Cortisol management the key?

What’s with the stupid fucking answers guys?

I did a bit of googling and there is tiny kids taking it. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of standing around not trying things.

ok joe this is my experiance with it. I was given it for crohns disease. It made my brain fog worse, blurred my vision, made my teeth sensitive as shit, made me wake up in the night in a puddle of sweat, put on 5kg over night, made my fatigue and coordination worse. Imo this is not just something you “run”.

It did not touch my crohns symptoms or my pfs ones jfyi.

Do you have a known thryoid problem? If so, then treating with only cortisol is only fixing half of the problem. Also it’s mainly thyroid that is responsible for sexual problems, cortisol just makes thryoid work better. You need to get thryoid meds.

I’ve never heard of this before… well breifly once. Where did you get this information from? I was under the impresson that cortisol and mainly thryoid were pretty much responsible for your body temp?

How would one test to see if their electrolytes are out of wack?

How’s your thryroid including RT3?

Just experimenting with Preg TD for a few days. Definite increase in nocturnal erections and quality/quantity of ejaculate.

Really? Just a few days of preg and you observed a notable increase in ejaculate volume? No other variables at play (not whacking it for a few days?) All other things equal?

I noticed changes quite quickly from preg too when i tried it. I remember being shocked at an almost pre-fin load coming out of nowhere. I really didn’t expect it.

Yes, honestly. Easy to notice as previously it’s been watery mostly. Not on a proper regimen yet - just wanted to try if for a few days.

wow, that’s amazing. this whole line of thinking is something I’m discussing in an upcoming doc appointment. I have no idea where my numbers are at right now, I’m awaiting the labs, don’t know if this treatment is in the cards for me, but it’s quite interesting.

Do not get overexcited, guys. Pregnenolone-only won’t work in 99% of PFS people. If it loses its effects, it will be most likely because you run out of thyroid hormones. That’s definitely what happened to me (labs show it) and probably what happened to others of us who used it. Remember that thyroid hormones work together with cortisol to increase metabolism – you need both.

The safest and most natural medication to increase cortisol is hydrocortisone, which is bioidentical cortisol, not prednisone and not dexa. But, of course, this is only my opinion, and not a dr’s opinion.

This website (globalrph.com/corticocalc.htm) reports the half life of different corticosteroids and and the conversion rate between them. For example, 40 mg prednisone (commonly given by doctors) are equivalent to 160 mg of HC (Dr Crisler never gives more than 30-40 mg)

Is this really a cure for a syndrome that induces mutilated genitalia? I think that chilln underestimates the extent we have been damaged. It’s not just ED it’s all kind of weird tissue changes.

AnywaY, I would like to try some proper strength transdermal prg regardless. My cortisol’s fucked.

It’s worth a try.

If we can somehow get out endoctrine systems optimised (which preg supposedly helps to do) then it might give our bodies a chance to fix itself. Considering all these problems started from a 5ARII inhibitor, maybe some damage can be reversed by forcing our endoctrine recovery (or optimisation).

I am sure the user Sobot is our Solonjk.
anyway did some body give Dexamethasone a try. It is an immunosuppressant.

I’m talking about user robocopp, not Sobot

I know you are talking about Robbocopp. I mentioned solon for two reasons
1- did he read robbocopp’s comments?
2-did he or other tried Dexamethasone

dexamethasone, since it is immunosuppressive, further encourages that this is an inflammatory condition.

1- not sure
2- yes, the people treated by the Greek doctor are taking Dexa. They think that their improvement is caused by improving prostititis. I think it’s caused by Dexa (and antibiotics), because we have examples of people who get better with dexa or a similar treatment (prednisone).

Or, it strengthens the theory presented in this thread, i.e. boosting cortisol is part of the solution. Nevertheless, boosting cortisol-only can fix just few select people (i.e. correiovip, who took prednisone)

I’m not aware of anyone who is seeing Dr. G that is taking dexamethazone…
