Zyprexa

I went to a psychiatrist and i explained her my brain fog (my disconnection from the world, difficulty to think, communicate, study,etc.). She thinks this is because my dopamine levels are now very low. So she suggested taking an anti-psycotic which increases dopamine (zyprexa). But i’ve been searching through the internet, and there’s people saying that zyprexa caused them diabetes. Apart from that, i haven’t seen many positive opinions about zyprexa, so i think i won’t take it.

Has anyone tried increasing dopamine with success (beating brain fog)?

Some people here have tried other methods of increasing dopamine, L tyrosine and wellbutrin are two examples. There is no reason to try an anti psychotic IMO.

agreed

I’ve just been looking info about zyprexa, and it doesn’t really increase dopamine (sorry, but that’s what my psychiatrist said), in fact, what it does is block dopamine receptors. But that could be even useful, seeing my experience with ritalin, and "former"s thread about dopamine receptors. viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4481
I think i i’ll try the healthy way for three until december, and if i not improve, maybe zyprexa will be an option.

Definitely, i won’t take it. youtube.com/watch?v=o_iXApBeT5s

I’m really scared about the pharmaceutical industry. Lesson learned.

i would not touch anything from the pharm industries ever again… i don’t know too much about zyprexa, but if it’s an SSRI, then i know people suffer from sexual dysfunction, among other things…

there’s a reason your dopamine is low… and i think by manipulating the body through a pill to make more dopamine when the system doesn’t want to make it is a mistake…
