Been gone for a while but wanted to check in - almost 100%

I tapered armour and isocort slowly over time, I think I gradually did this over a year. I did try TRT once, I felt great for about 2 weeks but the more I read about testosterone treatment the more I saw it as a temp. treatment that would probably lead to more problems.

I didnt have access to much more since the doctors saw me as a nutcase and wouldnt even consider that MAYBE I was suffering from adverse affects from propecia. I had to self treat, experiment etc.
Ad far as armour went like I said, at first I felt great but it tapered off and I was right back where I started but I read more and more about adrenal problems and how the thyroid couldnt function right unless the adrenals were ok. Thats when I looked into different treatmenst for the adrenals and I came up with isocort. It did take time and I was scared to try it because it seemed evertime I tried something my body was so overly sensitive to meds, supplements etc that I would over react to whatever I would take. I was a nightmare. But in time and determination it started to help and here I am, years later Im feeling good.
Its funny, when I look back. I was so concerned with losing my hair. How I would look to women etc. Here I am now, recovered, a little less hair, a beautiful Finnish Girlfriend 11 years younger than meā€¦crazy how life can be sometimes.
I really do hope that everyone on this board recovers from this horrible drug. I have sympathy because Ive been there and almost didnt make it out.
Anymore questions feel free to ask, Im an open book.
Mitch

mitch did u feel at ur bad times any sort of coldness or numbness from penis, also did u notice any hardness inside when penis was flaccid?

Mitch can you please answer my previous questiong regarding libido?

No, I never noticed any of that thank God although I had drastic decrease in libido

Hi, sorry about that.
I did have libido problems, erections were so so, never really hard, semi soft or not at all. I had a testosteron shot once and my libido went through the roof for a week or so but it tapered off again. I did continue with the TRT.
I was too paranoid to start experimenting with more drugs. It seemed everytime I tried something it had adverse effects and it would take weeks to return to my ā€œnormalā€ state again.
With time and I believe the armour, isocort, exercise, change in diet and a lot of hope it is now fine and back to my old self.
Hope this helps.

Hi Mitch,

DO you recall where you bought the Isocort & Armour Thyroid from?

Iā€™m not willing to back to any doctors right now. I would be interested in buying these online.

thanks

After going through this all mess, only one thing stikes me, leave your body the mercy of time. if you try youself ,you may hamrm more than the good.
what if you cause bigger damage like liver or kidney damage. most of the sex enhancer are hard on kidneys and liver.

Iā€™ve had the same thing happen to me chiller

toad, how long has this been going on, when you recovered the first time after 2 weeks did u experience these symptoms before u got better also?

I dont recall but I will go through my old emails and see if I can find where I bought them. I do know isocort I bought at a health food store in LA. I think they were called National Drug, strange name for a health food store. I will look and see where I bought the armour and post it.

Ok, this is where I bought the armour, it used to be fairly easy. I would first check out
stopthethyroidmadness.com and read up on how much to take etc.
anyway, here it is
www.antiaging-systems.com

Mitch, are you purpously ignoring me or what? If you are then I wont bother repeating the questions to you. I thought you said you would help any way you can.

I did answer your question but I will do it again. Ive copied and pasted my response, here it is

Hope this helps.

No, I wasnt ignoring you, look 9 posts up, I thought I answered your question but just did again.

Mitch I want to thank you for being so patient with us. We are just desparate for information from someone who did recover from this.

I was curious if you had your T levels measured before you used Armour Thyroid and after you were on it for awhile?

Iā€™m not sure what you meanā€¦The first time i took the drug for 8 monthsā€¦ i believe I noticed those types of things happening once in a whileā€¦ after quitting the first timeā€¦ I went back to normal after 2 weeksā€¦ libido, ed, morning erections, everything was back to normalā€¦ then I decided to take the drug again with a smaller doseā€¦ after quitting the 2nd time I still did experience what you experiencedā€¦ and still to this dayā€¦ its a weird feeling, and I noticed it but didnā€™t really know how to describe it, but you made a good description of it and i recognized it.

Thankyou Mitch, my apologies, I must have missed that postā€¦

Good to hear it.

No Problem. Good luck, stay strong and keep the faith buddy

Found an interesting discussion relative to thyroid issues and low dht as a result of fin use on this bodybuilding forum. This is total hearsay, but Iā€™ll quote it anyways, from the board:

Here is the discussion:
anabolicminds.com/forum/male-ant ā€¦ yroid.html

I will see if I can find anything more scientific on this.

Interesting stuff Badluck, I did not know this.

One of my doctors recently said that he thinks my T4 is not converting to T3. He blamed it on high cortisol levels due to a possible receptor problem. I will be hitting him up about this thyroid stuff when I go see him in a couple weeks.
