I hope that what information the scientist have gleamed shows a causation linking finasteride directly to our disease. Whatever that maybe if it was shown⌠It would be a destructive blow to Merck right now considering the recent media attention. May lead to the removal of not just finasteride but durastride as well from the market.
Awor, why not use the email newsletter function to update everyone that you are still looking for 2 users in Europe who can be a part of the study (and more people for other studies)? I doubt many people consistently come to the forum and see your updates needing more peopleâŚ
Not to detract from all work thatâs been put in so far but itâs very disappointing the Q3 studies will be indefinately delayed.

I would love to contribute to the nuerosteroid study as I got hit extremely hard by the mental side effects. But canât afford a trip to Italy at the moment.

Whatâs happening with the research fund?
The NPO takes months to set up and it is still in the process. Itâs even further complicated by the pending lawsuits.
What is going on with funding? Do we need money? We can collect from the members of this forum!
I hope we can make it trough this with the help of research/studies.

Setting up a charity in the UK is simple and would take about a week.
In the USA NPOs seem more complicated than elsewhere. For example, if the not-for-profit organisation has only a small amount of donors it has to make the identities of all those donors public. This is the difference between a âPublic Charityâ and a âPrivate Foundationâ.
(Also, if anyone is trying to set up a NPO not operated by people with a personal interest in Finasteride side effects, they should stop wasting time and realise thats impossible.)
