Distilled Water

Anyone has been drinking distilled water and seen results from it? It’s supposed to be very good to detoxify the body and there are people claiming to have been healed from health issues by it.

I hesitated about posting this video because there’s a bit of nonsense with the host of the show and parts of what the guy says that won’t please everyone, but it explains well the principles, so I’ll post it anyway: youtube.com/watch?v=CDUXHiGCv6o

Will give this a try.

I’m not sure I follow what “detoxify” really means. This image I stumbled across today gets my point across maybe.

I can’t see the image you’ve posted. What I understand is that distilled water takes away dead minerals that your body can’t process but leaves the assimilable minerals, detoxify your body from things like fluoride or mercury, decalcify the pineal gland, which has a function in libido, as you may know. It cleanses like fasting cleanses you, and then the body can function more normally or at least repair itself. Normal water is already charged with dead minerals and chemical products, but distilled water has a pure negative charge and will attract for that reason all these things and expel them from the body.

You are best off investing in the PFS Foundation. There are scietific studies taking place at two elite US medical institutions. Invest in your future.

Chrisis, I can now see the picture you’ve posted. I don’t believe distilled water is a buzzword. I first read about it in Bragg’s book about fasting: bragg.com/blog/index.php/all-nat … led-water/

I know that parts of what this guy says can be off-putting, but if you keep listening, he explains it in a rather simple and convincing way and I didn’t see videos or texts from other people on the internet that were that complete (maybe I didn’t check enough).

Gelhead, my guess is that your post was written for the one million dollar cure thread, but if you thought about the need to invest in an expensive machine to do the distilled water, I’m actually just buying it bottled up and it’s not really expensive.

why not spring water?

much more live giving in my opinion …

you need a good srping though.

Spring water is full of inorganic minerals that your body can’t absorb and possibly chemicals too, although less than tap water, which is the only benefit I see. Distilled water is considered a cure in itself because it cleanse the body. People are reporting being cured from serious health problems just by drinking distilled water and without changing anything else in their lifestyle. Surprising things also happen. This guy for instance says his hair color returned in a couple of months, and it is apparently something common with people drinking distilled water: in5d.com/andrew-norton-webbe … water.html

The protocol is to drink between a gallon and a gallon and a half of distilled water per day. Less than that, you won’t get the benefits. You can buy distilled water at the supermarket or in places like Wallmart and it’s not expensive.

Might give this a go. I’ve been drinking volvic bottled water for years which made me feel healthier.

How long do you need to drink distilled water to see any results ?

Andrew Norton Webber, the guy from the video I posted, says that the people that are contacting him always tell him the same thing for time. After 3 days, they feel a rise in energy. After a month, they are convinced that it is working because energy has been rising steadily, the appearance of their skin changes and they feel amazing. After 3 months, this is when the “miracles” seem to happen: you don’t need your glasses anymore, original hair color back, etc. As with fasting, you might get detox symptoms though as the body cleanses itself.

Chrisis, what’s your point? Norton Webber addresses the problem of the chemicals if you buy distilled water in plastic bottles in one video (can’t remember which). He says it’s not really a concern because, if I remember well, the distilled water molecules will attach themselves to the chemicals and they will be evacuated from your system. If it’s the environmental impact that concerns you, you can get 5-gallon bottles as I do, and of course you can invest in a little house distiller if you see it’s working for you.

It’s OK to be skeptical. I didn’t know anything about this before seeing these videos and reading about it. I think the principles of distilled water provoke the same reaction than fasting because it goes against preconceived ideas. Fasting can’t be good for you, to be healthy, what you need is to put food in your body, right? People think distilled water is just “dead water” and what you need is water with stuff in it. I don’t ask you to take my word for it, but do your own research. You obviously didn’t look into this at all.

Livingdead, apologies my intention isn’t to argue. I’m playing devil’s advocate to a large extent. It’s true, I’m naturally skeptical. There is so much bunk on these forums, e.g. homeopathy. If you think distilled water helps, go for it. I do think drinking it from a plastic bottle is an issue though.

I don’t get why “gluten-free” would be a “health buzzword.” Isn’t it widely accepted that gluten causes health issues in a lot of people???

Yes, but you can apply the same principle to “low fat” or “sugar free” if that helps. The idea is that words such as “gluten free” or “detoxify” can be thrown around that they lose meaning and become synonyms for “good for you”, which isn’t necessarily true or relevant.

Chrisis, I don’t know what to tell you. For instance, I don’t know anything about homeopathy and I’m not really interested in it because I don’t believe it can help me with my problems of insomnia, fatigue, depression, anxiety, bad memory, etc. If there was a thread about homeopathy in the forum, I would inform myself first on principles and results people get from it before saying that people who believe in this are a bunch of gullible idiots, but most probably, I wouldn’t even read the thread because I just don’t think it can help me. I know that in your case, you only have sexual sides, so maybe you think that you just need to find the one thing that would fix what seems to be a purely hormonal problem and are not interested in systemic approaches like alimentation, fasting, training and distilled water, which is totally normal, but why even read this thread?

Yeah, you never mentioned your concern about people drinking water in plastic bottles, but all of a sudden you consider it a big issue, even though I wrote that Norton Webber says it’s not a problem because the molecules of distilled water are free and can attach themselves to the chemicals and evacuate them from the body, whilst in water loaded with minerals, the chemicals will flow freely and be able to affect the body. Of course, to understand this you would need to know the basics of how distilled water works, but you won’t bother to check it out. That’s fine, but why taking your time to post your opinion on a subject you don’t know anything about? I’m saying this in a friendly way, but what’s the point, Chrisis?

For the ones considering this, Norton Webber says that people buying distilled water in plastic bottles get the same results than those using a house distiller.

When you talk about distilled water, are talking about… carbon-filtered water, reverse-osmosis water, or the actual distilled water (through heating to fog etc)? I’m looking into this but I don’t find clarification about which one is it, LivingDead. I’m purely curious at this point but I’ve never heard of distilled water causing detox reactions (where are these anecdotes listed??) and that hair colour returning is pretty new stuff even for me/seems pretty wild. If you can, can you give me some links to actual anecdotes to detox etc?

I think… what are sold are “battery water” and sterilized water/“aqua ad iniectabilia” in pharmacies. I’m not sure if they sell distilled water in supermarkets here, unless it’s regular bottled water in name.

My point was just to treat claims of this nature with skepticism, because that’s how I’m inclined. If you feel distilled water will help you, then by all means go for it.

/peace

Fair enough, Chrisis.

Gefinauser, the reference on that subject right now seems to be Andrew Norton Webber. He explains that he was studying urine therapy, which is something very sick people do as a last resort when they tried everything else and nothing worked. For example, they have cancer and the doctor said to them they only had two months to live. What they do is they drink their own urine, and apparently they cure themselves this way, but at the same time, they seemed completely rejuvenated. He says he actually thought distilled water was bad for health because this is what you usually hear, but one day he read a book on distilled water and people were reporting exactly the same things than with urine therapy. This gave him the idea that both might be working the same way. So he began reading about distilled water and experimenting with it and also people around him, and he observed this healing and rejuvenating effect. Now, he does conferences and puts videos on the internet where he talks about distilled water and people write to him or call him on his internet shows and report the same health benefits.

The guy is not a scientist, but he’s pretty convincing when he talks about the principles of distilled water. He’s a bit on the conspiracy theory side because he believes that there are people profiting from health problems who don’t really want this information to be out. There is also a spiritual development of his thinking that you can leave aside, but his explanations on distilled water are very simple and based on physical facts. He also gives very interesting health advises. For instance, did you know that green tea is full of fluoride? He says that’s why it has this calming effect, because it “numbs your brain”. He will also answer the questions that might come up if you want to try distilled water.

This is a list of books on distilled water he puts on his site: aquariusthewaterbearer.com/the-water-library/

Here’s a short video he did on the principles of distilled water: youtube.com/watch?v=QI5YgLHo87o

You can watch the first video I put in the thread, which contains good information despite the bad jokes from the guy doing the interview (here’s the link again: youtube.com/watch?v=qTtMDbMYnGM).

I also watched this video: youtube.com/watch?v=O3xGOXtUoE4
In this one, the problem is the callers are not screened and you get some weird ones, but still, lots of interesting information there too.

The distilled water I am talking about is the actual distilled water that went through evaporating process and is now free of inorganic minerals and chemicals, but it seems that you can use reverse-osmosis water also if you drink the right amount, which would be of one gallon for someone weighting 150 pounds. The purity of reverse-osmosis water is not as high as the one of distilled water, but Norton Webber says one of his friends tried it with reverse-osmosis water and had the same rejuvenating effects.

Distilled water is used in laboratories and for dialysis treatments among other things and if you live in a big enough city, you can buy it from their supplier, and they can probably deliver it to your home as they do for their other clients. If you live in a small isolated village, then maybe the only option is to buy a water distiller.

Oh, yeah, if you decide to try this, maybe it would be a good idea to have vitamin C at hand to help with the elimination of toxins. I was feeling dizzy yesterday. I took vitamin C and after that I was OK. The same thing happened today.

It’s been roughly one week since I began drinking distilled water. Here’s what I’m noticing. I’m getting pimples, which I almost never have normally. My inner thigh rash is back full force. Dizziness and big problem with sleep. The only positive effect so far is energy, which is a little higher, but I feel like shit because of the lack of sleep, so not that remarkable. Today, I’m going to drink my gallon early during the day and only drink normal water tonight, hopping it won’t affect my sleep this way. If not, I’ll probably skip a day to have at least one normal night of sleep.
