any suggestions ? what can I do? by the way I have high blood pressure,
maybe I should try to take viagra but high blood pressure with viagra isn’t that good combination … I don’t know what to do else it looks like it is a psychological problem … but I just have weak erections in the morning … not that often spontanious and weak nocturnal erections…
my last full 100% erection was in 2009/7 after that i had great results with carots which just last 1 week and were about 65-85 % by the way I’m 21 years old … so I don’t think that I have penile shrinkage but it’s just not full with blood like it used to be.

Prolactin on the high end, and cortisol is high depending upon what time of day you had it taken.

Please indicate the time of day for your blood draw. How long were you on finasteride?

so the time of the test was at about 9.50

and I was 11 months on it maybe actually 13 because before I took it regulary I had a small package the doctor priscribed me to see how i react on it .

Your FSH & LH are high. Your GH is very low. It’s really unbelievable how this damm pill screws up everyone’s hormones differently.

bostonusa, good point. There are a subset of post fin men that have very elevated FSH levels. A larger number have very poor FSH levels, even with PCT such as clomiphene.

88, it would be interesting to see your inhibin B level it might be very low (FSH suppresses inhibin). Cortisol given a mid morning draw is not at an unexpected level.

so I don’t think that i have tested it , I’m going to note everything which was tested …

GH level is a pointless test as it varies so much throughout the day, being highest 2 hours after one falls asleep.

Instead, IGF-1 and IGFBP3 are more accurate parameters to assess GH secretion.

JN

Ok thank you JN… I’m still wondering what could be the reason why I do still suffer E.D. the last time i made a bloodtest was the day I got my last 100% erection . SO this was in 2009 /7 at about 10.30.
It was just an testosterone- level-test and it was almost 1 range higher. so it was 7,26 instead of 6,1 .Unfortunatelly nothing else was tested. So my question is … could I be A High-testosterone male … I’m pretty big (6.4-6.5 feet) or is this normal that it can be vary in one range …So my question is what could happen when I have a value of maybe 10 or 11 in testosterone.
Maybe this question is stupid but I would like to know that…

You need to get Adiol G tested.

JN

So I’d like to do a second blood/hormonetest
What else can I be checked for except IGFBP3 , 3 Alpha Androstanediol Glucuronide, Vitamin D, Inhibin B ?

Id take a good look at your thyriod!

From the values you provided you need to have this looked into!

TSH
RT3
FT3
FT4

Check for antibodies too!

Yes, I will go for it , my Endo also said that I have to retest this. I’m a bit nervous by bloodtesting. so there will be a 30 minutes test so I can relax a bit , she said that this could be the reason why these values are so high

You’re pituitary seems to be sending normal signals to your adrenals, but with that high of TSH level, for some reason your pituitary is telling your thyroid to go all out. I would assume that that means your pituitary is working correctly, but either your thyroid isn’t doing it’s job or the pituitary isn’t getting feedback telling it to stop.

If you simply take an oral body temperature with an accurate thermometer you will have an accurate idea of how well your thyroid is functioning. Around 3pm you should be close to 98.6 if it’s lower than 98.2 you most likely have thyroid issues. Keep in mind that eating or exercise before testing will raise your temperature.

Hope88,

You might as well test your adrenal glands as well. I didn’t see anyone mention that. Be sure to either do saliva test or a blood test that requires multiple checks on cortisol levels. For some reason, my doctor favored the blood test.

They did three blood tests within a two hour period, after the first one they injected me with some type of cortisone to see how my body reacted to it. I will get the results next week.

They got a baseline cortisol in blood. Then they injected you with acth wich tells your adrenals to produce cortisol. They then evaluate how much your adrenals were able to increase cortisol production. So the injection simulates you beeing in a stressfull situation and c how/if your adrenals can cope with the increased demand for cortisol during this simulated stressfull situation.

troubledfinuser2,

My fear is the test results don’t come back below the range, but I test at the bottom of it. This way, the dr says you are fine, but there is still a problem with it.

My Free T4 came back 1.0 (0.9-1.8) from two weeks ago. (no test done t3

Last week Free T4 1.01 (0.61-1.12) NG/DL
Free T3 2.81 (2.50-3.90) PG/ML

T3 looks very low to me. ALso why is the range for T4 different than the range given for T4 the week prior? According to last weeks number and range my T4 looks low too.

Hey Boston.

Dont worrie about the result coming in high or low. Take it for what it is, if its in range by some its a big chance your problem dont lie there. You dont want to be treating a problem that doesent exist. Alltho i know what you mean with tests that are borderline…

Id be suprised if you show or have complained about low thyriod symtomps to your doc and he still think those labs are okay. They are obviously not high enough to exclude hypothyriod if you present symptom of the same. Obv im not a doc but again id be suprised.

So I finally get some vitamin B6 , so I hope this can help to decrease my prolactin-level …what can I do else to decrease prolactin or do you guys think I should do nothing else ,just take vitamin B6 supplement. By the way how much a day ? because in the prescription it says to take a maximum of 3 pills. please drop me a comment

did your doctor say anything about LH and FSH being out of range high?
