hope of retaining them.
In hope some people understand something of what i wrote.

Pope what PFS sides did you have ?

Just FYI, I mentioned bromocriptine in my previous post. I did a short run of it and didnā€™t notice anything other than nausea and massive increase in brain fog, to the point where I could barely read at times. It was pretty intense. Although that got me thinking. Phenibut totally eliminated my brain fog for a time, that stuff is basically giving you GABA but downregulating your receptors. Bromo is taking away GABA, but that should upregulate receptors over time. So maybe in the long run bromo would be beneficial. Who knows, though, all speculation.

@popo, in your original post you mention that you were on SSRIs for depression. Did you return to your depressive state after the Ibogaine wore off?

I was reading this because iā€™m thinking about trying iboga and bumped onto this post. Braziliandude, can you tell us what is that first drug that works on dopamine receptors ?

I had a dream the other about iboga. Have others tried this? What about those you did - are you doing better today?

Anyone else try Ibogaine ?

Trying to revive this threadā€¦Anyone really tried Ibogaineā€¦I mean real high doses as it is intended for drug addicts?

Idk what to think of it really. The kid seemed genuine but seems to good to be true in some way
