I feel so angry and upset today

Have you improved your sleep and heart palpitations?

It’s come and go like 4 days I will sleep 4 hrs and then go back to sleep in half an hour for 3 hrs and when it’s bad I sleep 4 hrs then cannot go back. The heart palpitations are pretty much gone now. I believe the water fast helped them alot

Btw do you have any articles of people that have recovered face of bone loss over time?

Here is one: reversibe jaw shrinkage - . -

I talked to him once about his fat and muscle loss, and he told me they came back, but he thinks time was the biggest factor.

where do u ge it?

I only got 2 hours of sleep last night, down from 6 hours.
Does time really make it better? I’m so frustrated by these swings.

Should I wait or establish some protocol? I don’t even know where to start considering that I get adverse reactions to almost everything.
Does anyone have any advice?

I wonder what happened to all these guys posting few years ago? I dont recognize any of them

I know what you’re trying to say, but I feel like I have one of the more severe cases of PFS where your body keeps getting worse over time.
Honestly, this just feels so hopeless.

Sorry if I’m sounding like such an ass, but I’m really in an emotional wreck right now. I think my body is starting to lose weight again fast.

Hi Lakehouse,

is there a way to repair this epigenetic change? I mean by certain supplements or foods?

“For the first time, we demonstrate a tissue-specific methylation pattern of SRD5A2 promoter in PFS patients,” writes Prof. Melcangi. He concludes that methylation of the SRD5A2 promoter in PFS patients “could represent an important mechanism of neuroactive steroid levels and behavioral disturbances previously described in PFS.”

The SRD5A2 gene provides instructions for making steroid 5-alpha reductase, type 2, the enzyme that is inhibited by finasteride (Propecia and Proscar). This enzyme is involved in the processing of androgens and multiple other steroid hormones. Specifically, the enzyme converts testosterone into the more potent androgen, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), and multiple other steroid hormones into neuroactive steroids. DHT is essential for the normal development and maintenance of male sex characteristics, and normal function of the sexual organs. Neuroactive steroids are critically important for normal brain and central nervous system function.

The UniMi team explains that methylation of the SRD5A2 promoter could cause some of the persistent side effects in PFS patients. DNA methylation is an epigenetic mechanism that is important for controlling gene expression. Methylation of the promoter of a gene reduces or silences expression of the gene.

The SRD5A2 gene provides instructions for making an enzyme called steroid 5-alpha reductase 2. This enzyme is involved in processing androgens, which are hormones that direct male sexual development. Specifically, the enzyme is responsible for a chemical reaction that converts the hormone testosterone to a more potent androgen, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), in male reproductive tissues.

Have you reported your symptoms to your country drug authority? @WorriedGuy123

Nope. Not sure if it’ll do anything, since I don’t have unique symptoms.

You have to tell them all your symptoms. They will record it and the more people complain the more serious our case will be. If they don’t know your problems they will think it’s a safe drug

Ok. I understand.

  1. not everyone has that gene methylated, it might not even be the reason for our symptoms, hence why we need to do more research

  2. there are substances that can reverse epigenetic change but these are hard substances that are also dangerous if we don’t know which ones target the genes we want

Our best bet is contribute to the community projects right now.

Take the survey, and participate in the 23&me project ASAP. The latter will at least help prove that this is a genetics problem which makes everything else much easier

how are you doing neverwill what are the symptoms that remain?

Hi I have spf for 11 months.
The first few months I broke in 2 my knees my back my arms it was all a continuous noise I could barely walk and go up the stairs. Today starting from the eighth month the joints are much better as well as the muscles less the nerves of the buttocks. But it is better than at the beginning.
As for tachycardia there is it in the morning when I wake up and go to the bathroom my hands sweat. Luckily I am able to sleep and have sex with cialis. Now I am starting to train slightly with mini circuits and ketogenic diet. I do not take anything except vitamin d little about 1000ui. And magnesium. The weather helped me get better. But not to recover as I was before. But today it is much better than at the beginning.

thats good news bro,
how is your ear, can you explain?

I don’t know how much longer I can keep going.
My back continues to hurt. I might get fired from my job. I might become permanently disabled. Just so many things have gone wrong in the past 2.5 months.

What did I do to deserve this?

Thats really sad to hear bro, do you do physical work?

Perhaps call in sick for a few weeks?

It was just a misstep brother,

EDIT: FDA is approving these drugs and the doctors are prescribing fin like skittles and we are the silent victims.

Not physical, thankfully, but it still hurts when I sit for a few hours.

I was thinking about taking a medical leave.
