Youtube videos/accounts about Propecia being shut down

A few videos that have been posted on Youtube about users negative experiences of Propecia have been shut down, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed things like this?

There was one video of an English guy wearing a hoodie who looked completely wasted from Propecia, his face was so washed out and tired looking. His speech seemed affected and he was just slumped in a chair saying how propecia had completely wiped him out and destroyed his life. It was scary to watch, powerful stuff. His situation sound like a few stories on here but to see it on video had such an impact. Sadly, that account has been shut down.

Another account - I think the guy was American. He was talking about Propecia and how the Merck studies are bullshit. He had alot of people responding and arguing about what he was saying. Some people seemed quite frightened by what he said and left comments calling him a fraud. Unfortunately, that account has also been shut down.

There have been a couple more to but I can’t retrieve the details from memory (no surprise there).

If these guys felt so strongly about Propecia and made and posted a video it doesn’t make sense that they would just close their account. Unless, Youtube has shut down the accounts due to complaints.

Perhaps somebody should download all the Propecia videos and save them incase Youtube/Merck trys to silence people, they can then be uploaded onto another website. Those videos are our voice.

If shutting down some YouTube videos (which I doubt) is the best Merck can do, they are in BIG trouble.

Look at all the research that been published in the past two years:

pfsfoundation.org/published-research/

And the first study on that list was paid for by Eli Lilly – a major Merck competitor:

onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1 … .1612/full

That’s like if Ford Motor Co. paid for a study to show that all Chevy Cobalt’s have defective brakes.

No, the cat is out of the bag and Merck is screwed.

As we speak, they are scrambling to figure out how NOT to wind up with a $5 billion liability.

Yes like PR said, they essentially cannot deny it at this point, that’s why when each of the recent studies have been released and news media has contacted Merck for comment their tune has been MUCH different than it was back around 2011… when they were “vigorously denying any causation”. Now they refuse to comment, if they were to take the same approach as in 2011 they would just be digging themselves deeper with every new study that comes out.

If they had the same strategy as in 2011, and kept saying that it wasn’t possible for finasteride to do these things than how would it look in court when these quotes were displayed from Merck, and at the same time studies from immensely reputable scientific institutions were being published over and over again stating the exact opposite?

They would look like a bunch of lying swine, with no moral credibility whatsoever. Their whole motto is “be well”, how could they justify their words in the face of overwhelming evidence? The answer is, they can’t, so anything they say denying the causation at this point is only going to make them look worse in the long term.

Well put, my friend.

And now more than ever, we need to keep the heat on.

Let’s show the world that Kenneth C. Frazier = Bill Cosby without the jokes.

Kenneth C. Frazier’s career will soon come to a grinding halt.

My whole channel was deleted without warming.

You should email youtube about that.

I did, they did not help.

Obviously, you should keep copies of all the videos you upload to YouTube.

So now get a totally new Google account and put your videos back up. Then post the link here and we will all start clicking there again.

To hell with Merck.

Always remember: Merck = Bill Cosby.

Merck = Bill Cosby
Merck = Bill Cosby
Merck = Bill Cosby
Merck = Bill Cosby
Merck = Bill Cosby
Merck = Bill Cosby
Merck = Bill Cosby

Did they give you an explanation for why they shut it down?

Can you chill with the Bill Cosby comparison? He really doesn’t have anything to do with this.

I seriously do not think Merck is really all that much worse than any other big Pharma company or the FDA (government) in regards to how they are handling this; any big pharma company is going to react in a similar way. This is how they are, they are concerned about their own money, what would be amusing is if the relatives of their top executives became sick off the drugs… seeing how they react… well their BoD is still going to do whats best for the stockholders.

I mean its always been about money in western capitalism, how many people have died for money at the behest of the USA? Millions now?

That’s true. But it’s dangerous to dismiss these macro evils by saying that’s how it’s long been and how it will always be.

Because at some point, someone you care about may fall victim to such an evil. And then it’s a whole new ballgame, right?

For example, let’s say Kenneth C. Frazier has a son and that son takes Propecia and develops PFS – and clearly tells the world, “I have PFS.” Worse, say that son commits suicide as a result of PFS.

How will Kenneth C. Frazier react? Will he say, “Ahhh, you gotta expect a little of that here in the pharmaceutical industry. So a Merck product killed my son. What’s the big deal? Compare that to the millions of men whose hair is no longer shedding. Look at how happy we’ve made them”?

He COULD say that. But the media and court of public opinion would likely brand him a psychopath.

Here’s another example: Say Mrs. Kenneth C. Frazier had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby. What would Mr. Kenneth C. Frazier say to that? Would he say, “Ahhh, that’s the price – and a small price at that – we pay for having all those hilarious episodes of ‘The Cosby Show’ and all those hilarious Cosby standup routines and all those hilarious Cosby books, and Fat Albert and so on and so on”?

He COULD say that. But the media and court of public opinion would likely brand him a psychopath.

Again, that’s why it’s dangerous to sit by passively and let these evils continue.

Because it’s your ass that could someday get bitten. And when it is, don’t go complaining about how no one’s doing anything to help you – or prevent it from happening again in the future.

Guess you decided to ignore my post. LOL

The point of my post was not to say “well its been going on for a long time so what can we do?” but to say that the problem isn’t just Merck, big pharma, or even all companies in general. It is a systemic problem that comes from a fascist mentality that has been embraced, lovingly by most of western civilization, especially the United States.

Capitalism in the sense that individuals are restricted and punished but organizations, particularly businesses are allowed to do essentially anything they want without fear of reprisal apart from a very, very long drawn out civil suit.

Thus there is no real accountability by corporations, their executive staff continues right along regardless if they lose in court. Even in China, one of the most oppressive authoritarian governments in existence, executives of companies are held accountable for their organizations harmful actions. (huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/2 … 68657.html)

Merck has KILLED thousands upon thousands of people. When do you think any of their staff will be executed like the two Chinese ones in that link above?

Read enough books on cases of various big corporations versus people they have hurt and you’ll see that these businesses are willing to go to any length possible to protect themselves from liability.

And the US government allows them to freely run amuck, whilst at the same time destroying the rights and privileges of the individual, including the individuals they harm.

The whole purpose of organized government and a legal system is to protect THE PEOPLE! NOT THE BUSINESSES!

I agree. But my whole point is that each individual should DO something – or at least TRY to do something – about all this. Don’t just sit around and complain.

For example, and I’ve said this many times, if you got 50 people together with protest signs and marched around Merck’s front door for a few days while shouting “Out of the courtrooms and into the streets!” (and other such chants) that would probably make the news – and worry Merck a bit.

Even if nothing happened after that, 100 or 500 or 5,000 or 50,000 etc. people who had not been aware of Merck’s ongoing evils, would then be aware.

But you COULD build from there – which is why I keep coming back to Bill Cosby. What happened in his case is the people – THE PEOPLE – circumvented the court system, the TV networks, the talent agencies, the high-priced PR minions and so on. Merely by standing up and speaking out en masse and sharing the message, they shut Bill down.

How/why he got away with serial rape for decades is the same way Merck is now getting away with killing its own customers without being accountable (beyond settling, in some cases, out of court with some negligible amount of money).

But until large groups of people gather in front of Merck’s HQ and shout that they’re mad as hell and not going to take it any more, they will keep doing what they are doing.

Because they ARE getting away with it. And we’re letting them get away with it.

Well… still waiting for that Men’s Journal article. Maybe I’ll write something up myself and see if Huffington Post or anyone else will pick it up.

That’s a good idea. But for the Huffington Post, you would need to go on the record – i.e., write in the first person. Tell the world what finasteride has done to you, not just biologically, but emotionally and socially.

And in your column, call for a protest in front of Merck’s headquarters.

Really I should keep working on my book because any article I write will either be too long for them to publish or too short to really cover the aspects that need to be covered.

A book is even better. The problem might be, though, that few publishers would consider it – because how do they know you’re not making up the whole thing? In that case, they could open themselves up to a libel suit from Merck.

Better to wait until after the trials. And if you are among the winning plaintiff/victims, then I imagine you could shop a book deal.

You can of course SELF-publish, but that would not hold a lot of weight.
