Thats a good sign for sure. I was hit extremely hard but had no noticeable side effects until after I stopped taking the drug (took it for 9 years, looking back had gum deterioration some excess belly fat which I now attribute to it, but no sexual problems at all, in fact I was horny all the time in the last 2-3 years taking it) Within 2 weeks after taking the drug my legs and upper arms got small (loss of sub cutaneous fat), face was constantly red (rosecea like appearance), penis was numb and curved to the left, libido was gone, skin became thin and I could see veins easily etc. My outer eyebrows shedded, hair on my lower legs shedded, digestion issues, brain fog, low body temperature, freezing cold hands and feet. I had low T and low bioavailable T as well as upper high cortisol.
So its been about 12 months off, for the first 1-6 months I would have 2-3 bad weeks and 2-3 decent days. In those bad weeks I would have softer erections and no libido and when I did orgasm I couldnt feel it. There was no pleasure at all. That seemed to go away after the 6 months mark and now 95% of the time I acutally have pleasurably orgasms so I know something is improving for sure. I also have more days with libido. My body is also not as cold, and I am having stretches of feeling better all around. I also have taken nothing! I have a theory of what has happened to us and so far the science seems to be heading that way so I dont believe maniuplating hormone levels will do anything to fix it. HOWEVER, do not get discouraged because there seems to be a cycle to this, and sometimes at times when I feel like I am out of the woods and headed towards recovery, BAMMMM! I crash back down.
