A long-term PFS sufferer says he is cured from the disease after undergoing this protocol

Are you noticing any hair loss on hcg ?

No hair loss on my head yet. I am seeing more hair on my body, including eyebrows, which had thinned out quite a bit.

**Thanks for that. **

I’m curious how long and how often your doctor prescribed the 500iu hCG injections. Mine originally told me 2 times a week, but as I mentioned, I’m doing 3x 250iu, as per JoeKool.

He texted me that he wanted me to do 500iu HCG injections Monday, Wednesday Friday for maybe 3 months? not sure of the duration yet.

The doctor that prescribed me hCG also said 500iu 3x a week, but he didn’t believe finasteride was the cause, and I decided to stick with JoeKool’s 250iu 3x a week instead.

I don’t know if anyone else with PFS tried 500iu instead and had reported success, which is why I’m on 250.

After almost 10 weeks or so, I’m happy to report the watery semen is now not as watery. It’s far from “normal” but is starting to have some consistency and stickiness. This is minor, but the first real change in semen I’ve seen in a decade, and hope it continues. The testicles are also continuing to hang more normally, but occasionally scrunch up into a tight sack again.

I had shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago, and have only been injecting into the other “good” shoulder for about 3 weeks. I noticed some bruising there, so I’m switching injections over to my stomach until my other shoulder is better and back in the rotation.

The surgery included its own cocktail of drugs, including dexamethasone and nerve blockers, and while I felt a bit off, most of the subtle improvements have stuck, including morning erections. While “desire” still isn’t back yet, I’ve been thinking more about sex lately, but it may be just optimism that one day things will return. It’s a good feeling.

I’m interested in any feedback anyone currently on this hCG has had. I want to believe this is more than just me experiencing these things.

Anyone doing the HCG, are you doing IM injections as per JoeKool or subQ?

Do we think it matters, while I’m at it?

In higher doses that were tested, it’s just as effective, as noted in the article pasted at the bottom. I think injections into muscles are more quickly and completely absorbed, and may be out of your system quicker than those through body fat. Having said that, most doctors who prescribe hCG for various reasons instruct patients to inject into their stomach.

Where did you get hCG? My doc told me the FDA discontinued it so none of his suppliers offer it now.

I think your doctor may be referring to over the counter sales of hCG. hCG is currently prescribed by fertility doctors, some diet doctors, and others for treatment of male issues similar to ours.

I’ve been to so many doctors over the years, that I can’t keep count. What is consistent among them is once you blame finasteride for the issues we experience, you’re looked at like a loon.

Every doctor I’ve seen where I only mentioned symptoms seems to work with me, at least for a while. The current doctor I found is one who prescribes TRT, and I went to him seeking an explanation for my condition, and assistance in finding a treatment that wasn’t the commitment TRT is. His conclusion was I must have suffered an infection that lead to the condition and symptoms we know as PFS. He suggested hCG, which I saw he prescribes (from his website). Of course, given that’s what I went in there for, I took it.

The only difference is the dosages he prescribed, which were 500iu 3x a week, for 3 months, and the protocol I’m following is 250iu 3x a week. Since I was prescribed 100 needles, I can achieve that with the hCG I was issued. I’m now 26 or 27 injections into the protocol, which is exactly 1/3 of the way complete.

If this doctor hadn’t prescribed the hCG, I would have gone to a diet place to get the hCG, but thankfully I didn’t have to.

I’m really hoping others can find a doctor to try this with, because, so far, I have had no negative effects, except, just recently, 2 small bruises due to injections. Everything else has stayed the same or gotten better.

I see. So what kind of doctor prescribed you the hCG?

The doctor on the website below gave it to me.

I’d assume other, similar doctors can be found in many places.

He’s only charging you $100 per month right? That’s such a good deal for hcg

I think it was $145/month, which is less than so many of the other doctors I’ve seen for a single visit, where they did nothing.

Just got confirmation from my doctor. He is prescribing me HCG and wants me to go on it for 2 months. I am nervous but excited. Weirdly enough, he made me get labwork done before prescribing and my testosterone which was last tested a month ago (in the afternoon.) was around 350. My testosterone (tested in the morning) just a week ago. was 757??? No idea how it could be that large of a swing but its a moot point. Somehow, with the help of the 2016 Buenos Aires study, despite my “normal” testosterone, he was persuaded to give me HCG. Will keep you all updated.

That’s terrific news! Curious what the dosage and frequency are, and looking forward to your feedback! Glad he did tests before!

As for testosterone levels, I’ve had swings too, from 200’s to 500’s. Sometimes I feel it’s cyclical, like a period.

Please pay attention to everything to see what changes really occur. Maybe weight and some pictures can help. I wish I took more.

I hope to hear something positive and I’m sending you good wishes!

Thanks dude. This disease feels cyclical in nature as well, so I am not surprised though it is odd. I will absolutely document the experience, something I regret not doing in my early stages of PFS. Still waiting on him sending the script in so I will see dosage. Last time we discussed it was going to be M/W/Friday frequenecy at 500 i/u’s so we will see!

Is your doc an urologist or an endocrinologist ?

I also had a ridiculously low T reading in the afternoon. Always get it done in the morning.

No idea. As I previously mentioned, the individual i am working with is a physician’s assistant. Since my goal was to use HCG, no offense to him, but I am not all that interested in what he has to say. He told me the name of his physician that he supports but I forgot the name.

Received my HCG today! 10,000 IU vial of powder alongside a vial of bacteriostatic water. Pretty nervous and also a bit confused. It came with one syringe but says not to re-use which seems obvious but also, how am I supposed to do multiple injections without purchasing additional syringes? ? Obviously pretty ignorant when it comes to this kind of thing.

That large needle is only to mix it with. You need diabetic needles for the injections. Plus, that large needle will be painful. Don’t use it on yourself. Will write more soon.
