If i,m correct hcl is extracted ibogaïne only, with TA you get Total Alkoloids of the entire root, not only the component of ibogaïne.
People report hcl is more of a dark experience in regards to ta.
You should wait it out and report from your findings later on.
I didn’t sleep at all last night. I tried but was just not tired enough. Just lay in bed thinking. It felt great. I don’t even feel tired today after 4 days without sleep.
By the way, I’m smiling all the time. This is not usual for me because I usually have a lousy air on my face from feeling so shitty all the time. I think we got something.
I’ll probably go into some embarrassment later when I’ll go out. The cutting of bits of hair all over my head was not a good idea.
I,m inclined to think my liver was in better condition then yours maybe? Or because i vomitted and you didn,t maybe all speculation. I paid some intrest in my liver as in flushed it several times, and took plenty of herbs aiding in liver condition over the last few years, maybe my liver broke it down/transported it faster?.
Also our way of ingestion was different, i worked it all done in one go with water, wich made me vomit strong i dont know how long after i ingested.
Also i have not red many a case where there was no vomatting involved, i also did feel absolutely no hunger, for days and lost quite some weight, but you have to make yourself eat and drink, even if it does not taste that nice at first, it is the wise thing to do, after such time, and the stronger you will be in a day or 2, stay hydrated and get some quality rest, you will!
I had the two buckets next to my bed, but I don’t know if you really need two because you can still walk to the bathroom. At least, in my case, I was never totally incapable of moving. But maybe it was different for you.
In my case when i needed to vomit i had no 2 seconds to walk to the toilet, it was like projectile vomit with mucho energy.
Also in my case i could walk if i really wanted to but with some muscle spasms etc, but i had no interest in walking it seemed a hassle, also my toilet is on a different floor and a pretty long way from my bedroom, a bucket seemed easier.
I just used adderall for the first time yesterday. Shortly thereafter, I realized my penis had grew abnormally smaller. Could I please have the following questions answered?
How long will it take to return to normal?
What can I do to speed up the recovery?
Is there anything that I should not do while recovering?
Thank you very much.
That happened to me also. It coincided with cold hands and feet. Most of the side effects will go away over time. It took my body about 2 months to adjust. I still get cold hands and feet, but I also smoke, relatively low blood pressure, and the house is usually on the chilly side. I expect the cold extremities to dissolve with summer warmth.
One of the effects of Adderall, and all stimulants, is called vasoconstriction. Vasoconstriction, in layman’s terms, means a decrease in local blood flood. The decrease of blood flow happens because amphetamines narrow blood vessels; when a blood vessel is narrowed, less blood is able to get from point A to point B. This is happening everywhere in your body–often times, the penis is the only visible effect, since the penis contains no structural bone, and relies on blood to achieve it’s shape.
I take adderall quite infrequently but I have noticed decreased penis size especially while on it, and it seems to be for a couple days afterwards. It does not seem dependent on the mg dosage. I’m taking either 10mg or 20mg, never more. Please let me know, I haven’t found much on the internet about it.
Thanks!
and now what concerns me…
Yes, Adderall does indeed shrink the penis and has been well documented. Specifically. Adderall causes a break down of elastin and a shortening of the ligament that the base of the penis is attached. The combined effects shortened the penis in both its flacid and erect states. In addtion, there is evidence that signaling cascades may be initiated in the smooth muscle cells of the penis via a nitric oxide pathway that induces apoptosis or cell death in the penile tissue, thus physically reducing the actuall mass of the penis itself. The effects can be permanent as well. Incidentally, nicotine appears to illicit the same effects, especially on elastin.
The amphetamines in Adderall can bind to receptors that are normally activated by specific catecholamines produced by different glands in the body (including the hypothalamus and adrenal medulla). Amphetamine can also result in the release of more neurotransmitters that can activate sensory regions throughout the nervous system. When these psychostimulants activate receptors in the brain, the emotional response consists of euphoria, insomnia, increased alertness, and, sometimes, anxiety or psychosis. Peripherally, the binding of amphetamine compounds to catecholamine receptors can result in a physical response that may include the vasoconstriction of blood vessels, tachycardia, and hypertension [4, 5
Students may mistakenly believe that they could revert to their normal lifestyle and neural function by stopping Adderall use. However, studies have shown that misuse of Adderall and long-term use can permanently alter and damage the brain [14]. Since the amphetamines are able to prevent the reuptake of catecholamines such as dopamine back into the presynaptic neuron, dopamine is able to remain in the synapse for some time and lead to increased activation of the receptors on the postsynaptic neuron. However, reuptake is necessary to metabolize dopamine back into its components so that they can be recycled into making dopamine again. Without this reuptake, the dopamine gets washed away, thereby eliminating its components from the neurons and lowering the concentration of this catecholamine in the neural system [15]. Thus, Adderall “tricks the brain that it doesn’t need to make dopamine, and dopamine is the only chemical in the brain that once it is damaged, you never get it back,” said Fallon Schultz, a licensed clinical social worker from New Jersey. Since dopamine is needed to control emotions and prevent aggression, “that results in severe depressions and mood dysregulation,” which has caused high rates of aggression, psychosis, and suicide for many long-term users of Adderall, as shown by studies at UCLA [14, 15].
It seems like adderal messes up with dopamine …and then causes problem with bloodvessels.
Yeah vasoconstriction is very common side-effect of dopaminergic drugs, and it’s nothing to worry about really. It’s only temporary and wears off as you return to sobriety. Chronic use could be more problematic, Adderall doesn’t seem a very safe drug to take in the long-term tbh.
Ok so yes I went to the doctor last friday, and he was very honest to me, and he was like I just started the studies I cant tell you its efficacy but we can say that people that were on heroin and cocaine stopped right after taking the ibogaine, however he said that there were 16 cases that he knew of people who died because of the ibogaine, he did say it could probably due to the presence of heroin or cocaine in the blood in high doses and because of some interactions…
The point is he told me about two medicines , one is an antidepressant that he told me doesnt mess up with the libido, it actually increases libido and works on the dopamine receptors…and the other one is an “antianxiety” to use at night…I got say I was not at all open to the idea of using an antidepressant or anyother big pharma drug, since I had TREMENDOUS succes with cerebrolysin…I will look into these medicines and see what I can go from there.
But by the end of the appointment He mentioned somethin about the ayahuasca, In brazil they call it Santo Daime, and he said that there were many studies that proved its efficacy and safety…I ve been looking into it and it does seem very interesting. I will wait for livingdead´s outlook of the experience and see where I can go from there.
