I do not think there is anything for Awor to update us on at the moment or he would have. We are awaiting the data from the pilot study to be published. He is most likely working on protocols for future research, which will take time and careful planning. He is doing all of this while working full time, supporting a family, and fighting PFS.
Trust me, just because he does not give constant updates is not a bad sign. Like he said, this is a slow process and we need to hang in there.
Stay positive and do not get discouraged by these things.
I agree with this…but at the same time I see the thought process that because many of us are helping (and being asked to) fund these research initiatives…a simple update every few months can’t hurt any body.
Mew, you at least know whether Study 1 is on track for publication. Is it still going to be published within the next 1-3 months ? I don’t think that is asking anything that is “sensitive” information…
Is there EVER going to be an update??? Or should we continue to “be patient”? This is absolutely getting ridiculous. I haven’t pursued any direction at attempted recovery because I am waiting on some sort of update from this so I can have a better idea of what I need to do
Hate to say it, but this is not a silenced AR problem or partial insensitivity problem. I believe this is extremely complicated unfortunately and definitely involves depleted neruosteroids. If you see my post, they just recently discovered NO not only gives you an erection but it is important to maintain it as well. I pray though.
I can see why awor wouldn’t want to update. He’s got one group of people shouting “give us updates damnit!” and another group of people shouting, “your highly-trained scientists studying PFS don’t know what the problem is, I figured out the problem by googling!”
Second Amendment…talk to Alan Jacobs, he has even moved away from Partial Androgen Resistance Theory. Not Armchair QB at all, its logic. Something that has never happened before or effects that are known, in sutdies, to deplete important neurosteroids. Traish and Goldstein also believe its neurological in nature.
